14. Rainbowman

The two now breathed a sigh of relief as the person in front of him did not mind their goal anymore and now moved towards the dry wood intending to make a bonfire in the courtyard of the cottage.

Aryo wanted to help but the person slowly rejected him, the person said it wouldn't take long to make. Now the pile of wood is neatly arranged and ready to be burned.

Aryo and the old man came out of the cottage when Ki Ratno shouted after the fire began to live. Aryo and the old man approached and sat by the campfire to warm their bodies.

Ki Ratno saw his two guests still put on a worried look. Finally, he decided to talk to both of them.

“Young people take it easy, this old man won't do anything. I'm glad a guest came by tonight. To be honest for years no one can come to me” said Ki Ratno trying to melt the atmosphere.

“Sorry uncle if our attitude has caused bad prejudice against uncle. Once again we are sorry and thank you for giving us time to take shelter here” replied Aryo somewhat stammered because he was caught worrying.

“Force our sassness this elder, we should not behave like this towards the person who has helped us” the old man continued Aryo's explanation.

“It is with great pleasure that this old man received your apologies” Ki Ratno replied with his trademark laugh.

Ki Ratno then introduced himself and started telling stories about himself as well as the cottage he lived in. Aryo and the old man heard the story without cutting back until Ki Ratno stopped telling the story and started looking up.

“Sorry uncle, can you explain what is going on in this cottage? Especially the translucent wall above us?” ask Aryo to Ki Ratno.

The eyes of both of them glared as if they could not believe the explanation of Ki Ratno who was so foreign and they had never heard of him even once. Ki Ratno explained that the magical wall that holds the rain today is a study called the rain wall. The two were still listening until a word stopped their shock.

“Rain handler show?” Aryo and the old man asked simultaneously to Ki Ratno.

Ki Ratno again explained with this study the person who mastered it will get the power to control the wind. This way the rain can be moved and can attract rain to the desired place. Hearing that explanation finally explained the phenomenon they were currently seeing.

“Can I ask you one thing young man?” Ki Ratno asked Aryo.

“What is Ki?” aryo replied afterwards.

“Will soon be born a baby from your family?” ask Ki Ratno back.

Aryo's eyes glared in surprise, he did not expect the question Ki Ratno was asking him. Aryo did not immediately reply and kept silent due to her shock. The old man who saw Aryo's reaction finally started to speak up.

“True Ki, soon the first baby young master Aryo will be born. But how did Ki Ratno know this?” the old man explained and asked back to Ki Ratno.

“Ahhhh arguably I know a little of his life story later” replied Ki Ratno with a loud laugh.

Ki Ratno's loud laughter shocked the two, as when Ki Ratno laughed the wind blew loudly with him. Slowly Ki Ratno's laughter began to stop followed by the wind that blew earlier. Ki Ratno now put on a face that showed deep sadness.

“I have a small request, will the young master fulfill it?” ki Ratno's remark again broke the shock of the two.

“What does Ki Ratno want?” ask Aryo quickly.

“I've lived in this world for a long time and am getting tired. Nothing makes me happy until the news that your child will be born into this world. This little old man's request is simple, I want your son to inherit this rain handler's legacy. This will help him later from all his life trips” Ki Ratno explained at length his request.
