The Demon King Mode System

The Demon King Mode System
CHAPTER 41: METHODS

One of them had a large head with a devil horn that stuck out straight and sharp. It was good at attacking through a collision. Other demons have strong hind legs and are good at jumping. Both prey on each other, their eyes red. Their environment is now a mess.

The battle did not take long to reach a conclusion. The devil who was good at jumping found the perfect moment to pierce his fangs through the neck of the big-headed demon, landing a fatal blow.

Purple blood flowed out, and the victorious demon stomped on the corpse of his enemy and howled wildly.

Just as he lowered his head to enjoy the spoils, a black shadow shot towards him from behind. This devil who was good at jumping was shocked. He turned around and tried to escape, but the black shadow pounced on him and bit his hind legs directly.

Satan only manages to see predators at this point. It was a three-headed hellhound. This hellhound was still a small child, but the third bite of its head was somewhat shocking. After being bitten, the demon kicked its hind legs desperately, wanting to throw the little hellhound down. But no matter how he struggled, the hellhound did not loosen its grip. It just swayed in the air.

This demon took the stone from the ground and smashed it into the hellhound, but the hellhound chose this moment to loosen its grip. The little devil could not stop his attack in time and completely smashed his own foot with the stone.

The demon roared furiously and grabbed the hellhound, wanting to tear this thing in half. However, one of the heads actually inhaled a gust of cold air before his hands could reach out, almost freezing his hands.

After inhaling a breath of cold air, the hellhound jumped up, moved to the other side of the demon, and the three heads bit the demon.

The demon screamed in pain and tried to jump out of the battlefield, but a sense of paralysis crawled the first leg bitten, making it so stiff that it fell to the ground.

Seeing the demon fall to the ground, the hellhound rushed over excitedly, but this time was careless. The demon rolled on the ground and punched the hellhound that came towards him. The hellhound roared while flying due to the impact.

Not hurt, but sick! The hellhound stood up and groaned sadly.

Answering his sobs, a voice came from above. “OK okay . Fat Tiger, you did well! “

The injured demon stiffened and looked up at the sky only to see a larger demon flapping its wings and descending. He soon realized that he would not be able to escape.

That's Roy. Fat Tiger wagged his tail after he landed, rubbing himself at Roy's feet.

In the past few days, Roy had brought Fat Tiger out hunting to practice his fighting skills. Fat Tiger is a hell dog. He fought fearlessly, rushing without hesitation even if the demon or monster was bigger than him. However, he was still in his infancy and had not been able to solve the killing by himself many times.

Even so, Fat Tiger's additional combat skills were outstanding. He is a quality dog.

Roy crouched down and stroked Fat Tiger's head in praise. He then walked towards the injured demon, grabbed his hind legs, and smashed him to the ground twice, immediately killing him.

Along with the big-headed demon not far from there, Roy gets two prey. Roy saved one of their souls and gave the other to Fat Tiger.

Fat Tiger was no longer a puppy with a size of ten centimeters. He had now grown by about forty centimeters, and his muscles had also grown stronger. He has the power to fight and bite. His speed increased, but he still looked fat!

While Fat Tiger swallowed a soul, Roy gathered some burning black wood, piled it together, and called out Fat Tiger.

Fat Tiger came running. One of his mouths opened and spouted fire onto the wood, immediately lighting a fire. Roy used this fire to start grilling the meat.

Ever since he suffered from Fat Tiger, Roy had been eating cooked food whenever he wanted. It was an unintentional windfall. Previously, he had to go to the magma river to get a spark, but Fat Tiger was a portable match that only he needed to call.

Roy distributed some of the roasted demon meat to Fat Tiger. The three heads of Fat Tiger looked at Roy and barked three different voices of aw, woo, and woof together to express his gratitude before starting to eat.

Roy predicted Fat Tiger would not take long to reach the size he had originally set for him if Fat Tiger ate food and soul every day as he did now.

Roy's psychological goal for Fat Tiger is to be a fighting pet. After Fat Tiger mastered some fighting skills, Roy toyed with the idea of making Fat Tiger fight with him.

It is rare to see demons and dogs collaborating at the upper levels of the Abyss because demons usually operate individually and do not trust other demons at all. It was already predictable that the demons that Roy and Fat Tiger would face in the future would be completely unlucky …

For the past few days, Roy had been training Fat Tiger, but he did not stop exploring. He had left the nest he had found before and was already far from it.

The upper abyss was vast, and Roy's exploration was very different from other low-level demons. Strong demons usually drew an area and established it as their territory. They would prey and hunt in their territory and would not move unless expelled by a stronger demon.

Roy's explorations often take him to other demon territories, and he gets attacked. However, Roy was no longer worried because he had the Bloodlust skill and Fat Tiger helped him. Throughout his journey, he had killed all the demons that started the fight, including some powerful low-level demons.

Roy is now almost unmatched among low-level demons, and he doesn't need to rotate unless he's facing an opponent who is too big…

During his continuous exploration and progress, Roy was naturally rewarded. He had found three places with the magic formation altar of the Abyss Gate. Unlike what Roy imagined, this altar was not necessarily found in extinct volcanoes. Some of them are in the open field.

The three altars he found must have covered a large area nearby. As long as there was an altar, the demons and monsters nearby would run there from time to time, and then they would pass through the Gorge Gate.

Although he doesn't know who built the altar, Roy suspects that their true role isn't just to let the demons go to another world. The greater possibility is that they were designed for war. This altar is like a signal tower of a base station. As long as they sent out a signal, the demons around would receive it …

Other than the altar, Roy had covered thousands of kilometers in this upper Abyss. Up until now, he had never met a single mid-level demon, which confused Roy. Could it be that medium-level demons living in the lower abyss did not bother to appear, or was there something preventing them from coming at all?
