The Demon King Mode System
CHAPTER 104: THE COMING OF THE SHIP OF THE DEVIL

This tragic scene was witnessed by all the surviving pirates, making them simultaneously think ‘Mama, I want to go home!’

Too powerful. How can man be a match for the devil? Even Captain Ammand failed. Maybe only those priests and angels could kill the demon?

The ship, which had been crushed in two, began to sink slowly into the water. The pirates who fell into the water desperately swam away from the ship because they knew it would be too late for them to escape once the whirlpool of the sinking ship appeared.

Roy flies aboard and searches for the caster who cursed him. He did not know if the person was dead, but he had to get his medium.

Although the curse was too weak to be used against it, it was not a pleasant feeling to be cursed by others.

Most of these pirates were ordinary people, so as long as he could find a place with magic fluctuations, he would be able to find his caster or medium. Roy carefully senses the magic fluctuations, only to discover that one of them is slowly sinking to the bottom of the sea. Roy guesses that it might be the medium used to cast the curse, so he plunges into the sea.

Today, the mainstay of the pirates is still drowning. After Roy entered the sea, something could fall on his head at any time, but with the strength of his body, these objects could not pose a threat. He chased after the location of the magic fluctuations and immediately found a voodoo puppet that was slowly sinking.

It's very strange. It does not float in seawater but instead sinks. Roy.

“It's so ugly. What is it?” Roy was a little confused, but he stayed out of the sea and flew back into the sky.

Roy took the voodoo doll and tore it into pieces. Once the voodoo doll is out of the caster's control, he can safely destroy it without worry.

However, Roy then thought about the caster. When he destroyed another pirate ship, he remembered that zombie-like monster. He felt that the zombie-like monster was most likely also controlled by the casters who cursed it. Roy had no intention of letting this black witch-like person go.

Since he knew black magic, it meant that he also had magic fluctuations on him. Although Roy's sensing range for magic power was not great, these pirates had fallen into the water and would not be able to swim too far. Therefore, Roy flew over the sea and began to search.

Ammand's lucky. He was on the deck on the bow earlier. Due to an urgent turn, Roy does not directly hit him when his sailboat is destroyed, and Ammand is thrown into the sea.

But even so, he was still severely injured. His entire right leg was broken, and his entire body was covered in wounds. At this moment, he was holding onto a piece of wood and floating in the sea while panting.

Upon learning that Roy is flying low over the sea, Ammand soon realizes that Roy may be looking for him. The traces of black magic on him could not be hidden.

Knowing that he would definitely suffer a fate worse than death if he fell into Roy's hands, Ammand could only find a way to escape. He imitated another surviving pirate and desperately rowed away from the battlefield.

But he forgot one thing. As captain, his clothes were much better than any other pirate, and Roy found Ammand shortly afterwards. Not only did he see the identity of his captain, but he also found traces of magic power on him.

Roy did not bother chasing Ammand when he saw that he was running away. He opened his mouth and spat out an ice bomb at Ammand!

Rather than calling it an ice bomb, it was better to call it frozen air that was only the size of a fist. It spun violently as it flew extremely fast, leaving a trail of white mist in the air as it flew towards Ammand.

This is an improved version of Roy's ice breath. The principle is very simple. It was nothing more than compressing the scattered ice aura before spewing out.

Well. Indeed, it feels like spitting. Ho — Pui!

When he turned his head to look at the mass of frozen air coming in, Ammand felt despair. He knew that he was cursed this time!

However, just as Ammand's heart was like dying ashes, and Roy thought that he could kill the black magician, suddenly, there was an explosion on the surface of the sea. Waves splatter as large tentacles break from the water and get blocked between Roy and Ammand's frozen air masses!

The peng! The frozen mass of air exploded, and the powerful ice aura contained within it was immediately released. The huge tentacle blocked Roy's frozen air mass, so he had to endure the cold aura that erupted from it.

The black ice that filled the air instantly covered the tentacles, and even the waves it created turned into ice.

However, black ice did not last long in the tentacles before breaking. Although the tentacles did not look injured, the faintly painful roar of a savage beast came from under the sea.

“Kra-Kraken ?!”

Ammand. He recognized the tentacles at first glance. He dared to swear that he had never been so happy to see the tentacles of the Kraken …

Davy Jones has come…

As if to prove Ammand's words, the sea surface suddenly split apart, and a ferocious-looking giant ship broke through the surface. His speed was so fast that with the whusss, he emerged from the water and stood in front of everyone.

The hull is covered in seaweed, algae, and barnacles; the ragged sails; and the horns on the bow full of sharp teeth all indicate the identity of the ship!

The Flying Dutchman, the legendary battleship of the Devil of the Seas, Davy Jones!

The surviving pirates saw the battleship that had been drilled from the water with lifeless eyes. Normally, they might be afraid of the appearance of the Flying Dutchman, but they no longer had the strength to fear. Demons, lichs, and hellhounds had appeared, so it was no big deal to have another Ocean Devil…

Only Ammand feels strong hope, and he certainly knows why Davy Jones is here…

The Flying Dutchman's deck still had water flowing from it, but a group of strange creatures were already standing on the deck. The one leading them was the octopus-faced Davy Jones. She had a pipe in her mouth, and her small eyes stared intently at Roy in the air. The tentacle-like beard on his chin continued to wriggle.

When Roy saw Davy Jones, he immediately remembered the fish man he had driven out when he first entered this world. He was one of Davy Jones's subordinates.

The fish man came to find Cassandra's soul. After Roy throws him out, he's ready to be found by Davy Jones. However, he did not expect Davy Jones to never appear before him for two to three months.

It was clearly impossible for the fish man to not deliver his message. Roy is convinced that Davy Jones was the first to discover his whereabouts. But for a long time, Davy Jones acted as if he did not know anything, so he chose to close his eyes to Cassandra's.

Of course, this is a good thing. Roy doesn't want to experience anything unpleasant with Davy Jones when it's not necessary…

However, Roy now felt that he had guessed wrongly. Just as he was about to kill the caster, Davy Jones suddenly appeared.

Moreover, he brought the Kraken…

What does he want to do?
