REPUDIATION

A car drove by and stopped right in front of the big office. Someone in a neat suit came down and entered a branch office owned by his father in a hurry. He ignored all employees who paid respect to him.

Everyone who was there was confused to see one of the subsidiary owners of the company rushing towards the CEO room. Without knocking on the door, he immediately opened and entered to meet the CEO.

Looks like a woman with long hair, wearing work clothes that fit her body is looking at her laptop seriously. His shriveled forehead indicates that he is dizzy thinking about something.

“What brother came here?” Rani was shocked by her brother's arrival. It's not usually her brother comes at work hours like this.

“Someone I want to ask Rani.” Farel immediately sat on the guest sofa.

Rani immediately stops her work and sits face to face with her brother.” What do you want to ask?”

“Who is the father of the fetus that Lena conceived?” Ask Farel tho the point.

Rani widened her eyes in shock at his brother's question. Farel knows Rani is keeping secrets from her, looks surprised Rani's attitude and starts trying to act ordinary again.

“I don't understand brother.” Rani said a little nervously.

“I know you're hiding something.” Farel looked at his interlocutor seriously.

“I'm not hiding something.” Rani.

Farel kept staring coldly at his sister. Rani, who could not stand her brother's gaze, opened her voice. The look in her brother's eyes was as if a knife was ready to plunge into Rani's heart in a matter of seconds.

“Ok, then what does this have to do with you sister?” Rani tries to return her brother's gaze.

“Is he my son!?”

“Of course not, Lena is just sleeping with you! Rani said firmly while apologizing in her heart to Lena for saying things that were not true.

“Then if not me, who is responsible for that fetus!” Farel began to raise his voice.

“It's not brother's business!”

“Sorry you better leave, I'm busy. Much work to be done today.” Rani said as she stood up and returned to her chair.

Farel immediately came out of the room, angry that he did not get the answer he wanted. He thought that the fetus was his son. The door was closed making a loud noise and shocked Rani.

After Farel's departure, Rani tries to contact Lena. She had to ask for an explanation as to why her sister could find out if Lena was pregnant. Shortly after, someone picked up the phone from Rani.

Rani had not been able to express her point, someone who was across there sounded crying. Rani who heard that immediately hung up her phone and packed her things. He'll be meeting Lena at the apartment soon.

Not to forget he also gave news and told the events in his office to Lisa, and invited Lisa to meet Lena. He didn't want anything to happen to his friends and nephews.

Thirty minutes later, they both arrived at the apartment. The two rush in and look for Lena. While in Lena's room, the two friends immediately hugged Lena who was crying on the bed.

“I'm afraid.” Lena's body shook.

“Do not be afraid, we will both take care of you.” Lisa tried to calm down.

“I won't let Brother Farel touch you and our nephew, I promise Lena.” Rani wiped Lena's tears.

“Bagai.......what if he knows?”

“What if he takes them from me?”

“What if Sarah threatens me again?”

“Ssttt...... I'm sure my brother doesn't know Len.”

At once Lena was silent while holding her reddened cheeks, while Rani immediately glared her eyes at Lisa.

“I'm sorry, Lena.” Lisa said regretfully.

“I just want to wake you up. Listen Len, you're not alone here, there's both of us who will be with you.” Lisa's soft speech made Lena start to calm down.

“Iya Len, we will help you as much as we can. Rani reassured.

“Wait.... Did you say they were? Mean you? “ Lisa asked out of curiosity.

Lena smiled happily and took her ultrasound results.

“Look.” Lena gave it to her two best friends.

Rani and Lisa look at the paper, but they both don't understand, they just see a black and white abstract image there. Then Lena took the paper back and explained the meaning of the picture.

“What?” ask your two friends at the same time. Their mouths were wide open in surprise.

“So, you mean we not only have one nephew but three at a time? Rani asked in disbelief making Lena nod and smile.

“That's amazing Lena, well.I'll have three cute nieces.” Lisa is happy and hugs Lena.

“Mamah will also be happy to get three grandchildren at once.” Rani also hugs Lena.

“Len, I wonder why Brother Farel knows if you're pregnant? If you don't mind can you tell it?” Rani asked carefully, afraid that Lena was acting like that.

“Sure.” Lena smiled and started looking for a good sitting position.

Lena recounts whatever happened in the hospital when she met the husband and wife, including Sarah's threats and treatment of her.

Rani also told about the debate she had with Farel. The three of them were relieved that Farel still did not know about it.

“Badness, I'll give a little lesson to the attached grandmother.” Rani does not accept her best friend being treated like that. It shouldn't be the attached grandmother who was next to her sister but Lena was the one who deserved it more.

Then the three of them laughed together, as if what Lisa did was funny.

While Farel feels there is something that is kept secret by his sister and two friends, especially Lena. He knew when Lena lied, he would not see Farel's eyes when he spoke. He took the phone in his pocket and called someone.

“Halo Farel, don't you usually call me?” Say someone across the phone.

“I have a task for you, Danu.”

“Can't you treat me first?”

“I want you to find out about Elena Hadianti, give me any information she does. I want to know who the father of his fetus is.” Without answering his friend's questions.

“Who's Elena? And why do you want to know about her baby? Did you impregnate her?”

“Don't ask much, just do your job well.” Said Farel coldly.

“And send the information you got to my email immediately.” Farel said again.

“Ready do” said Danu sighed. This friend of his has always been that way, cold and stubborn.

Farel hangs up after talking to Danu, his detective and best friend. If the fetus is her and Lena's child, she's very happy because Lena didn't abort it. Without even smiling, he thought about it.
