The Delayed Happiness

Lena and her two best friends were gathered in the hall. Not only the three of them but almost all of their class students gathered. Today is the day all students look forward to. They all wore black uniforms with toga over their heads.

There were smiles of all students there, including Lena and her two best friends. He was looking forward to this day, as he was finally able to get his bachelor's degree.

The Rector entered the room and that meant the event was about to start. One by one their names were called forward to receive degrees and shake hands with the rector. The event went well and wisely.

After three hours, the graduation ceremony was over. Lena and her two best friends are out together. They immediately headed for the place where their parents were waiting.

“Congratulations ya dear, mommy equally papa proud of you.” Lisa's mother and father kissed her son's cheeks.

So even Rani's parents congratulated her son and gave flowers to the three of them.

“Lena congratulations yes and thank you for helping your aunt so you can graduate together.” Said Mama Lisa.

“Tante also want to thank you and congratulations on your graduation.” Said Rani's mother while hugging Lena.

Lena who was hugged was happy, because Rani's mother had been considered her own mother. Although both of his parents could not attend and see him graduate college, but he still felt happy.

Not feeling his tears fell, immediately he rubbed it so that his best friend and his two best friend's parents did not see.

“Congratulations yes Lena.” Someone came to him. He knew it was the father's voice from his fetus. As much as she tried not to cry. He stroked his stomach for a while and turned to smile towards Farel.

Rani sees the awkwardness between them and invites them to have lunch at Farel restaurant not far from their campus, to celebrate the graduation of their children.

The three friends agreed immediately because they were already hungry. Ten minutes later they reached Farel's restaurant. The restaurant just a week ago opened, visible from the many wreaths of congratulations from his colleagues.

“Please enter Sir, Mom. Our waiter will deliver you.” The manager of the restaurant invited them and appointed a waiter to deliver the Farel family.

Everyone followed the waiter who was heading for one room. It seems like the room has been prepared by the Rani family. A waiter brought a menu book after they sat in their seats.

“You guys order anything, it's free.” Farel spoke to his sister and two best friends.

“Thank you.” Say all three at the same time.

“I grilled chicken honey and grilled squid drink ice capucino.” Rani ordered her food.

“I gurame chili ijo, rice grilled anchovies, drink it guava juice.” Followed by Lisa.

“I grilled rib soup, and grilled shrimp drink avocado juice only.” The waiter recorded Lena's order.

“Just liken my order to him.” Show Farel to Lena.

Everyone in the chair was shocked, including Lena. They knew that Farel had an allergy to shrimp and other types of sea food. And now he's ordering the exact same order as Lena.

“What is no problem? You are allergic to ssea food, Farel.” Dad asked.

“Ya already.” Dad opened the menu and started ordering their food.

Shortly thereafter several maids delivered food to their desks. Everyone looked hungry for their food. After the waiter left, they immediately ate the food.

Lena ate her food voraciously, just as Farel also voraciously ate her food. Everyone at the table looked at the two of them in a daze, and thought that they both seemed to be cravings.

How not to think like that, Lena ate the grilled shrimp first, occasionally drank the avocado juice, then ate the grilled rib soup and then spent the avocado juice without remaining a bit. It was also done by Farel in the exact same order as Lena.

Sometimes the two smile back at each other. Lena is happy tonight, because she and Farel can eat together, even with her family.

Rani who saw the behavior of her best friend and brother just shook her head and smiled. He knew that his niece-to-be wanted to be with Mommy and his Daddy.

After lunch, they immediately returned to their cars. But just as Farel stepped out, he groaned and scratched his body which began to look red bumps. Farel and Sarah's parents immediately took her to a nearby hospital.

“Hahahaha The laughter of his brother Farel.

“That's your sister why was laughed at?” Lisa hits Rani on the head.

“Aduh... Pain Lisa.” Rani whining.

“Rani, is your sister okay? I'm a little worried about him.” Lena looked at Rani.

“It's okay, you don't have to worry about him. Aunty knows this must be your will, right?” rani asked Lena's fetus.

“What do you mean Ran?” Lisa looked at Rani in confusion.

“You didn't notice earlier in the restaurant? Lena and Brother Farel were like having an inner bond.”

“Iya. Looks like our niece is naughty to tease her father.” Lisa laughed after talking to Lena's stomach.

Lena rolled her eyes off guard at these two best friends. He immediately moved from that place to the parked car. Soon his two friends caught up with him in the car.

Rani starts driving to their apartment. Lena who was easily exhausted also slept in the car.

Meanwhile, in the hospital, Farel's mother felt compassion for her son who slept in the room. Farel fell asleep after being sedated by a doctor.

Sarah his wife could not accompany him, the reason could not smell the drugs in the hospital. Though her in-laws knew that it was only Sarah's reason not to accompany her husband and go shopping in the mall spending her husband's money.

“Is this a reply from you my grandson?” Mother Farel said in her mind.

The granddaughter in question is certainly not from Sarah but Lena. He had already spoken to Lena. At first Lena did not want to confess, but finally she told Farel's mother that she was pregnant with her grandchild.

Lena pleads with him so that Farel doesn't know her. He does not want to be a destroyer of other people's relationships. Farel's mother agreed to Lena's wishes and apologized to her for her son's behavior.

Farel's mother also promised to love her granddaughter when she was born. He hopes that someday Lena will allow him to meet her granddaughter.
