The Delayed Happiness

DISTRACTIONS

Farel woke up when the phone rang. He saw a wall clock showing at 10 a.m. He recalls that after hearing Sarah's confession, he went to the bar late at night.

Smelled of alcohol on his body, he seemed to be drinking a lot of alcohol in the bar. Luckily the bar was close to his hotel, so he could return to the hotel safely.

Farel contacted his secretary to inform him that he would not be entering work today. He wants all his business canceled. After contacting his secretary and the affairs of the office were sorted out, he immediately headed to his parents' house where he and Sarah lived. He has to solve his problem with Sarah today.

“Farel you're home? Have you eaten nak?” Ask Mama Farel after seeing her son come into the house.

“What happened something in the office?” Ask papa Farel.

Both of Farel's parents had just arrived from a trip abroad. Rani came last night from the hospital where Lena was. They were confused by the sudden arrival of Farel with faces holding back anger. Rani who was a child with her brother was sure something would happen at home tonight.

“I've had breakfast at the hotel Ma. In the office there are also no problems, everything runs smoothly.” It appears Farel is trying to temper his anger.

“Then why is your face like that sis?”

“Where is it?”

“It looks like he's sleeping sister.”

“Please call Sarah. There's something I want to tell you all, including Sarah.”

Rani nodded and went towards Sarah and Farel's room. He knocked on the room, and soon the door opened. Rani says that Farel wants to talk to all of them. Sarah who knew nothing immediately followed Rani to the room where they had gathered.

Sarah was surprised to see that not only the house people gathered, but her parents were there as well. He was confused and scared, because it seemed like there was a problem that concerned him. On the way to his house Farel had contacted Sarah's parents to come to his house.

“Farel, what is it exactly? Why did you tell us to come here?” Sarah's father asked.

“Sarah, can you explain about this.” Farel began to press the tape. Sarah's voice spoke of her content.

“Da...Where did you get it?” Sarah asked nervously.

“You don't need to know where I got it. You just need to explain about your recognition that.” Said Farel who had been holding back his anger from earlier.

“Sarah is it all true?” Mama Farel asked.

“Jawab Sarah!” Sarah's father snapped.

“Why?! You can't answer our questions!” Farel started to anger her.

“You must lie to my family, what is my family's fault with you, so dare you lie to my family!” Rani yells at Sarah.

“Yes, all the recordings are true. The fetus I was carrying was not Farel's son!” Shouting Sarah.

“Why did you do it Sarah. What is wrong Farel?” Mama Farel started crying in my arms.

“All because of Lena, I hate her so much. He took Farel from me!” Sarah shouted in anger.

“She was the woman who ruined my happiness and snatched the one I loved that was you Farel.” Sarah spoke with anger.

Plaaaaackdick...... A slap landed right on Sarah's right cheek.

“Do not you ever vilify my best friend. Because of you, my best friend has to endure everything alone!!!” Rani was angry.

Sarah who was treated like that could only cry holding her right cheek which started to turn red, she approached Farel and kowtowed to him.

“I'm sorry Farel. I did this because I just wanted to be with you.” Sarah crying.

“No. I don't want to divorce you Farel.”

“I never loved you. I married you because of the baby you were born with.”

“Give me a chance to fix it. I'll be a good wife to you, Farel.” Sarah pleaded with tears.

“Tomorrow I'll take care of everything and make sure you sign the letter. One more thing, make sure if today you lift your feet from this house. I don't want to see you in this house again.” Farel said back.

“You won't be able to be with Elena, Farel. You know for sure it's.” Sarah shouted back.

“Fareel...!” Sarah screamed and sat down.

Farel passed by without hearing Sarah's words and without saying goodbye to all there. Today he wants to be alone. Farel drives a car to a beautiful park where he meets Lena.

While both of Sarah's parents were embarrassed by Farel's family, he said goodbye and brought Sarah home. They will not hinder Farel's willingness to divorce, because it is all a mistake that Sarah must bear.

At night Farel was at a bar owned by his friend Danu. He ordered a lot of drinks to get rid of his messy thoughts. Danu who saw could only shut up and obey Farel's will. He knew that Farel was really messed up today.

“Hai handsome, want me to accompany?”

Such were the words Farel had heard. But Farel immediately expelled anyone who approached him. Tonight he just wants to be alone. It is undeniable, if he needs Lena to be on his side now.

He remembered that if he had a problem, Lena was always with him. It is he who makes himself always smile happily even though there are problems faced. He does not deny that lately he always misses Lena.

“Go, don't disturb him.” Danu said to the women of the night who seduced Farel. The women immediately went back to their place.

At the hospital Lena is, Lisa faithfully accompanied Lena who was lying with an infusion tube on her body. Lisa hopes that Lena quickly wakes up and meets her three handsome and beautiful babies.

“Len wake. I missed you.”

“Do you not want to see your three babies?”

“Did you not miss them?”

“We all miss you Len.” Lisa hopes Lena can hear her voice and finally wakes up.

Lisa cried looking at Lena lying helplessly. He didn't know if Lena would hear what she was saying. He saw Lena crying out her tears. Lisa wiped Lena's tears with the tissue near her.

He always prayed Lena would get well and wake up from her coma. But she was afraid that if what the doctor said came true, that Lena would forget all the people who had been part of her life.

“Sssst... Don't cry.”

“I'm sorry Lena, forcing you to wake up.”

“You must have missed all three of your babies.”

“They are all handsome and beautiful.”

“Doctor said, the three of them are healthy. So you don't worry. We will take care of your three babies.”

“I hope you wake up soon from your sleep Lena.” Lisa smiled sadly at Lena.

Lisa immediately moved towards the sofa provided in the room. Every night he's in charge of looking after Lena as long as her legs haven't healed. Soon, Lisa falls asleep and enters her dream.

Lena heard all Lisa said. She was eager to meet her three babies. He misses his baby. Lena wants to answer all of Lisa's questions, but what power her body can not move as if dead and her mouth can not say words. Lena could only cry in her bed.
