THE CRUELTY OF MY PARALYZED HUSBAND

THE CRUELTY OF MY PARALYZED HUSBAND
28. The Play of the Son-in-law

Asya spent half of the day chatting with her father and sister. Although sometimes there are questions that make Asya have to answer with lies, but Asya does not think too much about it. For him to see the faces of his sister and father now was enough to make him feel relieved.

"Even after this I die in the hands of my husband or in-laws, there will be no regrets that I bring," Asya said in a resigned heart.

They talked at length, from the news to the things that happened after Asya left with her husband.

"Mother to sometimes be confused, son. Where are you going to go? Want to say what the same neighbors sometimes nanyain," said Asya's father.

"Sir, not clear. Asya's departure because of the marriage Asya lived. Tell Asya to come with her husband" she replied lightly.

"That's exactly what you can't answer, son. What will they say when this father's daughter gets married but no one is invited" he explained.

Asya fell silent, so she remembered how she and Fagan married without the presence of family members. They all closed all access for the Asya family in the marriage. Even Asya's father and sister knew that Asya got married after the reception was over and Asya gave the news back then.

"Boy knows, right? Rich what did this all start with? Everything was chaotic at that time, rejecting and opposing it felt like I would not be able to do it. So, now Asya can only do what Asya can, sir. Asya was already a part of that family with all the risks." Asya explained without saying what really happened in the house.

There was a feeling that Asya's father couldn't explain back then. As a parent, of course there is an inner bond that occurs between him and the princess. It's just because Asya closed the situation tightly, so Asya's father did not think much about what could happen.

"They must have seen you so good at taking care of Mr. Fagan. So they can easily accept you?" ask Asya's father.

Asya just commented a smile. I don't know what he was thinking, but hearing the conclusion from the father made Asya feel relieved. It turned out that there was a reason that could keep his feet standing facing everything.

"I don't think rich, Ma'am. I thought the opposite, instead" said Zalina trying to be honest.

Asya looked at her sister filled with worry, what Zalina thought was the truth. But again Asya did not want to make things chaotic. Because it will also affect his life as the son-in-law of the Elvander family there.

"If they think of you, surely you'll be in the media. Family is always a highlight. Why are you on the news just after marriage?" chirps Zalina.

"You know what I look like? Do you think I deserve to be on display in the media?" Asya rebuked loudly. "I don't want to be a laughing stock, Zalina. That's how my husband protects his wife" Asya told Fagan.

That firm and hard sentence made Zalina pensive, she felt guilty for having rebuked her brother with a very bad opinion.

"Sorry, Ma'am." Zalina apologized after realizing what she said was hurting her brother. "But I don't believe what you're saying. I feel like there is something you are deliberately hiding from me and my father" he continued in his heart.

The girl had her own thoughts that were not the same as her father. Some of Asya's gestures made Zalina understand that what she said was not all true. His relationship with Asya is not a friendly relationship that is just greeting, Zalina feels the blood relationship that she and Asya have can really make her have thoughts that she is still hiding.

Until finally Asya's phone rings, Fagan tells him that he and Abrisam will be there soon. They were already on their way and asked Asya to prepare to be picked up.

"It seems I have to be a beberes," Asya said.

"Your husband called?" ask father.

"Yes, Sir. He will be there soon" replied Asya without looking at her father.

In fact, Asya's mood had begun to change after her argument with Zalina and also after hearing Fagan's voice. He felt like he was going to go back to hell and leave the heaven he had missed.

Shortly afterwards, the sound of a car stopped in front of the house and Asya peeked out from behind the window curtain of her room. She knew it was her husband's car. He immediately rushed out because he did not want to wait for Fagan to scream or get angry.

He came out with quick footsteps while carrying the items he had already prepared. Suddenly, someone knocked on the door of the house.

"Abrisam," shouts Asya guessing.

He opened the door and Fagan was behind it.

"Why go down, Tu ... Tu ...," Asya said worriedly.

"Dear, I missed you. Splitting up last night makes me want to pick you up immediately," interrupted Fagan when Asya would call him Mister. "Where's the father-in-law?" ask him pleasantries.

Asya became very confused, she did not understand what Fagan was doing. What Asya knows for sure is that her husband is currently in a show.

"Can I come in?" asked Fagan because Asya never switched to give him the way.

"Te .. of course," said Asya.

When Fagan entered, Zalina and her father then emerged from within. They looked silent and bowed respectfully to Fagan. Remembering when they met was always in a stressful state.

"How are you, sir?" asked Fagan very kindly.

"Ah, ba ... good, our news is good, sir," replied Asya's father.

"I'm your son-in-law, sir. Why call me Master?" sahut Fagan's.

"Ma .. sorry, Tu .. ah, sorry, son." Asya's father is still very gagu.

Fagan commented on the very different smile she was so sweet and completely far from being horrible.

"There was a note from my mother. He purposely prepared this when I said that I was going to pick Asya up today" Fagan said, pointing out some of the paper bags he was carrying.

Abrisam immediately gave it to Zalina. "Thank you, sir," Zalina said as soon as she received it from Fagan.

"No need to thank you, really. Isn't this common when a daughter-in-law visits her in-laws." Fagan.

After meaningless pleasantries, Fagan finally discussed about the sacrifice of the house he wanted. He asks Abrisam to take care of everything and reassures Asya's father that what he does is an obligation as a daughter-in-law. Asya's father could not resist and he complied after Fagan convinced himself.

"Did the Big Madam know about this plan of yours, sir?" ask Asya after they are in the car to go home.

"You scared?" fagan said in a mocking tone.
