THE CRUELTY OF MY PARALYZED HUSBAND

THE CRUELTY OF MY PARALYZED HUSBAND
26. A Betrayed Heart

"Tell my father-in-law if I go home straight away, I'll pick you up after you tell me tomorrow" Fagan said after the kiss.

Asya nodded her head and immediately rushed out of her car. He rubbed his wet lips with his heart still beating fast. Asya did not understand what she was feeling. However, the situation now is not easy for Asya. He was tossed around with endless feelings.

"What's he doing?" Asya stopped at the door of her father's house waiting for Fagan's car to leave.

After sounding the car away, Asya crept tightly into his chest. She tried to calm herself down after two consecutive kisses her husband gave her. Fagan's cold, haughty and victorious attitude was already more than five hours unseen.

"Mak Asya" cried Zalina from inside the house.

The girl heard the sound of a car stopping in front of her house. So that he first knew if his brother turned out to be home. The brothers immediately hugged each other tightly. There were so many questions in Zalina's mind because her brother had not been contacted at all.

"Come in, Mommy." Zalina led her sister in. "Well, you've changed a lot" she said looking at the branded clothes her brother knew.

"What?" ask Asya.

"Everything, Ma'am. You really are the wife of a rich man" Zalina replied innocently.

"Can you, I'm asleep, okay?" tanya Asya switched the conversation.

"Udah, Ma'am. I coughed from a week ago. The strength of the medicine he took there was his sleeping pills, so you always sleep if you take medicine" explained Zalina.

Hearing the news about his father, made Asya's heart become filled. He felt very guilty about what happened to his father. Moreover, a few days ago, she heard that her father went to her husband's company.

"Lin, what is my father?" ask Asya.

"Well, Ma'am. That's for sure, since Mbak Asya was brought along by Mr. Fagan's aide, we never saw each other again. After that we lost contact, until finally someone came and said that Mbak Asya with Pak Fagan again honeymoon abroad," explained Zaline.

Asya remained silent, she did not understand what her sister was saying. Who came to explain the situation, can not even guess who the person by Asya.

"Sir," Zalina called to see her brother daydreaming.

"Oh, yes, ma'am .. honeymoon," said Asya had to justify the wrong reasons.

Zalina squinted her eyes and made a frown on her forehead. He caught a suspicious tip from his brother.

"Why, Ma'am? How did gagu answer? Is there something Asya's hiding?" ask Zalina.

"No, really, Lin. I'm ordinary," answered Asya briefly.

Just as Asya was about to move into the room, Zalina had already restrained her brother with another question.

"Your husband isn't coming, Ma'am? You were driven by the same driver, huh? How are you, like, nights?" cecar Zalina is curious.

Asya set her breath, she was confused as to what to answer. The message Fagan gave echoed in his ears now. So very carefully Asya had to make Zalina believe in what she and Fagan had arranged.

His eyes twitched saying all those false sentences, Asya lied to his sister for the smooth running of things. The story Asya tells is an alibi to keep him and Fagan safe.

"Why didn't the family let us come when you got married, Ma'am? I thought you were tortured as they were. It turns out you're happy" Zalina said.

"You don't have to worry about me, Lin. I'm fine, really. As you see now," Asya replied, not daring to look into his sister's eyes.

Asya continued her footsteps into the father's room. He wanted to quickly see the man. However, he could not deal with it continuously. Asya was afraid of being caught because Zalina could usually guess if she was lying.

"Father," said Asya, seeing her father lying down.

The man appears thinner than the last time they met before Asya was picked up by Elvander's family driver.

"Father" said Asha and sat down on the edge of the bed where her father lay.

Her tears were breaking, the guilt and longing she felt felt so stifling her chest as a child. Asya felt toyed with the situation because of the many prohibitions that Fagan gave him. All the threats that the man made were always about his family, so with great force, Asya had to obey what Fagan wanted if he did not want his family to be touched by the man's cold hands.

After a while in her father's room, Asya came out and sat on the rickety sofa of the worn-out living room.

"Sir, you're not happy, are you? You're just a show?" ask Zalina.

"What are you talking about, anyway? Not really. I'm fine," Asya lied.

"From the beginning they were not good, ma'am. They are understanding and impressed to take advantage of the state of Mbak Asya." Zalina explained.

"Everything changed, Lin. I'm fine, after this everything will be fine. Anyway, I'm here now." Asya diverted the conversation.

The discomfort was seen once on Asya, so Zalina immediately realized that what her brother was trying to explain was not the real thing.

"No, Ma'am. You're not okay, something's happened to you, I can see that and I promise I'll find out what it is" Zalina said in her heart.

Last night in his own house also did not necessarily make Asya feel comfortable. He had lied to Zalina from coming to make her heart unsettled. He said it was almost closed, but suddenly Asya's phone showed a notification of incoming messages. The girl grabbed the phone her husband gave her and immediately opened it.

"Ah, he just arrived" Asya said after reading the contents of the message that Fagan sent.

Without him noticing, a smile puffed up on his lips. I don't know what made that happen, but Asya was so changed after two consecutive kisses rained down on her lips.

"Here, don't be stupid. It's not what you imagined. That monster is still a monster," Asya murmured in his heart.

Asya was well aware, what she felt now was indeed something she did not expect. Even the caci maki that Fagan often did to him had not disappeared from his mind at all, but still felt different.

"Oh my God, don't let my heart open to that man. I can't fall in love with her or things will get more complicated and difficult." Asya announced her request in closed eyes.

His chest was beating fast and Asya felt he could not accept the suspicion of various kinds by his own sister. The desire to protect Fagan just grew. Asya's heart betrayed the body of the girl who continued to get in pain.
