The Cruel Fate

The Cruel Fate
Part 4.1

A waiter came to the room occupied by Sandira in a hurry –. The waiter rushed in and whispered something to Smith. Smith glanced at Sandira who looked confused then rushed away leaving Sandira alone.

" What's up ? Why is he glancing at me like that ?" sandira said inwardly as she stared at Smith's increasingly distant back.

Smith rushed to the kitchen and saw the waiter lying on the floor.

" He ate the porridge and then fell and died. I thought it might be food poisoning, " said one of the waiters, pointing to the porridge on the table to make Smith realize something.

Smith ordered some of his servants to take care of the dead man's meal. Smith then called someone.

" Something seems wrong here. Can you come and investigate. I want you to check something, " Smith said on the phone and hung up.

Without Smith realizing it, a mysterious person who was hiding from where he was standing was visibly upset that his plan to kill Sandira had failed. Smith rushed to the room occupied by Sandira.

"Could it be that the girl had such important information that it made someone want to kill her? Or maybe they just want to get rid of it because it's no longer useful ?" smith said in his heart as he looked at Sandira who was in front of him.

Smith sat down on the bed beside Sandira to make Sandira look at him with a look of dislike.

"A servant died because he ate the porridge that was to be given to you. It's possible that someone deliberately poisoned the porridge and the target was you. Why do they want to kill you ? Could it have something to do with my grandfather's typical ? Do you still not want to tell me who told you to do that to my grandfather ? Maybe they want to get rid of you in order to keep you quiet for – long ?" smith said in succession.

Sandira nodded at Smith's words. " They want to kill me after I follow what they want ? They want to make me right – completely speechless , huh ? They don't trust me at all? Que! How is Que now ? They didn't do anything to her, did they ?" sandira said in a troubled heart.

Realizing that, Sandira looked at Smith seriously. " Can you protect my sister ? If I give you important information, can you protect my sister and make sure she's good – is fine ?" sandira said that made

Smith was surprised by Sandira's words. " Could you be threatened with using your sister ? " ask Smith who was answered by a serious look from Sandira.

" Alright, will I make sure your sister will be safe and good – is fine. I'll send people to guard it clandestinely – hide but if the information you provide is indeed accurate. But, if it doesn't. I'll make sure you and your sister can't breathe any more air" Smith said.

" I got it. I'll make sure this information is accurate because I heard it myself. Your grandfather will be killed tomorrow night for medical reasons. So, you should be vigilant and be careful – hearts, "said Sandira.

" What ?! Where did you know that ? Who did it ?" smith said with a worried tone.

" The doctor who examined me at that time planned to do it. I heard it myself, "said Sandira who made Smith even more wide-eyed.

" How can I trust you?! Tell me, who told you to try and kill my grandfather ?" smith said that looks start to get emotional.

" How can you not know ? Aren't you his accomplice?" smith said in a high tone. Sandira looked at Smith with a wounded look.

" If I say I'm not the perpetrator of your grandfather's attempted murder, do you trust me ?" said Sandira who made Smith wide open to hear it.

" If not you, then who ? How can I believe that all the evidence points to you ? Do you think I'm stupid ? You want me to trust you if you're not the killer? Huh!" smith said by making – gebu accompanied by emotional overflow. Sandira breathed.

" If that's what you believe, yes. Let's just say I was the culprit. Most importantly remember your promise to guarantee my sister will be good – fine, " said Sandira.

Smith smiled faintly at Sandira's words. " Both I guarantee his safety but that doesn't mean I'll forgive you and let you go just like that for putting my grandfather in a coma! " said Smith then left Sandira angrily.

" That's why I haven't talked all this time. It's free to tell the truth if no one believes my words, "Sandira said in her heart.

Flashbacks, flashbacks,

Before the ambulance arrived, a man wearing a black mask threatened Sandira.

" Silence and accept your fate! If you tell me what really happened. I'll make sure your brother is the bet!" said the masked man.

....Sandira nodded in understanding and looked at Lory who was lying covered in blood before him.
