The Cruel Fate

The Cruel Fate
Part 8.2

Sandira and Smith sat in silence, turning their faces to each other.

Not without reason, but since the incident is quite surprising it makes Smith always misbehaved when dealing with Sandira.

While Sandira tried to avoid Smith because he did not know what to behave like.

Seeing the scenery in front of him made John feel very uncomfortable.

"Sandira, aren't you going to tell me the chronology of what happened back then ?" john tried to melt the atmosphere.

Sandira looked at John then sighed and started telling stories.

Flashbacks, flashbacks,

Sandira walks in the middle of the night because today Sandira works overtime at the factory where she works.

To unwind, Sandira decides to take a short break behind her subscription bakery.

Sandira doesn't care if the place is a place rarely passed by people who pass by without caring if she is a girl and it's already midnight.

Sandira walks down a dark hallway and then grabs her cell phone intending to contact Que because she knows that Que is on holiday and their time is also far different.

If it is here at midnight then in the Country that Que occupies it is still day. Sandira chatted with Que without realizing that there was a crime nearby.

Sandira and Que's conversation came to a halt when Sandira saw a tall, masked man staring intently at Sandira.

" Que, brother will call you later. Sister sleepy and want to sleep, "said Sandira then rush – to hang up his phone and rush to leave the place.

However, just a step Sandira would step away the tall man stopped his steps.

Sandira's eyes widened when she saw not far behind the tall man that there was someone covered in blood.

The man pulled Sandira to follow him then threw Sandira right in front of Lory who was groaning a little in pain.

The tall man then grabbed Sandira's bag and photographed Sandira's identity.

I don't know what the tall man did with his cell phone because shortly after that the tall man already knew all the information about Sandira.

" Orphan, the only – of his family is a sister who studied abroad, huh? that's because of the scholarship, " said the tall man then took a knife covered in blood and then put the knife into the hands of Sandira.

" Silence and accept your fate! If you tell me what really happened. I'll make sure your brother is the bet!" the tall man said to Sandira.

Because it is still very afraid of the threat and circumstances around it.

Sandira nodded her head in understanding. A moment later, Sandira realized that the knife in her hand was a knife that was used to stab the man lying before her.

Seeing the tall man wearing gloves, Sandira realized that this would make him a perpetrator who hurt the man before her.

Little by little Sandira realized what was going to happen to her, causing her to tremble and tears to start flowing down her cheeks.

Seeing Sandira's reaction, the tall man smiled cynically then left Sandira just like that.

Moments after the ambulance arrived, the police came because the ambulance saw the condition of the patient who was stabbed and Sandira who was still holding a knife covered in blood.

Soon, the police arrive and arrest Sandira.

Because Sandira who only fell silent and did not answer anything let alone deny the allegations made Sandira became the strongest perpetrator for the attempted murder.

Moreover, only Sandira's fingerprints were found at the location.

End flashback.

John and Smith glanced at each other when they heard Sandira's story.

They do not think that Sandira is just a stranger who was made a scapegoat for the incident that happened to Lory.

Smith felt more guilty especially early – Sandira came here Smith did not treat him as a human.

" So, you're just a guy who happened to pass by and can be said you're the only – eyewitness?" said John who answered a nod of the head by Sandira.

" Why didn't you say it from the beginning ?" smith felt very guilty.

" If I say it and tell it from the beginning, do you believe it? " said Sandira who made Smith bow his head.

" Maybe not, but maybe I'll double-check it early. I'll also check the call numbers at the hospital. If what you're saying is true, your number must be on their call, " Smith said.

" But if I say it and you don't trust me. You may be able to get information and check it out but you don't guarantee my sister's safety, do you? So, I'm waiting for an opportunity for someone to trust all my stories because in this case life is at stake. I need trust so that it will guarantee my sister's safety, she's the only – of my family left. You must understand how I feel because you have only one family left, too" Sandira said.

" I'm sorry, " said Smith.

" So, because everything is getting clearer. Do you know , think – thinks the clue that lets us know who did it?" said John. Sandira nodded her head.

" At that location, there is a hidden CCTV "Sandira explained.

" CCTV ?" john and Smith at the same time.

" Yes CCTV, I pass by this place almost every day. So, I know this place very well. Not far from here is a bakery. Or rather the location of the incident was behind my subscription bakery. The owner is an old grandfather. Behind the bakery was an old antique car that was no longer used but it was very historic for the grandfather of the store owner. So, a month before the store owner's grandfather returned to the village. He asked me to accompany him to buy a CCTV that could not be known with just one look. CCTV is very small and installed hidden behind the bakery. CCTV was intended to monitor the historic car because the grandfather of the store owner intended to check the state of the car occasionally. I think the shopkeeper's grandfather planned to return to the village for 6 months and couldn't bring his historic antique car so he bought CCTVs to watch him. Now it's likely that the shopkeeper's grandfather is still in his village, "Sandira explained.

" But why didn't the police say anything about the car parked near this location ? Aren't they thinking of checking the black box in this car? Is not the black box in the car can be made as accurate evidence? " said John curious.

Sandira smiled faintly at John's words.

" Maybe because this car does not look like a car that is still in use. Maybe the police already know if this car is just a junk car that does not have a black box or even they do not want to be too dizzy to check it. Maybe the police think there's enough evidence so don't look for any other evidence. I don't deny the accusations they've made so they might think this is enough evidence and not have to examine it further to find out who the real culprit is because all the evidence points to me, " said Sandira.

John and Smith glanced at each other. " So you're saying this car doesn't have a black box so the police don't include this problem or any evidence that might be in this car? " said Smith who was answered with a nod of the head by Sandira.

" If so, I hope that the hidden CCTV will produce accurate evidence and can clear your name and find out who is the real culprit behind all these events, " smith then invited Sandira to meet the grandfather of the bakery owner in his village.
