The Crack of a Glass
Bonchap 10

While waiting for an invitation, Rissa chose to chat casually with some fellow lecturers.

Until the vibration of his phone forced him to stop his chatter for a moment and reached into his bag.

When staring at the contact who called, he also asked for permission and said goodbye to friends who were his profession.

After a little distance, he answered a call from Yoga.

"Yes hello ..."

"Where are you? I'm at the campus gate" asked Yoga.

"Just wait there, and I'll be there" said Rissa as she walked down the stairs.

"All right," Yoga replied and then decided to call.

As soon as the call was cut off, Rissa further accelerated her pace towards the campus gate then waved her hand towards Yoga.

The man's smile instantly expanded looking at him from a distance.

"Please don't show me that smile" Rissa murmured. "A "smile that can make every woman melt. Make salting just."

"Sorry .. has kept you waiting" Rissa said, staring at her phone screen. "It's four in the afternoon."

"It's okay, besides I haven't been long," said Yoga then opened the car door.

Shortly after the two sat in the car, Yoga glanced at him for a moment and said, "You don't want to go to one of the nearby beaches. Enjoy the sunset."

"God, I haven't seen the sunset in a long time since I locked myself up" Rissa replied with a smile.

"Then, I let your parents know first, because we're going home at night" Yoga said.

Rissa only nodded slowly at once agreeing. Before driving, Yoga first contacted Rissa's parents to ask permission if she and Rissa would return home a little late.

After getting approval from Rissa's parents, then Yoga began to drive the vehicle to the destination.

Upon arrival at the destination, Yoga invites Rissa to the place in question. Both of them stepped towards the stretch of white sand that stretches along the beach.

"I'ts so beautiful" muttered Rissa shortly after reaching the beach.

Close your eyes while breathing deep air. Feel the wind that blows all over his body to make his long hair waving.

For a moment both of them remained in place while hearing the distinctive sound of the roar of the waves accompanied by the sound of the wind.

Yoga glanced at Rissa who was still at home closing her eyes. The twilight light that illuminated the beautiful face of the crossbred girl seemed to hypnotize her.

"Do you love the view?" whispered Yoga with a thin smile.

"Yes," Rissa replied and opened her eyes. "I'm planning on going on vacation to the Maldives after the holidays."

"You mean Maldives Maldives island ...? Wow ... I know that the island is one of the most beautiful islands in the world and one of the favorite places for honeymoon" explained Yoga.

"Hm." While nodding Rissa turned to look at the face of Yoga who had been staring at her since.

Instantly the eyes of the two met each other were glued to each other until Rissa quickly lowered her head as if she was not strong looking at the handsome face of the man who was standing next to her.

"Gosh, why am I so nervous?" his mind was holding his chest.

"What's wrong?" tanya Yoga with a smile still on her lips.

"Nothing," whispered Rissa then slowly sitting herself on the sand while turning her gaze to the western horizon.

A second later Yoga sat beside him. The silence was re-created. Yoga finally reopened its voice.

"Rissa ...?"

"I'm sorry if my question offended you" Yoga said.

With the eyebrows intertwined, Rissa glanced at Yoga. "What do you want to ask? Just ask."

"Are you not interested in a serious relationship with someone anymore? Or have a family? I mean married?" ask Yoga to the point but in a slow tone.

Rissa shook her head at the question from Yoga and smiled thinly. He also breathed slowly.

"You think?" ask her back with a clean sliver.

"If there is someone who truly loves you regardless of your dark past, would you accept it? Not just loving but really seriously wanting to marry you, are you going to take it?" cecar Yoga with a serious face.

Again Rissa shook her head then slowly looked at her with teary eyes, then smiled forcefully.

"Yoga .." he said. "No man will ever truly love me after knowing my dark past. Especially if he knows I've been spun," continued Rissa.

Her tears began to drip from her beautiful eyelids. "It's not just that, if the guy knew I was mentally ill, he would definitely refuse maybe even away from me" Rissa said.

"I'd better stay single for life. I'm afraid that man will bring up my past in case of any conflict in our relationship. And it's very painful" said Rissa, wiping her tears.

"Rissa ..." hissed Yoga then slowly clasped the girl's clasped fingers.

"What if the man who truly loves you and wants to marry you is the man who is currently holding your hand?" tanya Yoga really.

With a frontal speech uttered from the Psychologist's lips, Rissa looked up at him and shook her head in disbelief.

"Did I hear wrong?" rissa whispered in disbelief.

"No, I mean it" said Yoga still clasping his fingers.

"Do you really love me sincerely? Or just because I sympathize with you?" search Rissa with teary eyes.

For a moment Yoga shook his eyes at the girl's hazel bead deeply with a serious face.

"Look at my eyes deeply .. Is there a lie in it? I'm serious about what I say" said Yoga.

"What about Doctor Syakila? Aren't you guys in a serious relationship?" Rissa asked back.

Yoga sighed hearing the question from the girl who was as if she was still not convinced by the expression of her heart.

"Rissa .. Syakila and I are in a relationship but only friends. Honestly, I have liked it. But her attitude, which tends to keep her distance and avoids me, makes me undo my intention to express my feelings to her."

"Until you are present in my life. Being my patient and friend."

Yoga paused his speech for a moment while taking a deep breath and then exhaling it slowly.

"Rissa .. At first I felt sympathy for you. But as time went on because we were always together, unknowingly the love began to grow in my heart. We made friends two years ago. I've harbored these feelings for you for a long time."

"Yoga .." said Rissa softly while looking down.

"I've felt a deep sense of disappointment and I don't want that to happen again. Today I dare to express my feelings to you after a long time I have harbored them" Yoga concluded.

"But I've been tainted, victim of abuse and once mentally ill. Aren't you disgusted and ashamed to love a girl like me?" rissa asked while crying.

"No .. I accept you for who you are. Not out of sympathy or sympathy. But I really love you sincerely and want to make you my wife. Will you accept me?" ask Yoga with hope.

There was no reply from Rissa but only the sound of crying heard from the girl while bowed. Seeing Rissa like that, Yoga slightly approached then hugged her.

"Clarissa Saraswati Imanuel .. as dark, as black and as bitter as any of your past, I don't care. It all happened not because you wanted it to but it was just an accident. I accept you for who you are at the moment. Never feel like you don't deserve to be loved or married by me" whispered Yoga as she stroked Rissa's long hair.

Again ... There was no answer from Rissa but her crying became more and more. He was not expecting but at the same time very moved to hear all the sincere expressions of Yoga.

He did not expect at all if the man who was hugging him at this time really loved him.

"Oh my God .. I'm like dreaming," Rissa's inner self with a whimper in the psychologist's arms.
