Brain Tumors

At the hospital, Ms. Debby was lonely. There was no one from the family members who accompanied him in the time when he needed them most. Her tears were pouring down her cheeks. She was reminded of her husband, son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. Regret began to envelop his heart. She regretted not following her husband's words. He regretted letting Raffi go with his son-in-law and grandson.

"If only time could I turn back, maybe none of this would have happened. Maybe now I won't be alone like this. Papa, Raffi, Alesha forgive Mama.." he murmured inwardly.

Ms Debby's headaches gradually improved after doctors gave her the medicine. But shortly thereafter, his headache recurred. The doctor suggested that Ms Debby be admitted to the hospital for a CT scan. Debby agreed to it.

After the CT scan, Ms. Debby was allowed to go home. And the results will come out in 1-2 days later. Mr. Imron and Bi Nanik also brought Ms. Debby home.

At 03:00 a.m., Mr. Salman arrived home. Salman rushed straight to his room. He could not wait to see his wife. Arriving at the room, Mr. Salman saw that Ms. Debby was still asleep. Mr. Salman approached her and slowly kissed her forehead. Debby opened her eyes. As soon as he opened his eyes, the whole world seemed to turn. His headache returned again. Ms. Debby spontaneously sat down while holding her head with both hands.

"Mama why Ma?" ask Salman in a panic.

"Papa... Everything's circling Pa. Sakiiiittt.." cried Miss Debby.

Ms. Debby felt unbearable nausea, and she vomited in bed. Mr. Salman is panicking. He immediately took the medicine on the table and a glass of water and drank it to Ms. Debby. Debby felt calm after taking the medicine, her headache gradually disappeared.

"Mama's better?"

Ms Debby held Mr. Salman tightly and cried in her arms.

"Mama was so scared Pa. Don't leave Mama! Forgive Mama Pa. Mama should have followed Papa's words. Mama should have come with Papa to America. Mama should have approved Raffi and Alesha. Mama regrets Pa.. hiks..."

"Thank God that you're aware of all your mistakes"

Then Ms. Debby laid her body down. Mr. Salman lay down next to Ms. Debby and hugged her.

"Yesterday the doctor said Mama had acute vertigo Pa. The doctor told her to do a CT scan. Doctors say the results will come out in 1 to 2 days"

"Mama was so scared Pa. Don't leave Mama again!"

"Papa won't leave Mama. Now sleep!"

Debby closed her eyes. Mr. Salman is really worried about Mr. Debby. But he tried to remain calm in front of his wife.

The next day, Mr. Salman called the hospital to ask about Mr. Debby's CT scan. And the results have come out. Salman rushed to the hospital. He can't wait to know the outcome.

"Doctor how did it go? My wife's okay, isn't she?" ask Salman curiously.

"According to the results of the CT scan, my wife suffered from an early stage brain tumor"

"What?? Brain tumor??"

"Yes Sir"

Salman rounded his eyes. He was shocked to hear the doctor's words. He seemed to not believe what he had just heard because his wife had never been sick.

"Didn't the doctor tell my wife yesterday that my wife has vertigo?"

"Yes Sir. Vertigo is an early symptom of brain tumor. We recommend that your wife be operated on immediately so that the tumor does not spread" added Doctor.

"Do whatever it takes to cure my wife Doc! I will pay whatever it costs!"

"Good Sir. We'll try our best"

Then Mr. Salman went home. On the way, Mr. Salman thought about how he should tell Ms. Debby about her illness. Miss Debby must be very shocked to hear that. But inevitably Mr. Salman has to tell his wife.

Arriving at the house of Mr. Salman gathered all his courage to tell the reality to his wife.

"Pa how did it go? What did Doctor Pa say?" ask Debby curiously.

"Said Doctor Mama suffered from early stage brain tumor Ma"

"What??"

Mr. Salman already suspected that his wife would not be able to accept this fact. Mr. Salman hugged Ms. Debby to calm her down. Debby was crying in her husband's arms.

"Mama must be strong Ma. Mama will be healed. The doctor suggested that the mother be operated on immediately. Mama's going to have surgery?"

"Mama doesn't want surgery, Mama's afraid of Pa"

"Mama don't be afraid. Papa will always be with Mom. Mama wants to heal, right? If you want to heal, you have to have surgery"

Ms. Debby was silent for a moment to digest Mr. Salman's words.

Salman: "Before the surgery he wanted to meet Raffi, Alesha and also our grandson Aulia"

Aulia: "All right Om. Lia's gonna call Raffi's brother and tell him to go home"

Salman: "Thank you Aulia"

Salman : "Muallaikamsalam"

Aulia immediately contacted Raffi.

Raffi: "Assalamu'alaikum"

Aulia: "Wa'alaikumsalam Kak Raffi. Lia wants to tell Kak Raffi some very important news"

Raffi: "What's Lia's news?"

Aulia: "Tante Debby is sick"

Raffi: "What's Lia's sick Mama?"

Aulia: "Tante Debby has a brain tumor. And he's gonna have to get operated on"

Aulia: "Om Salman just called Lia Kak. He told you to go home. Aunt Debby wants to see Raffi, Alesha and Zayn before surgery"

Raffi tells Esha and Bu Dahlia. Esha and Bu Dahlia were shocked to hear the news. Then Raffi said goodbye to Bu Dahlia to bring Esha and Zayn home to meet his parents.

Raffi, Esha and Zayn arrive home. They also got out of the car. Hearing the sound of the car engine, Mr. Salman and Ms. Debby immediately went out to meet them.

"Raffi.." cried Miss Debby.

"Assalamu'alaikum Pa, Ma" said Raffi and Esha while kissing the hands of Mr. Salman and Ms. Debby.

"Wa'alaikumsalam" said Mr Salman and Mrs Debby.

Finally after a long time Mrs Debby and Mr. Salman were reunited with Raffi, Esha and their grandson.

"Raff... Mama misses you dear." exclaimed Debby then hugged Raffi tightly.

"Raffi also misses Mama" Raffi also replied to Ms Debby's embrace. It felt like it had been a long time since Raffi had felt his mother's embrace.

"Raffi, I'm sorry dear Mama. My mom has made a lot of mistakes with you. You must hate Mama a lot, right? Mom is not a good mother. Forgive Mama.." said Miss Debby with tears in her eyes.

"No Ma. Raffi never hated Mama. Raffi has forgiven Mama"

"Thank you dear"

Upon seeing Zayn, Mr. Salman immediately wanted to hold his grandson. Esha let Mr. Salman carry Zayn.

"The grandson of Opa. has grown up you son" exclaimed Mr. Salman then kissed Zayn on both cheeks.

Debby walked up to Esha and stood in front of her.

"Alesha.pardon Mama darling"

Esha was shocked when Ms Debby apologized to him and called him affectionately. Esha did not believe what she had just heard. There was a grain of clear water falling down Esha's cheeks. Esha was deeply moved. Finally after a long time, Esha heard those words coming out from the mouth of her mother-in-law. Esha hugged Debby tightly. Debby returned Esha's embrace.

"Esha should be apologizing to Mama. Esha has separated Mama from Raffi. Forgive Esha Ma..."
