The Second Divorce

The next day, Aulia's condition had improved. Aulia was already much calmer than before. Now Aulia has been able to mengikhlaskan the departure of her baby because last night Aulia dreamed of seeing her baby smiling at her. Now Aulia was convinced that the baby was happier to be by His side. Raffi and Aulia's parents bring Aulia home. Before returning home, Aulia asks Raffi to take her to visit her baby's grave.

"Sir Raffi, Lia wants to go to Rifat's tomb. Before you go home, please take Lia there sister" Aulia pinta.

"Well, I'll take you there"

Raffi stopped his car in front of the cemetery. Ms. Kania helps Aulia get out of the car and leads Aulia into the cemetery. Aulia and Bu Kania walk after Raffi and Pak Mirza who have preceded them. When she arrived at the grave of her baby who was still wet, Aulia was not able to hold the sebak in her chest. Aulia sat down beside her baby's grave. Raffi sat down beside Aulia.

"Rifat, mama's coming baby... May you be calm by His side. I know God loves you more than Mom. Mama has let you go, baby..."

Aulia's tears fell down her cheeks. Raffi was moved to see Aulia's stubbornness. Raffi drowned Aulia's head in his chest. Aulia was crying all over Raffi's chest. Mr. Kania and Mr. Mirza were moved to see it.

After Aulia calmed down, Raffi brought Aulia home. Arriving home, Mrs Debby and Mr. Salman came out to welcome their arrival.

"Aulia.." exclaimed Debby and approached and hugged Aulia.

"Welcome home, baby" added Debby. Aulia simply forced her smile.

Raffi leads Aulia into the house followed by their parents. Raffi helps Aulia sit on the sofa. The family is now gathered in the living room.

"How are you doing, Aulia?" ask Mr. Salman.

"Lia's better Pa. Lia has sincerely accepted the departure of Rifat" replied Aulia.

"It's okay baby, you and Raffi can try again. I'm sure someday you'll get pregnant again" Ms Debby chimed in.

Raffi was shocked to hear his mother's words. Aulia understood when she saw Raffi's reaction.

"No ma. Lia decided to part with Raffi's sister" exclaimed Aulia.

"What??" yell at everything in that room.

"What did you say Lia? Pi... split?" raffi asked half in disbelief at what he heard from Aulia's mouth.

"Yes brother. We better end this marriage. Why do we maintain a marriage without love?"

"Darling, you're not kidding, are you? Are you serious about what you say?" sahut ma'am Kania.

"Lia seriously ma"

"For so long Lia has tried as much as Lia to win the heart of Raffi. But Lia always fails. Raffi can't move on from Alesha. Especially now that God has taken our baby, Lia's only hope to maintain our marriage. Maybe this is God's path. So Lia please divorce Lia sister!"

"Lia what are you saying, baby?" ask Mr. Mirza.

"It's a fact Pa, Ma. Lia was no longer able to continue playing in front of everyone if Lia was okay. Lia's been suffering from Pa, Ma"

"I'm sorry Lia, I didn't mean to make you suffer" Raffi said.

"Lia doesn't blame Raffi. Lia's the one who should be apologizing because Lia's been selfish sister. Lia had forced Raffi's sister to marry Lia even though Lia knew from the beginning that Raffi's sister loved other women. Because Lia thinks, as time goes by Lia can definitely make Raffi love Lia and forget about the woman. But it turns out Lia was wrong... Lia just realized that love can't be forced"

"There has always been only Alesha in Raffi's heart. So once again Lia please, divorce Lia brother! Let Lia find Lia's own happiness"

"No! Mama doesn't agree that you're divorced! I just want Aulia to be my daughter-in-law, not someone else!" exclaim Debby's mom.

"If you're divorced, where do you want to put papa's face with mama? What do people say later? Do you want to embarrass us?" ask Mr. Salman.

"Now Lia doesn't care what Ma says, Pa. This time Lia beg understanding mommy equally papa. Let brother Raffi be happy Ma, Pa! Do you want to see your only child is equally happy? Brother Raffi has suffered enough because of our selfishness ma. Poor brother Raffi. Lia also wants to be happy even without Raffi. Lia will try her hardest to throw away Lia's feelings"

"If that's your decision, papa won't stop you, baby... Papa just wants to see you happy" Mirza said.

"Yes dear.mama also wants you to be happy" said Ms. Kania.

"But Mirza, Kania." cried Mr. Salman.

"We must respect the decision of our son Salman. They are adults, let them decide their own future!" sahut Mr. Mirza.

Mr. Salman and Ms. Debby were unable to say anything more after hearing Mr. Mirza and Ms. Kania's decision.

"Please take care of our divorce!" exclaims Aulia while shedding her tears.

"If that's what you want, well Lia I'll divorce you. May you find a better man than I. The man who loves you with all his heart. Not like me who can only make you suffer. You deserve to be happy Lia. Again forgive me.." said Raffi by lowering his head.

Without feeling it, there was a grain of clear water dripping from Raffi's eye patch and falling to the floor. Raffi immediately wiped his tears.

"Sorry, Raffi excuse me to go to the room first"

Raffi stood up and went to his room. Raffi dropped his body on the bed with a prone position. Raffi's tears are flowing more and more. Raffi drowned his face in the pillow. Raffi's mind is fucked. Raffi is failing to be a husband. He hurt two women at once whom he loved very much.

Aulia asks Kania's mom to help her up and catches up with Raffi to the room. Arriving at the door of the room, Aulia asked Kania's mother to leave her so that she could talk to Raffi alone. Aulia came to Raffi and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Sir Raffi.." cried Aulia while touching Raffi's back.

Raffi turned his body and sat facing Aulia.

"What's Lia doing?"

"During our divorce proceedings, Lia will stay with mom and dad Lia sister. Can you?"

Raffi nodded his head and clasped Aulia's body. Raffi felt guilty for making Aulia suffer all this time.

"I'm sorry Lia, I'm not a good husband. I've hurt you and Alesha"

"Go back to Alesha, brother. Lia knows you guys still love each other. Lia pray that you may reunite"

"But we've divorced Lia. We can't be together anymore"

"If you're a match, Lia's sure you'll be together again someday"

"You're a good woman, Lia. I will always pray for your happiness"

"Thank you brother"

Raffi let go of his embrace and then kissed Aulia's forehead gently.

Aulia asks Raffi to help her pack her clothes and belongings into the suitcase. When she finished, Raffi brought Aulia's suitcase and led Aulia out of the room to meet her parents.

"Ma, Pa, I'm sorry Lia if during her time as a daughter-in-law in this house Lia there are flaws and mistakes. Lia said goodbye to Ma, Pa" said Aulia then kissed the hands of Debby and Mr. Salman.

"Please don't go, baby!" exclaim Debby's mom.

"Sorry ma, but Lia has to go. Assalamu'alaikum Ma, Pa"

"Wa'alaikumsalam" said Mrs Debby and Mr Salman.

Raffi also drove Aulia home to her parents. Ms. Debby and Mr. Salman reluctantly let Aulia leave her home.
