Farewell

On a bright Friday morning, sunlight refracts light that feels warm to the skin. This morning Esha walked down the village. Slowly he went to his father's funeral. He wants to say goodbye and ask for his father's blessing before leaving for Jakarta tomorrow.

After walking for about 10 minutes, Esha finally reached the funeral. Before entering the burial area, Esha said his greetings first.

"Assalamu'alaikum" said Esha Lirih then stepped into the tomb area.

After arriving at his father's grave, Esha sat beside his father's grave.

"Oh yes Mar sit down!" Esha invited Amar to sit on a chair on the porch of his house.

"Yesterday I had a lecture until Sha afternoon, that brother I brought the mother to the house until night," Amar explained.

"Yesterday Rosi was just as brave here. They invited me to work in their shop in Jakarta. My mother is ngijinin. Tomorrow afternoon I leave Mar." Esha told Amar everything.

The clock shows at 12:00 p.m. Esha was well dressed. He wore a soft blue blouse combined with a black plisket skirt. He also wears an electric blue pasmina that looks compatible with his blouse. Esha looks so pretty. He also took a tote bag containing the clothes he had prepared yesterday. His mother took a leave of absence today. Just waiting for Amar who will take him to the station. Esha and her mother were waiting for Amar on the porch.

"Dear take good care of yourself there! I will miss you so much" said Ms. Dahlia and hugged and kissed her daughter on the forehead.

"Don't forget the five-time prayers are guarded! Don't forget to eat on time, get enough rest!" dahlia's message to the princess was just that.

Right at half-hour one, Amar came with his motor scooter.

"Assalamu'alaikum" Amar said to Esha and his mother who had been waiting for him on the porch of the house.

"Nak Amar tipped Esha yes, thank you for bringing Esha to the station. Sorry to take care of Amar" Ms. Dahlia told Amar.

"Ah ngrepotin kok ma'am, rich as anyone. I could even help Esha" said Amar.

"Mother Esha said yes, assalamu'alaikum" Esha said, kissing her mother's hand.

"Wa'alaikumsalam's chat. Heart of hearts, dear! Let me know when you get there!"

Esha nodded her head then hugged her mother tightly. Ms. Dahlia could not hold a hole in her chest. Her tears flowed without being asked. Both of them were crying while hugging. Amar was sad to see the scene in front of him at this time.

The Klaten station ....

At one o'clock Esha and Amar arrive at the station. Rosi and Aunt Erna were waiting there.

"Assalamu'alaikum Ros, aunt Erna. You guys have been here a long time? " ask Esha and Amar.

"Wa'alaikumsalam, we also just arrived" replied Rosi and her tant.

A few minutes later the waiting train arrived.

"Mar I say yes, makasi already want to nganterin me. Titip mommy is Mar! Please take care of her as long as I'm not around!" esha's message to Amar.

"Yes Sha, calm down I must take care of your mother" said Amar.

"Assalamu'alaikum Mar" said Esha then walked away from Amar towards the train entrance.

"Wa'alaikumsalam Sha, take care yes, don't forget to call me!" imitating Amar then walked closer to the train.

Amar's heart ached to see Esha leave him. It felt like half his soul was gone. So hurt. Only God knows.

Soon, the train slowly left the station. Esha waved her hand at Amar from the window of the carriage with a smile. Amar waved his hand.

"Oh my God, I will miss that smile so much, that dimple," said Amar.

Amar was silent looking at the train moving away.

'I'll fight Sha, I'll finish my college soon. After getting a steady job, I will marry you, Amar said in his heart.
