The Reveal of Secrets

Aulia from earlier paced back and forth on the porch of the house because of anxiety waiting for Raffi. The clock on the wall of the living room showed at 8pm but Raffi still did not come home. Aulia tried to contact Raffi many times since this morning but Raffi was reluctant to answer her. Then Aulia decided to look for Raffi again in her office. Aulia got into her car and went straight to the office.

Aulia stopped her car after arriving at the office parking lot. Aulia saw Raffi's car in the parking lot. Aulia got out of the car and walked to the lobby. The atmosphere in the office was quiet. All staff have gone home. There were only a few guards standing guard at the security guard post.

"Good night, Miss Aulia" greet all security guards in a compact manner.

"Good night. Is Raffi still in the office?" ask Aulia.

"Yes ma'am, it looks like Raffi's father is overtime today" replied one of the security guards.

"Thank you" Aulia replied, then went into the lobby and went to the elevator and pressed 30.

Arriving at Raffi's office, Aulia went straight into Raffi's study without knocking on the door. Raffi is shocked to see Aulia coming to his office. Raffi who had been sitting pensively in his chair immediately stood up when he saw Aulia approaching him.

"Lia? Why are you here?" ketus Raffi's.

"Sir Raffi, why hasn't Raffi answered Lia's phone since this morning? Last morning Lia came here to look for Alesha but Alesha was not there, Raffi was not there either. Lia tried calling Alesha's number many times but Alesha's number was off. Then Lia found Alesha's resignation letter on the floor. What exactly happened, brother? Why did Alesha resign?" aulia asked curiously.

Raffi was silent. His face looks sad.

"Sir Raffi where's Alesha?" ask Aulia again.

"Alesha's gone Lia. He has left me. She's..."

Raffi cannot continue he said. His tongue is like a tongue. There was a grain of clear water that fell onto Raffi's cheek. Aulia was surprised to see Raffi crying. Just this time Aulia saw Raffi as sad as this to the point of tears.

"Sir Raffi..."

Aulia approached Raffi and hugged him. Aulia could not bear to see Raffi as sad as that. Raffi just kept quiet without returning Aulia's embrace.

"I'm sorry Lia. Alesha must have gone because of Lia. Aye right?"

Aulia let go of her embrace.

"Why does Raffi keep secret of Raffi's marriage to Alesha? Sis, Lia wants to know everything!!"

Raffi told Aulia everything. From the first time Raffi met Alesha in a nightclub until Raffi took her home and married her without everyone's knowledge.

"Sorry Lia I wasn't honest with you about my marriage to Alesha because my mom kept threatening me. I'm afraid mama will hurt and drive Alesha away. Mama also kept forcing me to marry you"

"So you know about Raffi and Alesha's marriage?"

Raffi nodded his head.

Raffi reached into his pocket and took out a letter from Alesha and thrust it into Aulia. Aulia welcomed the letter and read it.

Aulia was shocked to read Alesha's letter. Aulia's eyelids arrived full. And Aulia was unable to stem the tears that were dripping down her cheeks.

Raffi stared at Aulia sharply.

Raffi nodded his head. Then they both walked away from the office.

That night Esha was scared because her mother kept asking her.

"Esha, since childhood your mother and father never taught you to lie. Because lying is a sin. Especially lying to parents. This mother is your mother. The one who gave birth to you. Mom's instincts tell me you're having a problem and you're trying to hide it from mom. Aye right?" tanya Bu Dahlia still looked at Esha sharply.

"I'm sorry Esha ma'am. But Esha does not want to make mother sad" answered Esha still with a head down.

"Mom will be sadder if you are not honest with mom" said Ms. Dahlia firmly.

Esha was silent for a moment digesting the words that came out of her mother's mouth. Then Esha gathered all the courage to say it all.

"Mother is actually Esha already..."

Esha did not continue saying.

"What's it, baby?" ask Dahlia.

At last the words came out of Esha's mouth.

"What?? Married married??"

Ms. Dahlia was shocked to hear her daughter's words.

"Married to whom? Why did you get married without telling mom?"

"I'm sorry, Esha ma'am, Esha must not tell mom. Esha doesn't want to make me sad"

There was a grain of clear water flowing down Esha's cheek.

"Now you tell me everything to Mom. I want to know everything"

Esha told her mother everything from the beginning she was framed by Rosi and her aunt until she finally decided to leave Raffi. The cry of Dahlia burst out hearing every word that came out of Esha's mouth. Esha hugged her mother and cried in her mother's arms. Esha felt a burden on her shoulders as if it felt lighter.

"Mother forgive Esha.." said Esha in between sobs.

"Eshaaa... so much you've been through but not one bit you told your mother" exclaimed Dahlia, crying bitterly.

"I'm sorry, Esha ma'am..."

"Why your friend Rosi and her aunt are so mean to you. What's your fault with them? I think they're good people. But it turns out..."

Dahlia's mother is sobbing.

"Mom don't cry anymore. Let Allah punish them" said Esha trying to calm his mother.

"Mom doesn't want you to be treated like that, baby. I don't accept..."

Then Dahlia was unconscious. Esha panicked to death to see her mother faint.

"Ibuuuu... mother why? Don't make Esha afraid mom... banguuun...!!!" shout Esha.

Esha took her mother to the room and laid her body on the bed. Esha rushed to take the wind oil and opened the lid. Esha put the bottle of wind oil under her mother's nose so she could breathe it in. Shortly after, his mother realized.

"Thank God." said Esha.

"Gush..."

The cry of Dahlia broke again. Her tears flowed from the corner of her eyes.

"Mother, don't cry anymore. Esha apologize ma'am. Esha didn't mean to make mom sad"

Esha clasped her mother's hand to make her feel calmer.

"If your father were alive, none of this would have happened to you, dear..."

"Mom don't talk like that, ma'am. This is Esha ma'am's destiny. Esha has accepted it"

"Esha.. If your husband really loves you why would he hurt you and remarry another woman? He should have kept you"

"Mother don't blame Raffi. Raffi is innocent ma'am. Esha told him to marry Esha in silence to justify our relationship. And Esha has promised not to demand anything from Raffi including his loyalty ma'am"
