Dean pulls Jessy's hand towards a place away from the crowd. He invites her to run. They began to enter a hallway that was only illuminated by bright yellow lights. There was nothing to hear except the sound of someone's footsteps. Dean invites Jessy to walk while sneaking around. Jessy just followed Dean. He was confused where Dean would take him.
When he arrived at a place, Dean stopped in front of a large door. Then he looked at her. "I was here with Joan. We were naughty." he whispered.
Several times Dean had said about Joan, but he was confused. What kind of mischief did the two brothers do? Jessy still had no idea of what place she meant.
Dean held the doorknob carefully. He closed his eyes and started to open them. He pulls Jessy's arm inside. "Come, we're in" he said.
A wine storage facility is there. "This is a wine storage warehouse. Look, you can see all kinds of wine and the year it was made." Dean whispered.
Jessy entered in with awe. He saw thousands of bottles of wine stored neatly. He looked around the huge room. "Dean, they kept it up" he said enthusiastically. Then he remembered something. "Are we not going to get caught here?"
"As long as we don't make a loud noise no one will know" Dean replied.
"You're naughty, Dean!" exciting Jessy.
"And you accompanied my delinquents tonight." said Dean, laughing
There was a sound of music coming into the room. The longer it sounds. Dean held Jessy's hand and pulled her to the spot where there was a moonlight beam coming in between the windows. He then raised Jessy's hand to his shoulder. Then Dean's hand moved on Jessy's waist.
"Do you do this to all women often?" ask Jessy slowly.
"Never once. Just with you I did. I mean, dance with you in the moonlight." Dean explained. His face that was not very visible because of the dark was paying attention to something. He saw a pendant with the words "**" on Jessy's white neck.
"Lies if Lana says you're not a romantic person. I myself probably won't be able to take all the treatment from you" Jessy said.
"really? Do you think I'm romantic? You won't be able to hold it?" dean asked her. This woman in front of him is too innocent. But he still likes it.
Jessy looked behind Dean. He didn't want to look at Dean. They dance to the sound of music. Suddenly the sound of music became more and more romantic. Bathed in moonlight, they began to enjoy dancing. Jessy, who has never danced in her entire life, had to experience it when she got married. Then tonight. He started to tighten his arms around Dean.
"Your voice fascinated me, Jessy. I didn't know you could sing. You have a voice that can sedate anyone who hears it. Including me." whispered Dean right in Jessy's ear.
Jessy laughed happily. His face began to blush. He's resting his head on Dean's chest. "Dean.." call him.
"Hmmm. You want to sing to me again?" ask Dean.
"No. I just want to bring out something that's been stuck for the past few days."
"Why? You're not happy marrying me? Holdit. We're just getting started" Dean said in a disappointed tone.
Jessy shook her head. "I don't know if I got carried away because of this room, or just my feelings. Honestly, I like your money. But I also love this wedding. No one has ever been close to me. I never had anyone next to me. But, when I know you, especially your family. I feel like I have a family. Your friend, now my friend. I don't think my life is as bland as it used to be. I have someone to tell me. There's Anastasia and your father who I consider my own parents. I never felt like I had a family. You know I don't have parents, do you?"
Dean nodded. He stopped dancing and tightened his arms. She stroked Jessy's hair. "Do you remember your parents?"
"Both of my parents only gave me the last identification" Jessy said, holding her necklace.
"**. UP.I thought it was someone else's initials." Dean said, holding it. "You want to cry?"
Jessy lifted her head and looked at Dean. "Cannot be. I'm a strong woman. I couldn't cry just because of the story about my parents. I don't remember them anyway."
Dean fell silent. She covered Jessy's mouth with her hands but her eyes were closed. His eyes move from left to right. Then he opened his eyes quickly. "Something's coming." he said in a panic. He pulled Jessy's hand.
Two men entered the room. They brought some bottles while looking at something in the bottle.
Jessy didn't dare to look at it. He closed his eyes. He felt Dean's arm holding him from behind so tightly. I heard the door shut. Jessy opened her eyes and stepped forward. Just as he stepped, his hand was pulled back. Dean pushed him against a wall. He glared at Dean. "What are you gonna do, Dean? Unhand me!" whispered Jessy.
"I won't let you go." whispered Dean. He raised both hands and kept them on Jessy's shoulders. He locked Jessy's head between her hands. "Why do you keep making me fascinated, Jessy? Why are you doing this to me?"
"I don't care. No one knows us." whispered Dean. He presses Jessy's head with his head against the wall. Jessy closed her eyes as Dean kissed her without hesitation. Dean's defense collapsed. Since their wedding, he kept imagining being able to be in a place away from a party and just alone. Although she realized Jessy was jerking and gasping, she slowly accepted it.
Dean didn't have to imagine they were in a cramped room. Just being in this place is enough. Away from the crowd and only the sound of music that still echoed. Is this what you call romantic? I don't know, he just follows his conscience. A moment later he broke away. He looked into those beautiful hazel eyes that were staring at him with that slightly confused look. Dean tidied Jessy's hair with one of her hands while continuing to look at her. That plain face said nothing.
"You surprised?" dean asked as he touched the woman's lips. No response from Jessy. Just a little nod. Dean smiles. "From now on you will continue to receive it from me. So you don't have to be surprised anymore. We'll do it often. Youunderstand?" he said as he looked down and kissed Jessy's lips quickly.
Jessy's heart was beating fast. What is this feeling? Is he falling in love with Dean? Why so fast? Or the feeling of being surprised after Dean did it?
...***...
The party is not over yet, Dean and Jessy return to the party and mingle with the other invited guests. Eventually, they meet Jack and Miranda. The couple, who look very classy, deliberately create an event that they usually make every year to welcome the success of their company.
Miranda pulled Jessy's hand when she saw her husband was seriously talking to Dean. He took her to his fellow businessmen. They look flashy. Not just the clothes, but the jewelry they wear.
"I don't really know much about gossip. But I want to know how your family is, Jessy. What did both your parents do? There's no way Dean would marry you if you were ordinary." exclaimed a friend of Miranda's.
Miranda nodded. "I want to know too. When I got to know Dean, I originally wanted to marry him to one of my children. You know that my big son is already a hospital director. He is still very young."
Jessy was hurt by that. He smiled blandly. "I'm a nobody. I'm just lucky to be married to Dean."
"I remember Dean's scandal before he married you. I think they are lovers. The news of your engagement so quickly spread. I salute Dean's popularity. What were you working on earlier?"
Jessy grabbed a glass of wine and drank it quickly. "I'm just a lucky poor woman" she said with a slight annoyance.
Miranda laughs. "It seems I'm lacking an approach with Dean. If I do it a little faster, I can make him my son's husband. Too bad he picked a regular woman."
Jessy smiled bitterly again. He took one of the glasses back and drank it quickly.
"Look, drinking wine alone can't be graceful. How could he follow such an elegant Dean?"
Jessy shunned the women with a slight stagger after drinking two glasses of wine that she did not know what kind it was. He sat in front of a table containing food and of course the wine served. He looked at the glasses. He thought even though his head was getting dizzy.
What's wrong with being a poor girl without parents?
What is wrong with marrying a public figure?
What's wrong with living with a Dean?
Dean asked her to marry him. It was not he who asked for it. He only asked for one million dollars a month as compensation for his marriage. Is that wrong? Dean forced him.
He took one of the glasses and drank it again. "Evil!" said it. He turned to look at Dean who was still talking to Jack and his friends. Does she deserve to be Dean's wife? He kept the glass and his hands held the table. He lowered his head. He had never felt hurt like this before. No one ever bothered him one bit. He always lived in a way of being grateful for whatever he had.
"Jessy.." call Dean.
Jessy turned her body around. He saw Dean looking at him worried. He wanted to cry and embrace her. But, this is a party. He didn't want to embarrass Dean.
"You drunk?" whispered Dean as he began to approach. He held Jessy's hands together so she could stand up.
Jessy was silent. He lowered.
"What happened to you, baby? Talk quickly?" ask Dean to worry.
Jessy lifted her face with teary eyes. "Take me away from this place. I want to go home" he whispered.
