Jessy Julian is a beautiful girl from the US state of Nevada. He came to New York looking for good luck. But in fact he even works in a laundry place. His usual makeup, he wears large glasses and with long blonde hair that he rolls up and is a little disheveled. Her beauty is covered by her appearance. He has no one in this world. Her parents died when she was a baby. Nobody takes care of it but the orphanage. That's according to the parlour mother who told him.
It was night time but the bustle of New York City really left him helpless. He had to take a bus to reach his mini apartment in suburban New York. It takes 30 minutes by bus. If using a private car can be faster to arrive.
The streets are crowded near all the roads. Billboard in the city aired an ad from the actress who had just played in the film Death. Horror movies are on the rise right now. Wherever he was, people would talk about him. He remembered how people talked about it while at the laundry. They cheated on the actors and actresses. Jessy once saw it in a newspaper the merchant sold. They are beautiful and handsome. It's only natural that they are the talk. But he doesn't like horror movies very much. Whoever is in the movie, it's the same for him.
During the trip, he leaned his head against the glass because he was really tired. Sometimes he thinks his life is unpleasant. Living without parents and having to work hard to earn money like now. But he didn't want to go through hard.
When the bus dropped him off at a stop near the apartment, he saw an elderly couple he knew were his neighbors. Running he approached the couple just to greet him.
"Grandfather, grandma, what are you doing out at night? "
"We just went out to eat. We are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary" one of them replied.
"I'm so happy to hear that. I want to be like you." Jessy hugged the two of them. All he knew was that they both had a child. Their son is in Michigan with his husband and children. They visit their parents once a month. The parents invite Jessy to stop by their apartment. Unfortunately, Jessy had to reject him because he was completely exhausted. And there was actually what he needed most right now. A BATH.
Moments later, Jessy was in her room. His body collapsed shortly after he saw the bed in his room. His body is very tired. But he can still think.
I want to be like them. Live as long as it is a couple who love each other. What about my parents? When your lives love each other?
Jessy sighing. I don't think he's ever been in love with anyone. Stepping on his 20th year, it was very strange for him because he had never had a girlfriend. He was too busy working. To the point that he did not find a partner. Jessy looked at her apartment. Everything is done in one room. Only the bathroom has its own wall. There is no sofa, only an old-fashioned chair. It was a gift from the owner of his apartment. The kitchen is on the right. There is only a mini fridge, a small stove and potluck furniture.
He got up and walked to the bathroom. The only thing he liked was the bed and the bathroom. So that he only loved both because he was willing to spend more money for both. Silly indeed, but since he lived in the orphanage never once did he have a bathroom. Children used to bathe in the river that flows behind the house.
Jessy turned the tap of warm water and pulled out soapy liquid and essence to relax her body. Jessy looked in the mirror in front of her. He slowly looked at himself. The thick glasses were opened and stored on the mirror's windshield rack. His hair rolled up he outlined. The golden yellow colored hair instantly decomposed.
After removing his clothes, he went into the bath tub and leaned his body there. The feeling of relax was immediately felt. Bath tubs are not new. He got it from a neighbor who needed money. Same with water heaters. If you buy the original, the money from a job as laundry will not be enough.
He only hoped that one day he would be able to get out of the discomfort. And he started singing..
I walked through the door with you
But something about it felt like home somehow
And I left my scarf there at your sister's house
And you've still got it in your drawer even now
Oh, your sweet disposition
And my wide-eyed gaze
We're singing in the car, getting lost upstate
Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place
And I can picture it after all these days
And I know it's long gone and that magic's not here no more
And I might be okay but I'm not fine at all
'Cause there we are again on that little town street
You almost ran the red 'cause you were lookin' over at me
Wind in my hair, I was there
I remember it all too well
