The Charm of the Director

The Charm of the Director
Wedding talk

Romantic music was still playing as a sign the party was coming to an end. Some couples come down to dance. They're all happy. Except for the bride who had put on a sour face ever since she entered the room. Dean tightened his embrace on Jessy's waist. He stared.

"Are you mad at me?"

"No" Jessy replied without looking at her.

"I know you're mad at me. Still angry about that woman?" dean Goda.

"I said no!" jessy replied annoyed.

"If you're not angry, why should you be angry?" dean's temptation is back.

Jessy looked at Dean with her big eyes. Dean hugged Jessy. His face he kept on the shoulder of the woman who had officially become his wife. "I'm sorry. I've said it a few times. I was never interested in women. I never felt any vibration. Youunderstand? I never knew what love was. If you have the ability to do that, make me fall in love with you, Jessy." whispered Dean.

Jessy remembered Lana's words. Dean never once fell in love or had a lover. The woman who approached him a lot but never once he gave a response. "You didn't marry me for that reason. You don't want me to be in the news. Are you not aware? I married you has also been in the news. But I was prepared for all the news. You forced me to enter your world. If I don't marry you now, I'm asleep in the bed in my mini apartment."

"Your shabby apartment?" dean asked with a laugh.

"The place you think is a shabby place, can make you sleep soundly on my bed." replied Jessy.

Dean laughed lightly. He lifted his head and looked at Jessy. "There's always an answer to my statement."

"I'm not a dead thing" Jessy replied.

Dean laughed again. He looked around him. The guests started to leave the party room. Badaipun already looks a little eased. Only the rain still falls, although not as big as before.

"Of course you're a living thing. You're gorgeous. Have beautiful eyes, beautiful hair, a beautiful body..."

"Am I fit to be a director's wife?" ask Jessy.

Dean looked at Jessy's innocent face. He forgot to get angry at her. He smiles. "You're so pretty. You didn't realize when we swore that, a lot of reporters took pictures of you."

"You're lucky to marry me. If you marry another woman, maybe the news won't be this big. Maybe because I'm a regular woman. A laundry clerk and living in a slum. You should thank me."

"You're smart, Jessy." said Dean with a smile.

"I'm afraid I'm losing a million dollars."

Dean was surprised. But he doesn't care. "What's a million dollars for?" tanyanya while tightening her embrace.

"I want to travel around the world." replied Jessy.

"I don't know until when you'll marry me. You could have left me and not come back."

"That's impossible. My job requires me to go anywhere. But in the end I'll be back home." Dean said

Jessy seemed to think. He looked back at Dean. Dean's work as a director was hard. He had to go to one place and another to find a location. He had heard from Lana if Dean's job would make him focus because Dean was crazy to work. "Can I hug you?" ask Jessy suddenly.

"Of course you can do it." Dean replied with a smile.

Jessy raised both her hands around Dean's neck and hugged him tightly. He could also feel Dean's hands reciprocating by hugging him. He opened his eyes and looked around. Suddenly he was surprised and broke away. He looked around again. Where are the invited guests?

"Why?"ask Dean.

"Where are the guests here?" ask Jessy confused.

"It looks like they've come home" Dean replied with a smile.

"Is the show over?" ask Jessy back.

Dean walked over to Jessy. "Looks. The two of us are so focused on talking that we don't realize the guest is home." Dean replied with a laugh.

"Where are we going now?" ask Jessy. He looked at the glass. The storm has stopped. Only the remnants of the rain that soaked the ground.

"While we're going home to my apartment. Very early tomorrow we will fly to Argentina to see the Zuccardi Valle de Uco vineyards in the Uco valley, the foothills of the Andes. I'm sure you'll like it. The place is beautiful."

"Why are you taking me there?" ask Jessy.

"Of course our marriage needs a honeymoon. I'm leaving you two weeks to film. How could I have made a bad impression at the beginning of our marriage."

Jessy grabbed Dean's arm. "All right, let's go home now. I want to walk to your apartment." Jessy said excitedly.

Dean saw himself still using a tuxedo. "With this outfit?"

"You mind? I don't care because everyone knows we're married. When else to walk in New York City in bridal attire like this." Jessy said.

Dean clasped Jessy's hand and walked to her car. The driver was waiting. "All right, let's go on foot. But it'd be better if you put on your coat because it's very cold" Dean said, opening the trunk of his car. He pulled out two coats that were always available in his car. She put it on Jessy and wore it on her own.

"Let's go" he said.

"Come on. " replied Jessy excitedly. He reflexively raised his hand and held Dean's hand. They began walking out of their wedding hall on foot.
