Chapter 9 (Joyalty of Kevin)

On the way to the hospital Alan had a major dilemma. How he told Melisa that his father-in-law was likely the mastermind of his father's murder. And if it proves Farhan Sanjaya guilty, what does it mean that this matchmaking is his rotten plan too? Is Kevin involved in all this?

"Sister has come." Melisa welcomed her sister with enthusiasm.

"When I can get home from here, sis, I've missed the atmosphere of home so much."

"Don't talk to the doctor and tell him I'm okay, I'm fine. Tell me I want to go home tomorrow morning."

"Sister......! Shouted Melisa upset because all her words were not responded to at all by Alan.

"Eh, my dear why?" Alan replied confused as to why Melisa was upset with him.

Silence is created between them, Alan still keeps thinking about the matter of killing his father. And it could have disrupted Melisa's health if her sister found out.

"Sister, I want to confide in something." She broke the silence between the two.

"What's? Alan's forehead wrinkled, he was surprised because usually Melisa always harbored her own problems whatever she experienced. He always appeared smiling and tough whatever his condition and mood.

"I'm in love."

"What?"

"I love him brother, I mean I love Kevin's brother."

How'this? Why did Melisa love Kevin so quickly? What if Farhan was really involved with the father's murder, it means there's a chance Kevin might be involved as well. Inner Alan.

The next day Melisa was allowed to go home, more precisely forcing her to go home. Because his condition improved enough, the doctor finally allowed him.

A little boy came in. He looked at the whole room in amazement and admiration. He did not expect Melisa's house to be this grand.

The two of them walked towards Melisa's room which was upstairs.

"Aldo! aaaaaaa... Is this really you? I'm so glad you came to see me."

"Ehm.." Kevin cleared his throat because he felt his existence from earlier was ignored.

"Oh yes Al, this is Kevin's brother."

"He's your brother too?"

"I.YES.." With hesitation Melisa replied.

"Me meet Kevin". Squeezing Aldo's hand that was shaking with him.

Why is Melisa so familiar with him. Kevin nodded in his heart.

"You guys are so familiar, don't you look like?

"Yes our brother is familiar, he was the one I told you about the other day. He's so clever that he got a school scholarship."

"It's also because of your help Mel, if you don't help me, I don't think I'll get that scholarship."

"That's because of your cleverness. I'm honestly amazed and envious because you've always been a general champion."

And again Kevin felt his existence was not considered because they were so cool talking.

Damn, it looks like this snot boy will be my rival. Kevin in my heart.

So long they talk until it does not feel time has shown lunch hour.

"It's lunchtime." Alan came with a tray of food.
