Chapter 5 (Jealous)

Time can change everything, not least a feeling. A relationship that was originally only tied to on the basis of matchmaking, is now starting to turn into a relationship based on love. As the saying goes "Unknown then not dear." That's what happened to Melisa and Kevin, both of them started to feel the thrill of love that was raging inside the chest.

"I want to surprise Kevin." Melisa, who was just getting ready to go home from school, decided to meet Kevin to college and take him to lunch together. Along the way his smile was unceasingly blotted out.

The car stopped at the campus parking lot.

"Sir, wait a minute." Say hello to his personal driver.

"Well miss, but I suggest you let Mr. Alan know if she's going home late."

"Good God I forgot." Patting his own head.

Fortunately, the driver reminded him, otherwise Alan would be anxious if Melisa had not arrived home because at school, Alan always contacted the housekeeper to make sure Melisa was in trouble. Not only that, at mealtimes Alan will determine whether his brother has eaten and taken his mandatory medicines.

Melisa circulated her gaze looking for the figure she was looking for. Without realizing it he became the center of attention because he was still wearing a school uniform.

"Daddy, find who?" A woman approached him and asked in a friendly manner.

"I'm looking for my brother, his name is Kevin's brother, do you know him?"

"Oh, you're Kevin's sister? But I know he's an only child."

"I'm his cousin's sister, brother." Biting her lower lip because she felt guilty for lying.

"He's in the cafeteria with Maya."

"May?"

"Yes, they often eat in the cafeteria together. They are good."

That word was so painful for Melisa

"Did you know what they were related to?"

"I don't know either, but what I saw was they were so familiar."

"Well, brother, excuse me for seeing Kevin, thanks for the information."

Without waiting for an answer from the person he was talking to, he immediately went half-run towards the cafeteria. And sure enough, he saw Kevin sitting next to a beautiful woman. They looked so familiar, even though there they were not just the two of them.

Melisa undoes her intention, she chooses to go home.

"Is the lady okay?" Ask Melisa's driver because he was just silent and looked teary.

"I'm fine."

"Miss sure?"

"Yes I'm fine, don't ask again."

Arriving at home, she ran straight to her room. She cried until she finally fell asleep.

"Hello why has Melisa been eating and taking medicine?"

"Not sir, I knocked on his door but there was no answer, I'm worried sir."

"Well, I'll go home now."

Arriving at home Alan rushed to his sister's room, he opened the room door with a spare key.

"Dear get up, eat first."

"Sister? Why did you come home?"

"No, I'm just tired."

"Hey are you crying?"

"Not before did my eyes sting because of the dust." Trying to cover everything.

"Well then eat and take your medicine, brother accompany."

Melisa replied with a nod.

In the afternoon after college, Kevin accidentally passed Melisa in the living room. Kevin intends to go to him but Melisa goes to avoid.

Why is he avoiding me

Intrigued by Melisa's attitude he intends to pursue her, but she hunts into the room. Kevin paused his intention and walked towards his room.

Is he mad at me? but why angry? I'll find out the answer later..

At dinner together they chose to be quiet. Alan who felt awkward with their attitude decided to ask.

"Is there a problem? why are you quiet from now on?"

"No." They answered simultaneously.

"Did Kevin do something to you?" Glanced sharply at Kevin.

"I? Hey, what did I do? I didn't do anything."

"I didn't ask you."

"He didn't do anything, brother, don't think like that."

"Then why is your attitude getting weird like this?"

"I'm just not feeling well."

"What's sick?" Alan suddenly panicked and approached his sister. He was very afraid to remember the history of his sister's heart problems because he had been shot.

"No, brother, I'm just tired, brother."

"Are we going to the hospital just to make sure, and so your brother doesn't worry like that." Kevin gave advice as well as wonder why Alan was so sweet. Because what he saw Melisa looked healthy even though she was just silent.

"No, I just need to rest."

After dinner Alan approached Kevin.

"There's something important I want to talk about."

"What?"

"It's about Melisa."

"Why is it, brother?"

"Never get her hurt. He has suffered a lot all along. He does look strong and fine, but he's actually fragile."

"What do you mean, did something happen to her?"

"He's sick, his heart's troubled because of me. He protected me when someone tried to kill me."

Degggm.... Kevin was shocked by what Alan said. She did not expect Melisa to be so ill. As far as she could see, Melisa looked perfectly healthy. She also did not expect Melisa to be able to sacrifice her own life for the person she loved.
