The CEO's Beloved Sister

The CEO's Beloved Sister
Chapter 36 (Hysterical)

"Why could you?"

The first word that Alan said after arriving at his residence. She panics after Sofia calls her and tells Melisa that she is not okay.

"Look into the room. He's been quiet ever since he got home from the hospital." Sofia still looks panicked even though Alan is here. She loved Melisa as much as her sister.

"You're taking him to the hospital?"

"Yes, he said he had permission with you to visit Amora. That's why I dare take him out. I'm sorry, I didn't know it was gonna be like this." Sofia said with regret.

Alan went into Melisa's room and found her sister daydreaming. Alan memorized very well if Melisa was like this, there must be something wrong.

"Darling, are you ok?" Gently caressed her sister's cheeks.

Melisa just nodded in response.

"What can you do to make yourself feel better?"

Answered a slightly forced headband and smile.

"Please don't be like this. Brother is so sad to see you like this."

"I'm fine, brother. I'm just a little limp, and maybe I need oxygen to recover." Melisa saw the tears trying to be held, behind her sister's voice that shook. He gathered all his heart and mind to just say 'I'm fine' to his brother. The sentence was so simple but so heavy as Melisa said it.

"Tunhgu. Brother get me an oxygen tank."

Alan walked to the oxygen tank Melisa used to use first, when her heart was not stable. And finally, after a long time the tool must be opened again. 'Sick', that's how Alan feels right now.

"Is it better now?" After the oxygen was attached, Alan again asked Melisa's condition.

"Yes." Yeah." The answer was slow, barely audible.

Sofia had been watching Alan. He was still surprised to see Alan who could behave as soft and warm as that. What made her even more astonished was, Alan showed such an attitude only to Melisa. Even her self who has been proclaimed as her lover is still often treated arbitrarily.

"Eat first, huh? It's almost afternoon, you missed your lunch. You haven't taken your medicine, have you?"

Alan picked up a tray of lunch that had been two hours nanngkring on the nightstand and looked untouched.

He immediately contacted the waiter and asked to replace the lunch for Melisa with a new one.

Not long after the food arrived. With painstaking Alan fed Melisa to the umpteenth feed he refused.

"So, I'm full."

"A little more." Alan Pinta.

"Please brother, I'm getting nauseous."

"Yes, drink first. Where's your medicine?" Alan looks for Melisa's drug, which is usually placed on the nightstand, but it's not there."

"Where's your medicine?" Alan asked once again for not finding what he was looking for.

"In the bottom drawer." Melisa replied hesitantly.

Alan was stunned when he found the medicine was still intact.

It should be almost over, right?

Yes, it should have run out because there are three more days of Melisa's schedule to check up.

Alan looked at Melisa deeply. He doesn't know what to say. While Melisa herself knew the true meaning of her brother's gaze. She must have been angry and disappointed that she had secretly never taken her medicine again since she became pregnant.

"What's this?" Alan placed the stack of medicine he held onto Melisa's lap.

"Sorry." Only that word is what Melisa is capable of saying right now.

"What do you want, baby? Do you want your brother to die soon?"

"Hey, what's up?" Sofia gently clasped Alan's hand. He who did not know what was really going on tried to calm Alan who looked so angry.

"Say what do you want?" This time with a slightly raised tone.

"Stop Alan's. What are you doing?" Shouted Sofia who had just seen Alan so angry with Melisa.

Alan brushed off Sofia's hand and spoke back in a high tone.

"Answer brother."

"I'M JUST TRYING TO BE A MOTHER TO MY SON." Melisa replied by shouting loudly because she could no longer bear all the burden on her shoulders.

"I JUST WANT THE BEST FOR MY SON." Shouted Melisa who was getting hysterical.

His heart was completely broken at this moment. The incident at the hospital when he saw Kevin feeding Amora, had made his heart not careless. And at this time, for the first time an Alan Yong Ju shouted at him.

Plakkc...

Sofia slaps Alan's cheek.

"It is already dear. Calm yourself. You said you wanted the best for your son, right? Even though it's still in there, your baby also feels what you feel. That's not good for growth." Sofia embraces and tries to calm Melisa down.

What Sofia said managed to stop Melisa's cries.

But Alan panicked when he saw Melisa just silent and not talking anything, while his tears were unceasingly flowing.

"Let Melisa calm down." Sofia said as she pulled Alan's hand out of Melisa's room.

Bugh...

Alan punched Melisa's room wall many times making her hand hurt.

"Alan's stop. What are you doing."

"Stupid! I feel so stupid!" Alan sat down and drowned his head.

"You don't be like this. Look at your hand getting hurt. If you're why, how can you take care of Melisa. He needs you right now."

Sofia walked towards the p3k box not far from where she was standing at the moment.

"Here I treat your wounds." Sofia cleans up the blood that runs through Alan's finger and then wraps it with a bandage.

After treating Alan's wounds, Sofia was shocked when Alan suddenly hugged her. And to his surprise, Alan was currently sobbing in his arms.

He again saw the other side of an Alan Yong Ju. Behind his cold and liking attitude as good as his own, it turns out to have a very fragile side. As he is witnessing at the moment.

"Cry if it makes you better, I'm here for you." Sofia said sincerely.

Alan tightened his embrace. He is grateful to have Sofia who can always understand him, even though she often acts arbitrarily to him.

"Thank you."

This time Alan thanked Sofia.

***

It has been almost four hours Melisa just silent to say a word even though Sofia always tried to invite him to communicate.

"How is he doing?" Alan asked Sofia who had just come out of Melisa's room.

"We'd better call a doctor. He had not drunk and eaten anything until now. He won't talk either."

"I asked Doctor Juna to come here. Maybe it'll be here soon."

And sure enough, Doctor Juna came along with Kevin's arrival.

"Doctor's here?"

"Yes. Miss Melisa is sick. I'll check on her condition."

"Then please doc. Let me take you to my wife's room."

After arriving at Melisa's room, the doctor juna checked her condition. Some of the questions asked Melisa were not even answered at all.

"Actually what happened to the extent that Miss Melisa's condition dropped like this? I met at the hospital this afternoon and greeted him. He looks fresh and cheerful. But right now it seemed like he was experiencing such intense inner pressure."

"Yes our doc did go to the hospital to visit my mother, after which Melisa went to see her sister who happened to be in care there too. But when he came back suddenly it was like this." Sofia explained all the events she had seen while with Melisa this afternoon.

Degs...

Does that mean Melisa went to Amora's nursery this afternoon?

Did he see me when I was feeding Amora?

Is he like this because of that?

I need to get this misunderstanding straightened out.

The question swirled in Kevin's head. He must speak from heart to heart with Melisa as soon as possible, before all are run over by this misunderstanding.

"She didn't take all the medicine you gave her" either." Alan shows a stack of Melisa's routine medicines that look intact.

"Why miss? Is it because you are worried that this drug will have a bad impact on your fetus? If that's really what you're worried about, haven't I explained that this drug I give you won't harm the fetus in your stomach?"

And again Melisa was just silent with a blank look.

"Looks like we should take Miss Melisa to the pskiater." Doctor Juna.

"Dear, speak! don't just stay quiet like this." Alan shook the body of Melisa who was sitting weakly leaning on the bed.

"Sister, don't be like this. We should follow the advice of the doctor juna to bring Melisa to the pskiater. Calm yourself." Kevin tried to calm his sister-in-law who was the site of the death.

Seriate...
