The Part 30
Briyan and I walked down the house on the bank of the river. Because it was still dark no one had crossed the road. There are only 1-2 motor vehicles passing.
"I've never been to this area, have you been here?" ask Briyan.
"I've never been here, but if we keep walking forward I'm sure we'll meet the highway" he said, checking the small bag on his waist.
"So, now you don't have the money to take a taxi?"
Briyan shook her head, "my bag is dry now. My phone was also lost by the kidnappers. Damn it!" Briyan.
Now that the light from the eastern horizon is getting clearer, the sun will rise soon. But the weather was still cold, I folded my hands in front of my chest and put my jacket together.
"Looks like we're just gonna walk home." I looked at him.
Briyan let out a long breath.
"I have acquaintances, but it's still a bit far from here. Looks like we can ask for help."
"OK.." I said casually.
Sometimes I look at her face that is crumpled and bruised. He was still handsome with his white skin and narrow eyes.
"What did you see?" briyan asked surprised me.
I became a stink at him.
"What?? what did I see??" I almost stammered answering his question.
"You look at me constantly, I know I haven't had a bath and it's very dull. But your gaze was really mocking I know." he said without looking at me.
"really? I didn't know my eyes offended you. I thought you liked it when I looked at you."
Briyan stopped her steps. "What did you say just now?"
But I keep walking forward, I'm sure I can't afford to look at him now, damn it!
"Aku lapar, apa ada makanan di dekat sini??" Aku berusaha mengalihkan topik pembicaraan.

"Luckily, the day I got kidnapped I brought my wallet with me. My ATM is safe... However, even though I brought an ATM I was sure they were not interested in my money. Because all they want is the assets my parents have."
It is true what Briyan said. So, there was no breakfast this morning. This is really our bad luck from yesterday. But behind it all I am still grateful to be free from the pursuit of the kidnappers last night. Last night really made me shudder.
"I have to charge my phone, so I can get help. My phone's been out of power since yesterday afternoon."

We both walked forward to find the highway and ascertain our whereabouts. Because the sun began to rise, residents around also began to leave the house to start their activities.

We continued walking until we reached the end of the road. At the end of the road looks very shady covered by several large trees. Now we are on a big road.
"So, where's it going? right or left?" I asked Briyan.

I followed him from behind, a few cars and a big truck passing by making the wind blow fiercely towards us. Briyan occasionally rubbed his eyes that were exposed to dust.
Now there's no shade, all hot all the way. Briyan and I used our jackets to protect our heads from the direct heat of the sun.
"Are you okay, wi?" asked Briyan who was currently bathing in sweat.
"I. want to faint." I said with an exhausted expression like I wanted to faint.
"What?! just wait for us first. You can't pass out here!" Briyan pulled me under a tree near us.
Now we sit under a tree, in shade. Briyan's expression was still worried.
"Are you okay??" ask her again.
I smiled looking at his worried expression. "Ha ha ha... I'm fine, why is your face so grim??" I can't hold my laugh.
Briyan's expression instantly changed, "since when, can you joke anyway??" tanyanya sat listlessly.
It's true what he said, since when can I joke. I usually sit and judge. Put me in my heart. I don't know, maybe since just now.
We sit for a while loosening the muscles of the legs that begin to tense. I'm so thirsty, I think Briyan is the same as me.
Suddenly a traveling ice salesman passed in front of us. I called him confidently. Briyan just looked at me in wonder.
The ice seller stopped, I ordered 4 glasses of kopyor coconut oak sold by the traveling salesman. After that I took out a small wallet from my pocket and paid.
After the ice seller left, I gave 2 glasses of ice to Briyan. Briyan accepted it with an unhappy expression.
"And since when have you been good at pranking me?" briyan asked with a sharp look, but the expression was very funny in my eyes.
"Come on," I answered without looking at him and continued to drink ice in my hand.
"Based on a liar, you have money and you carry your wallet. Pretending to have no money??"
"I don't feel like I've lied." I looked back at him with a sharp gaze, "did you ask me to bring money or a wallet??"
Briyan looked increasingly anxious with my behavior, but she could only shut up and look at me.
"You're too much Wi, you let us walk 2 kilometers and you just took out your wallet?? we can take a taxi with your money, right? you really want me to be skinny and hi—" he hasn't had time to finish the sentence I've cut.
"It's just that Mr. Briyan, actually I just realized last night when changing clothes, I also had the wrong wallet. This wallet only contains 50 thousand, this is my pocket money during work breaks."
Briyan was silent at my explanation, I took out the contents of my wallet which only 30 thousand were left.
We both took a deep breath, well, at least now we're not thirsty anymore and can walk back.
