Ch. 85 – Tease Adellia

Night turns morning, the dew expands roundly hiding behind the leaf folds.

Some glide profusely from the end of the stem to fall soaking the ground, absorbed in the roots.

From the eastern horizon, the sun looks dashing stretched across the bentala, bright and warm wake the creatures while whispering ‘morning has arrived’.

But in contrast to noctural animals, for them the appearance of the sun is a sign that bedtime has come.

Hoaam... Son yawned because he still could not resist the drowsiness even though he got a guard schedule in the beginning.

But he reasoned unable to sleep because while guarding he always got interference from creatures in the forest.

While the new disturbance is increasingly felt as the night is getting late and the light of the campfire is getting dimmer because the fire has run out of twigs to be devoured.

Still Son could not sleep, even though he had tried to close his eyes a few times.

“Salah you yourself why not sleep,” muttered me while waking others.

Luckily I get sif early in the morning, so I can sleep well at night.

Because when the day has changed the disturbance began to subside and the energy I felt was not as big as at night.

I packed some prepared dishes just in case, after which I asked Son to wake Hans up and pack the camp.

It's time to go back on the journey.

I went downstream to wash the dishes and wet my face. Because yesterday I haven't had a shower the night felt so dark.

As soon as Grandpa Hork explained about the Forward who was watching us from behind the shadows.

None of us dared to come out of the area that was exposed to the light from the campfire.

Even the indifferent Aalisha was reluctant to head to the back of the horse carriage in order to put out the fire and pack the cooking utensils.

At the end of the day, I have to take care of it all. I don't mind, but at least give Saigiri to help me.

Even if Hans didn't forbid me from asking him, I wouldn't wake him up this morning.

At least he can rest longer so he doesn't soybean. If today was going to be a long trip.

“What are you doing here,” I say act cold.

I was surprised to find someone else behind the carriage.

“Can you be starving and stealing leftovers last night?” ask me one more time.

“Nak only!” he threw a spoon at me.

“I'm packing the cookware..” murmured softly.

“Hah?! You didn't even take part in the cooking yesterday and especially when you brought the soup bowl, it was a mess. A lot of soup was wasted,” I said as I caught the spoon with both hands.

The spoon floated far above and I had to grab it while slightly jumping.

“It... it...it was the first time I cooked with friends, so I was quite warm yesterday and subconsciously immediately brought the soup that is still hot,” he muttered apologetically.

“I don't know if I have to wait for cold soup first and then I can lift it." He acted as if they were repeating yesterday.

"Even yesterday I was also scolded by Saigiri for seeing my hands blister a little,” he added while showing off his palms.

I was curious and checked his palm. At first glance there was some blistering skin but it was not a severe wound.

I told him that if the wound was easy to heal, it was enough to spit on.

Funnily enough Adellia took my words seriously, she spat on both palms and flattened them to smear the entire palm.

I was also made to look at his plain behavior.

“Hey, why are you laughing! Didn't I do as you say?” adellia asked me suspiciously, thinking there was something strange about her movements.

“It turns out you're easier to fool than fool a squirrel. Hahaha...” my laughter is spinning.

“Sial! You're fooling.” Adellia looked angry when she realized that it was all just my trick.

“Already.. don't bother with it,” said I calm him down while controlling myself to not get late jokes.

“Let's go downstream, we'll wash it first before packing it,” ask me to show you some dirty dishes.

“Alright..” reply quiet and bring some cookware.

He also asked me to bring the rest. I agreed, and took the rest.

Earlier I also asked him to wait for a while, I wanted to stockpile the remains of firewood with sand.

I took him to hurry downstream of the river. Adellia seemed still having trouble carrying the equipment in both hands.

Maybe I can let him, it seems like he felt humiliated after I said that he never helped with cooking.

Adellia has great self-esteem, not only as a squad leader but also as a woman.

I seem to understand it a bit.

“If you don't mind, you can really cook us a meal,” said I leisurely who walked beside him.

He momentarily fell silent, then continued in his footsteps.

“Although later I also do not know..” I continued, but stopped him in the middle of the sentence.

“Do not know what?” adellia asked, looking at me.

“Yes, that.. whether the food you cook is worth eating or not,” reply me while speeding up the steps to leave it.

“From wherever you are Brother,” asked Saigiri to come up to me, then help me carry one by one cooking utensils.

Though he himself already knew if I had run out of locking in the river together with Adellia.

I could see him from a distance, he was waiting for me behind the horse carriage.

He seemed to have been satisfied beating earlier, so all my words no longer had much effect on him.

Adellia darted away from me and Saigiri.

“What's wrong with her, why does her face look sullen,” said Saigiri saw me, then turned to look Adellia who had disappeared into the horse carriage.

Seen in Adelli again tidied the cookware with difficulty and several times change its position.

“You can ask him yourself, this take it and talk to him,” reply I give you the rest of the plate in my hand.

“I want to see Hans,” I went on and left him with Adellia.

Saigiri nodded and got inside the carriage, he was quite curious about what had just happened.
