Ch. 122 – The Appearance of Strange Mist

“How is it?” ask Adellia.

As the time changed for the night, silence and horror spread through the forest. It was so quiet and filled with the aura of monsters. While the horses have reached their limits and are difficult to compromise. Some of the troops also complained of the fatigue of riding horses constantly.

“Please sorry Miss.”

“It's okay, we rest first here, stay alert and careful. Ask your troops to stand guard while resting, and for the consumption team to distribute food to replenish energy, but remember to keep frugality.” Adellia ordered the team leaders.

“Again I was paired with that old fucking Grandpa?! Is there no other partner that suits me?” I whispered to the wind passing by.

“You mind if I become your partner, Nak Tyaga.” Suddenly the figure appeared from behind me and clasped tightly onto my shoulder, it seemed like he heard my murmur.

Inevitably, I had to pair up again with Grandpa Hork. Fortunately he has strong magic power, with the nickname ‘Honor’ Witch is definitely not an ordinary witch, and with that status it feels rather annoying to know his cleaning ability.

Again, Adellia positioned us both in the back row. Though I would love to be in the front row, that way I can more easily talk to Saigiri. Lately I haven't had much time to talk to him.

Without realizing it, the fog slowly closed around us. How surprised I was, when a few minutes ago I thought there was no movement of monsters approaching us, and everything felt normal. Why is this fog reappearing.

“Kek, look!” 

The panic started to spread throughout my body, I immediately told Grandpa Hork, and told him to report it to Adellia.

“You mean?” reply Grandpa Hork by putting on a confused look.

“Look around you Cake. Fog. Mist Cake!”

“What fog do you mean? I don't see anything here.”

“What did you say?!” my wife was surprised to hear his words. How could Grandpa Hork not see it. This kind of fog was definitely easily seen with the naked eye.

“Do you really can't see it, Cake?” ask me again to make sure he doesn't lie.

“Don't joke you, Tyaga boy! Unlike you, where might I joke in a crucial moment like this.” He was calmly scolding me.

“I'm not kidding Cake!”

Shit I don't know how to tell him what really happened. I have also asked the other troops similar questions and strangely their answer is the same as Grandpa Hork. Some of them even thought I was joking and Grandpa Hork instead scolded me for not saying anything unnecessary for now.

“Which way I might lie!” I left them all behind and made sure for myself what had and would happen next.

“Hey where are you going?!” said Grandpa Hork trying to stop my steps getting drowned in the darkness of Laiquendi Forest.

“I want to check it myself! If you don't believe me then I'll handle it my way!” my reply looked one by one into their eyes seriously, without any hint of doubt I looked up to.

“At least you don't leave the task given to you.” Damn Grandpa Hork instead replied to him casually and thought I just wanted to run away from my duties.

“After you mention the fog, which mist do you mean, young man.”

“You know if there's not even a little bit of fog here right?” grandpa Hork said his words earlier.

From the look in his eyes, there was not the slightest lie that I saw. And neither am I, nor am I lying. I decided to check it myself. But I myself am still not sure where this fog came from, whether from the Forward who wanted to attack us before, or from other monsters.

The aura and magic energy from the monster was completely imperceptible to me, even so I could still feel the auras of the other monsters that were in my area of detection ability. If this was indeed a natural fog in general, why Grandpa Hork and the other pasuka could not see it. It's not strange.

“There is a strange, Tyaga?” said Zonics.

I take a serious look at his face, “ansi honestly, did you see the fog around here?”

“No.”

“Once again no, am I the only one to see it. Shit,” umpatku.

“Wait, you said there was fog around here?”

“Iya, can you see it?” many ensure.

“I told you no. If there really is fog, surely we are serious?”

“Sure,” I replied for sure.

Actually I don't have much time to serve it. I decided to ask him to check where this fog came from. Earlier I wanted to meet Saigiri especially, because only he has the detection ability like me.

Hopefully he doesn't give an answer ‘no’. At least with his voice, I could confirm that I was not dreaming, and prepare for all the possibilities that would happen in the future. I will also tell Adellia, if I can prove it.
