Tales Of Schaduw: The Half - Elf

Tales Of Schaduw: The Half - Elf
Ch. 77 – Nights Arrived

Without feeling the time just pass. Dusk is always like this. Slowly come, then suddenly disappear and replaced by the dimness of the night, leaving nothingness.

Darkness quickly spread from every corner of the tree to leave no light.

Only dimly lit moonlight that was struggling breast pierced through twigs and dense foliage stretched.

Dark skies adorned with beautiful stars scattered to accompany the dashing king of the night that shines brightly spread the glittering light showering bental with peace and quiet.

Behind it all, darkness also peeked at me from behind the shadows of the trees.

Whether it is darkness in the form of monsters or indeed in the form of darkness, that certainly is not a place that we can enter carelessly.

“Journey is enough to get here only, it is impossible to penetrate this darkness despite using a torch.” Said Hans raising a clenched hand to stop the other troops.

“We will set up a tent here.” His impact faced us.

“But the night just changed, do we not stop too fast.” Reply Adellia, she looked clumsy to want to continue the journey.

“Understand Adellia.” Timpal Grandpa Hork approached him after getting off the horse.

“This is not a matter of tired or not we, but the night will be completely dark and gripping if we continue to travel." Grandpa Hork momentarily stopped his words.

"Can we not even get out of this forest alive, I can not guarantee our security and safety.” Added.

Then ending it with “Compensate is not a bad choice.”

“If possible we will continue the journey in the early morning blind.” Said Hans, he then went and tied his horse in one of the trees and followed by other troops.

Including me and Son, after completely confirming the back area with a torch and feeling safe, we tied the horses together.

It was a little backwards, at least if there was an attack from behind, the sound of the horses we can make an alarm.

Not so bad idea, rather than us having to do it ourselves when there is an impromptu attack.

“Son and Tyaga, you look for dry twigs, and also I ask one of the witches to use light magic until the campfire is available. Other troops help me to set up a rest tent and some danger alarm.” Hans shared the work for us to do.

“As safe as I?” Tanya Adellia offered herself.

“Oh yes you, Adellia. You help Aalisha and Saigiri to prepare dinner.” Hans reply was friendly.

“Good..” Adellia said, she then walked towards the horse carriage and helped them.

I was also quick to look for tree branches and some dry leaves, as well as Son who was so eager to pick up tree branches scattered on the ground.

Not content to find only a small tree branch, he climbed one of the trees and broke one branch that has a decent diameter if used as a bonfire.

But I keep warning him not to go too far and remain under the supervision of other friends.

“Out young man!” Say someone who emerges from the darkness.

“Sial! I thought who's Kek!” I was surprised to see the sightings of old grandfathers who had smelled the earth.

“Why are you so surprised?” The reply turned around to ask.

“How can I not be surprised! Your appearance surprised me so much, just being present made me sick.” I said as I stroked my chest and set my heart rate back to normal.

“You can also feel it right?” Strange question.

“Taste what?” Confused reply.

“Do not pretend not to know, young man. From the moment I had you, you always stared deep in the forest with a face that hid something.” Tandas Grandpa Hork.

He pointed in a direction that spread a negative aura and was quite strong. “There right?” Dismissed.

“What does Grandpa mean?” Then I turned my face and went back to looking for the branches scattered on the ground.

“You're special?” One last sentence came out of his mouth that left me momentarily stunned.

I'm speechless. The branches I brought down fell. Soon my mind regained consciousness and picked up the branches I had gathered.

“I don't know what Grandpa's talking about.” My words then left him, although the twigs I brought were still a little, but I was a little troubled by the words from Grandpa Hork.

I don't know what is disturbing, but he just asked and not strange in his words.

“Hei wait! Sorry if my words offend you a little.” Prevent Grandpa Hork from stopping my steps.

“Sorry Cake. I don't want to say it honestly. But I still don't know who I am. If there's anything strange about me, please don't mind it. I just want to live a normal life.” Reply glanced at him.

“And also... If Grandpa wants to know what's in there, Grandpa simply doesn't go there and disturb or enter his territory" I said

"His strength is far above the ruler we had met before. I'm just telling you, don't let one of your men act stupid." I continued my words.

"More you own cake, if you are still not too sure, do not obey your curiosity too much.” Imbuhku reminded Grandpa Hork and the troops he brought.

“I don't know it will cause an accident. Disasters are inevitable, but you know that knowledge can minimize them..."

"....If you don't want to tell me now, that's fine. I will no longer force you to speak. If you have any questions about the truth of the world, meet me" Grandpa Hork replied.

"I'll tell you everything I know.” Complete Grandpa Hork with a serious face mimic.

“You know if that ability is above strength. But you know what's above the ability itself?” Ask while looking at me.

“What is it?” My question's short.

“Oh young people, above ability there is knowledge.” Grandpa Hork replied with a smile and left me in the silence of the night.

“Quickly complete your task, all have been waiting for you.” It disappears with the shadows.

‘Pulling’, that's the word that describes my current mood.
