(22) Watch Out for Bad Dogs!

In every sense of tiredness that whack, there is always someone who is willing to be a buffer. Someone who is always there. When the heart needs a talking partner.

Time seems to pass so fast. Yesterday, we were still saying each other's names. But now, things are different. I hope this isn't just my alibi...

****

"Good morning..."

Currently, Adyra was sitting on the edge of her bedroom bed. With the typical disheveled hair of a new person waking up. Adyra flicked up her phone screen and smiled.

For some reason, suddenly there was something in his stomach that seemed to just want to come out. Sunday morning was brighter than usual. Although actually the sky is currently cloudy. There is a turbulent in his chest to make Adyra's heartbeat no longer rhythmic.

"Rho? You're still there, right?"

Adyra nodded, then brought the phone closer to the ear. "I-yes. I'm still here, really," he lamented.

Adyra's room space turned silent instantly. No sound could be heard from his ear drum. Adyra frowned, then checked her phone screen.

The phone's still on. But how come there is no sound?

"Andra...lo's still there, right?"

Andra immediately replied, "Yes, still."

"It's still there, why is it?"

"Gue's waiting."

Adyra's forehead was getting wrinkled, "Wait for what?"

There's a split second in there. Still quiet. Without noise. Then, Adyra heard a smooth grunting sound.

Before Adyra heard Andra say, "Nungguin lo bales said good morning too."

Adyra held her breath. Adyra's heart has sagged from its place.

••••••••

Andra smiled, while staring at the ceiling of her room. His body was lying on the bed with a blanket that was no longer because of its shape. His feet were crossed while dazzling, with a cellphone still attached to his ear.

"Rho? You're not sleeping anymore, are you?" he told Adyra by phone.

Andra chuckled silently, deliberately teasing Adyra who must have blushed her face. For some reason, Andra is very sure if Adyra is blushing now.

"No, it's."

"That means you're denger dong, what did I just say?"

Andra surrender. She held her own stomach as it started to hurt a little from holding back the laughter. Lately, Andra has been teasing Adyra a lot. Seeing her cheeks flushed, her eyes rounded in surprise, even with a gawking face that became a very pleasant object to look at for Andra. Making the mood of Andra that originally fell, became very drastic as if exposed to the eruption of an atomic bomb that could increase energy in his body.

"Youuhhh! Andra! I have to deposit first like that. Yes, yes, bye!"

"Loh, heh"

Andra thinned her lips after hearing the tone of the call cut off from her phone. Andra could not help but smile which again accidentally painted beautifully on both corners of her lips.

That girl is weird! I'm funny, he's like a hot worm. I'm romantic, he's even shy cat like a girl again proposed. Are all girls that way, huh?

Andra flinched in a daydream, as the door of her room was knocked from the outside. His gaze immediately led towards the door that was slightly opened because of someone.

"May Mama come in?" Andra was silent for a while, then sat her body down while nodding hinting if she allowed. Reya took out her body from the doorway, then closed it slowly.

"Here, milk for you." Andra frowned, as Reya thrust a glass of warm milk on the tray.

"Don't you know, I don't like milk."

Reya exhaled, pulled out her tray, then put it on the nightstand. Andra normalized her facial features, then put a pillow on her back so that she could lean on the headboard.

"It's chocolate milk" he said, sitting on Andra's bedside. "You know you don't like white milk, not chocolate milk."

"But milk is both." Andra snorted, looking at the milk glass again outstretched towards him.

Since childhood, Andra was not very fond of the sweet drink white. He was always nauseous when he imagined it to be so nauseating. "I'm so big. It is not a child anymore who should be choked milk so that pinter. Anyway, it's weird."

Reya smiled looking at Andra's sullen face which was very obvious. Turns out, Andra was still the same as her little Andra. Who always puffed his cheeks while pouting for being forced to drink milk.

"Andra must be diligent to drink milk so that it is as big as Papa." Andra covered her mouth with her palm then ran to hide her tiny body behind the big back of her Papa.

"Bad mama, Pa! Andra doesn't want to drink milk! It doesn't taste good!"

Reya held the balance of her hand as Andra kept the milk glass away from her face. At this time the child was busy playing mobile phones as if he did not pay attention to his whereabouts.

"Judah, don't want to." Reya gives up on Andra's refusal. His hand stretched out towards the nightstand and moved the tray into his lap.

He glanced at Andra for a moment, but Andra did not look back at him. As he almost got up from his sitting position, his movements came to a halt as something held his hand.

"This why?"

Andra touches Reya's wrist hidden behind her tray. The palm of the hand was slightly wrapped in bandages. And when Andra accidentally touched her, Reya frowned in pain.

"It's nothing, it's just-"

"Scald?"

Andra looked at Reya puzzled after opening a little bandage in the woman's hand. Reya just fell silent, pulled her hand and tidied up the bandages again as before.

"Here is the glass" Andra said as she tried to sip the glass of milk she had snatched. Reya looked at Andra in disbelief.

Andra frowned, as one gulp managed to escape from her throat.

Nothing is strange. It doesn't feel strange either. Sweet.

"Nake?" asked Reya expectantly.

Andra moved her lips away from the mouth of the glass, turned to Reya for a moment, then drank it back.

"It's a habit."

Reya smiled seeing Andra gulp her chocolate milk for almost half a glass. Andra yes Andra. Headstrong and god-level prestige.

"Lately, Mama's seen you smile a lot." Andra stopped, then looked at Reya for a moment. "Especially the time you just called the same"

"Mama danger?" cut Andra.

Reya nodded, "Not intentionally horrified. Why?"

"No papa."

Reya smiled amusedly at Andra's behavior. His hand stretched out toward the top of Andra's head, then rubbed it with anxiety. Andra immediately turned to look at Reya, a little longer. Their gazes collided, until finally Reya lowered her hand slowly.

Quite a long time silence enveloped them. Andra enjoyed her chocolate milk little by little without making a sound.

"I'm sorry, my mom was never there for you. Sorry for everything that happened. You should not be involved in situations that should not involve you. It's all Mama's fault. You're really. Your Papa's departure is also Mama-'s fault"

"The virus is abis. I'm gonna take a shower."

Andra held out her empty glass towards Reya, then roused her body from the bed. He walked towards the door with slow steps. After the door to her room was right in front of her, Andra paused for a moment and turned to look at Reya.

"Other times, be careful when pouring hot water." Reya who had originally lowered her head now raised her head. His eyes looked at Andra who was standing there.

"I love my mom's chocolate milk."

Andra touched the door algae and opened it. Now, Andra had completely disappeared from before Reya. Reya looked at her empty glass, then turned to stare at the palms of her hands with a smile.

•••••••

"Certainly? Do you believe that's the same guy as Andra? Who knows, he just wants to play! I'm sure she's being nice not just to one girl, but to thousands of girls! Come on, Ra... All guys are the same!"

Amy let out a rough breath ending her long lecture. His lips stretched out toward a glass of orange juice and sucked it greedily using a straw.

"Duh! What the hell?"

"You people say it's being shaken, not beaten!"

Adyra glanced at Amy for a while then pounced on her eyes while putting pieces of cucumber on top of her. "You want to talk about something that doesn't matter, what am I doing?"

"No importance said lo? Please go, Ra! It's even more than time and time again more important for your survival!"

"No need to be okay, My?"

Siska followed the limb with a lot of snacks that filled her arms. Right now, his mouth was almost full of potato chips then took a seat right next to Amy.

"Whisper lo!"

Siska laughed without regard to Amy's increasingly laughable wry face. "But in my opinion, you have it too. Andra can only do it, Ra. All this time, Andra has always been indifferent to you. Be so often."

"No, it's tuh!" Amy pumping.

"But make a sentence lo that if Andra is sweet not only with one girl, but thousands of girls, it seems impossible, deh."

Amy turned, "Impossible what?"

"Everyone knows who Andra was, including me. And you know yourself, he never wanted to be dekidin a little with girls. Especially held, even if it's just nenggol and not intentionally."

"In this world, there is no such thing as IMPOSSIBLE. Especially for a creature called a MAN. That guy's unpredictable, Siska baby.... He can seem very quiet in front of us. But behind us? No one can guarantee how he actually behaves..."

Siska and Adyra were flabbergasted to see the look on Amy's face turning serious. It is undeniable even though Amy looks the most bego and slow, but actually on the other hand she has a very sensitive feeling and has mature thoughts.

They were glaring at each other meaningfully making Amy stare in horror. "No need to see it too. Lo serem!"

Adyra exhaled, then slightly pulled the corner of her right lip. "Lo bener's. What you said just now is all true. We can only value people to the extent of what we see, not to the extent of what they have in mind."

Amy pulls both corners of her lips, then hugs Adyra's body. "Sorry if I think it's very good. It's like I'm talking about the most real person in the world. But I just don't want to see you disappointed."

Siska put a snack in her hand, then joined hugging each other by pressing tighter. "If he really likes you, he might not know about your birthday!"

Amy nodded vigorously with a sparkling look, "Good idea!"

Adyra smiled briefly then drowned her head in the middle of their embrace. For a moment, the ringing of Adyra's phone interrupted him. Adyra grabbed her phone rough, then picked it up.

"Hello?"

There was a short pause, before Amy and Siska frowned at the same time. Seeing Adyra's body suddenly tense with both eyeballs that are patterned, they become suspicious. "Who's on the phone?"

Adyra snorted and grimaced in horror, "Andra."

••••••

Andra leaned her back next to the door while folding her hands in front of her chest after calling Adyra, informing her that Andra had arrived at her doorstep. Andra kept her arrival a secret. He wanted to see how Adyra reacted when she came to his house all of a sudden.

Andra straightened her body hearing the door open. Andra put on her sweet look with a smile, deliberately so as not to damage the atmosphere of the morning that was again bright.

The door opened, along with an interested smile at the corner of Andra's lips. But a moment later, his roaring smile was replaced with his astonished expression.

Andra gulped her saliva with great difficulty, rubbing her eyes. "Lo... satan?"

Andra dared to swear that this is still morning and his whole life he was never convicted with Ki Joko Bodo because he had a sixth sense. He also did not pass through the graveyard on the way to Adyra's house.

But these? A pale white-faced creature was standing before him wearing a baby doll hello kitty complete with hair rolls all over his head.

Andra's wild fantasies that like to see horror films also follow the talk, Since when does Kuntilanak like nyalon?

Amy nudged Siska's arm beside her to stop laughing at her. "Fuck your teeth?! I'm Amy, bego! Beautiful girl Gini is called a demon."

Andra raised her right eyebrow, "Lo why am I bego?"

There was not the slightest jolting tone from Andra's sentence. But, he managed to make Amy's hair bristle instantly.

Amy scratched her nape did not itch, then cleared slowly melt. "What are you doing here?" he said divert the conversation.

"Where's avyra?"

Andra is the type of person who does not like to waste his time with cheap pleasantries when talking to people he does not know.

"Adyra is not home. You're doing si-"

"Who isn't home?"

Adyra appeared in the middle of Siska and Amy who were blocking the door. This morning, Adyra looks so sweet with a loose-fitting long-sleeved t-shirt and her shorts.

"The deal wasn't like that!" hiss Amy by Adyra's ears. Siska also followed him by looking at him annoyed until Adyra put on a smile and look innocent. "Yes, the hell."

"Lo's busy?" Andra.

Adyra replied with a smile and said, "No, no. Why?"

"Gue wants to take the road, will you?"

Adyra smiled, "No!"

I swear, it wasn't Adyra talking. Adyra glances at Amy and Siska, who are willing to take on Andra's dating offer.

"Why are you both?"

"Elo what's the matter?" Amy's eyeballs whirled, "Feelings yesterday you story about abis the same way Andra. Now, Weeks-Sunday also want to walk too? The road is dry. Saturday-Sunday again like the schedule of the holiday of children of the victims of Fullday School!"

Siska held back her laughter hearing Amy's deadly cerocos. I know so well jones!

Adyra stomped on Amy's soles until she grimaced in pain. While Andra, she just put on a flat look regardless.

"Gue don't wear gini clothes, do you?" Adyra asked, wanting to know what Andra thought of her clothes.

"What you wear is beautiful."

Adyra smiled and blushed shyly heard Andra's frontal speech. Siska put on a look of disdain beside her. While Amy has been flocking various vows plus garbage with her lips without a sound.

"Okay, I'll get the bag first."

Adyra enters the house leaving Andra with Amy and Siska alone. The two of them threw intimidating gazes at Andra as if to tear her body apart.

"Did you both think I was like that? Wh why? Don't like?"

They don't heed Andra's insinuations. Chose indifferently without turning his sharp gaze away.

"Awas if you take Adyra to a strange place," snapped Siska.

"Awas aja if you take Adyra to a quiet place," Amy homp-ngompori.

"Well if you take Adyra to a dangerous place." Amy mangosteen.

"Well if you take Adyra to a dark place."

Siska mangosteen, but then his forehead immediately frowned. "It's still morning, My. Where is there dark?"

"Yes, who knows if he took Adyra to the basement or something. Oh, or gini! even worse, he could enter Adyra into a sack of rice continuously pickled. It's dark!"

Andra did not think. Adyra has a strange nature. Look, tuh! People are just like aliens.

"Okay, I'm ready!" Adyra walked out the door, then smiled at Andra.

He waved his hand at Amy and Siska who were looking at him wryly before riding on Andra's big bike.

Amy shouted, before Andra and Adyra completely disappeared from before her, "Be careful, Ra! Watch out for the fierce dog!"

Amy instantly silenced her mouth when she saw Andra glancing at her with a deadly gaze of a high-voltage electric tub.
