(15) Which is Torturing

"Lo don't eat, Bar?"

"No."

"Why?"

"Lustless!"

"Oh."

Bara rolled his eyes lazily for the umpteenth time. The guy just snorted looking at the two of them sitting across the table. Once they lyrically, laugh-laugh, diem-dieman, eat, keep laughing again, eat again, bribes like a baby, and. argghhhh! There are still many more things that they both do to make Bara cobble himself.

"Andra, do you like sushi?"

"Like," in short while nodding.

Adyra looked at Andra enthusiastically. "You want to try my sushi?"

Andra just nodded in response. Adyra immediately clamped a piece of sushi with fresh salmon on it using chopsticks painstakingly. Hap! One mouthful landed right in Andra's mouth.

Andra gave her smile in silence, as she looked at the beautiful Bara while slamming her fork on the plate.

Adyra frowned, disturbed by Bara's activities. "Lo why the hell, Bar?"

"No papa" short Bara.

"You were bribed too the time he was!" This time, Andra was following along. Bara glanced at Andra cynically while Adyra looked at Bara questioningly. "So you want to be bribed too?"

A glimmer of smile was painted on Bara's face. The man nodded enthusiastically in response. Adyra had taken a piece of sushi from her plate, making Bara get ready to take the bribe by opening her mouth slightly wide.

Adyra's mouth was already drifting towards Bara's mouth. But, Bara had not had time to receive sushi from Adyra, a spoonful of fried rice that was suddenly thrust into his mouth and made both eyes look upset.

Adyra was stunned for a moment, then giggled with all her teeth because of Andra's treatment which suddenly fed a spoonful of fried rice in Bara's mouth. Andra raised only one eyebrow in response to Adyra's amused expedition and Bara's urgency.

"Didn't he say he wanted to be bribed, did he?" andra asked as if she did not feel guilty.

Adyra increasingly wanted to laugh at Andra's flat expression which seemed as if nothing had happened. Bara squeezed his hand, like non-jok face Andra right then and there. "Lo—"

"Telen first, Bar! A sprain!"

•••

Andra put a leather jacket on her body while looking at Adyra. "Lo home sama—"

"Adyra's coming home with me."

Bara immediately interrupted Andra's words before the man finished talking. Andra only glanced at Bara briefly, with no intention of replying. "Because he's a macem, a lemarin aja a live cockroach to his face. Later also kicep."

Adyra gave an enthusiastic look. "Bara's afraid of cockroaches?" exciting Adyra.

Andra gave a small smile looking at Adyra's expression. "Who said I'm afraid of cockroaches?" Interrupting does not agree.

Andra narrowed her eyes, grinning. "You sure you're not afraid? Not that time lo sempet—"

"Home home there! Just bother, you!"

Andra had a momentarily slanted smile towards Bara, before the guy completely disappeared from the cafe doorstep. Bara glanced at Adyra, with serious eyes. "Don't get me wrong, Ra. I'm just ticklish, not scared."

Bara snorted, looking at Adyra who was still giggling without caring about her statement. 'Fuck the Andra'. "Yes already. I'll wait in the car," to Bara and walk ahead of Adyra.

A sweet smile expands from both corners of Adyra's lips. Lie if Adyra doesn't feel happy tonight. The proof, his lips always review the smile to see the behavior of the two of them. Although they still often argue or bicker, but at least they are not fighting jotos here.

The night is getting late. Adyra decided to immediately approach Bara's car and go home. But before his palm reached the door handle, his body nailed as it felt a light touch on his shoulder.

"It looks like you're really happy." Adyra turned her head, revealing a smile for someone in front of her.

"Did you manage to get rid of it... Dimas?" said again.

The smile on Adyra's face vanished gradually. His shoulders sagged instantly, as if shedding a burden that made him seem to suffer.

Adyra showed her smile again. But this time, maybe his smile was a bit forced. "Sister Ndo, when did you get back to the cafe?!" Adyra started, shifting the subject. "Gue kangen tauk, same brother! Same thing, snub nose! Nothing has changed."

Nando chuckles at Adyra's joke. Nando is not a guy who lies easily. Although the girl smiled, but her smile did not reach her eyes. Adyra was just happy as it seemed, but somehow her inner state.

"Lo is the same, Ra. I still love talking!" Nando pulled Adyra's nose so stiff that he made the girl grimace.

"Gue seneng see you can laugh off like that." Nando paused slightly with a sigh. "Andra's a good boy, really. Yeah, even if it's a little cold and sniffy by the way."

Adyra frowning. "Lo know Andra, sister?"

Nando nodded. "He's been here a lot."

Adyra smile. "It turns out, God is still good with me, brother."

Nando frowned, looking at Adyra who was smiling meaningfully. "When God takes some of the people I love, God still lets me be surrounded by people who are good to me. And one of them is Elo."

Nando smiled faintly. It was as if I felt what Adyra was feeling. His chest was as if squeezed, seeing the bitter smile that was seen on the girl's face. "Dimas emang bego because already left a girl as good as elo."

"Yes, he's a big bego, sister," Adyra's snort was accompanied by a little ticklish.

Nando compensated for the girl's laughter for a moment, then touched Adyra's shoulder. "Any-fuck Dimas, I hope you never hate him."

Adyra was dumbstruck, digesting the sentence she just heard.

Hate it?

Adyra smiled bitterly in silence.

He wasn't even sure he could erase all his feelings for Dimas. Replace everything with hate?

Almost near impossible.

"Gue's learning to eat him again, not hate him."

Adyra patted Nando's shoulder steadily. It was as if the sentence he had just said was true. No one is trying to cover up.

Adyra smiled briefly, then left her place standing while waving her hand. Nando just smiled bitterly looking at Adyra's shoulder that looked shaking like it was holding back sobs.

"Originally you know, Ra. Dimas never really left your life."

Andra took off the full face helmet attached to her head by putting on a face sumringah. That thin smile was always painted on the corner of Andra's lips without being asked.

Adyra is magical! I don't know what magic the girl used until Andra who incidentally most anti-smile, now turned back. Fortunately, the oats did not come back either.

"Well! There's another one, huh?"

Reya-Mama Andra appeared from the doorway after opening it. Showing a sweet smile aimed at welcoming his eldest son.

"You Mama you said it was taken, not taken."

There was a hint of shock in Andra's eyes when she saw a man sitting leisurely on the sofa. Arya—suami Reya, gazing at the friendly Andra with one of her hands busy holding a cup of coffee. "No cuddling Papa first?"

Andra raised the corner of her right lip, forming a smile. Until the moment the man was about to catch Andra's body to embrace, Andra instead raised her hand hinting to stop. "Not bother. There's no point in you looking in front of me."

Andra breezed away leaving silence in the living room. But Andra's footsteps became heavy, as if someone was holding her back. "If you can't respect me as your Papa, at least respect me as someone older than you, Andra!" furious Aryan.

Andra grunting. "I'd rather respect my biological Papa than respect a stepparent like you."

"You—"

"Master, Madam! That's. in Non's room.. Kanya.. dia—"

"Why, Bi?"

Reya immediately cut Bi Sumi's words out of the blue. There was a worried look on their faces as Bi Sumi mentioned Kanya's name in her sentence.

"WHAT'S WRONG?" Andra snapped, shaking Bi Sumi's shoulder a little hard.

Bi Sumi lowered her head agitatedly. "Non Kanya's..."

"Thank you."

Bara frowned at Adyra's statement. "Make what?"

"Make the date, do it!"

"No need to thank you for the worst date that happened the first time in my life."Adyra giggled as she looked at Bara's sour face as she brought up the word update.

"Yes already. Go home, it's too bad!"

"Yes already. Sleep there, it's too bad!" said Bara follow.

"Yes already."

Adyra ended their conversation by opening the car door, then walking towards her house.

"Ra?"

Adyra. "What?"

"Good night, Rara's beautiful."

Adyra was stunned at the same time. A short, dense, clear sentence made his chest feel tight. Bara's gone, driving his car away from Adyra.

Adyra had heard this phrase from someone different before. Same words, and in the same mood.

Good night, Rara is beautiful.

A drop of clear liquid flowed in the corner of his eye involuntarily. His mind was running everywhere. That name, that sentence..

Rara's.

Rara's.

Rara's.

A simple name, which always makes Adyra remember someone.

Andra was glued to the back of the girl who was sitting sweetly before him. Andra put her foot in, and approached the girl.

"Have you?"

Andra got closer, because Kanya never spoke. Andra was surprised to see the girl's sad face. It was as if something was piercing his chest viciously when he saw both of Kanya's eyes being swollen with tears. He was crying, without a sound. The girl stared straight at the window with tears that never subsided.

"Why not eat?" lirih Andra tried to smile in front of her. Kanya grinned little in her tears without looking back at Andra. "Make what?"

Andra squatted a little and aligned her body with Kanya. "You eat, huh? Let it not hurt." Andra thrust out a plate containing a portion of dinner.

"Even if I've eaten, I'm going to get sick too, right?" He started looking at Andra. "Can Brother guarantee? If I can recover after I eat?"

"Her.."

"Can you guarantee that I can walk normally again after I eat?"

"Sayang—"

"Can't, right?!" Kanya was a little screaming. "I'll be paralyzed like now! So what am I eating for? Why do I feel alive when I am no longer useful? Why did God only take my foot's function? Why didn't God take my life at that time?!"

Andra pulled Kanya in an embrace with a single bang. Andra let her younger sibling—Kanaya Adelia, crying out loud. Honestly Andra can not see Kanya slumped in a problem that Andra himself can not afford to face.

"Don't ever say that again in front of Big Brother!"

"It's true, I'm useless!" Kanya took off the grip roughly. "I'm tired of living like this."

"KANAYA, DENGERIN BROTHER!" Kanya was stunned as Andra shook both of her shoulders. "When have you been so weak?"

Andra sighed, looking at Kanya deeper. "God has thousands of ways to manage one's life. Destiny is not easy. You're not the only one suffering here..."

Kanya looked at Andra with regret. He's correct. Not only did Kanya suffer here, but Andra did too. Her brother would feel the same pain if he continued to behave this way.

Andra let go of her hand on Kanya's shoulder, then rubbed the top of the girl's head affectionately. "Don't waste your life doing useless things. Regret will not change anything, as long as you are still silent and do not want to face problems."

Kanya squeezed the side of her wheelchair. He was indeed a fool, having almost given up on the circumstances. The girl slid both her shoulders loose. His head fell down a moment later.

Andra smiled briefly, then kissed Kanya's forehead a little longer to just channel her feelings of regret to the girl.

Andra stepped out of Kanya's room. But, his steps stopped for a moment when he saw Reya and Arya who stood up while hugging, with Reya's eyes moist with tears.

They took off the hiccups on each shoulder slowly, after they realized Andra's presence there. Silence still dominates. Andra left without saying a word.

The night is getting late with a flash of nothingness. The winds that go in and out fill the pores of the skin, creating a cold feeling that seems to be piercing.

The beautiful moonlight that befriends thousands of stars, making the night atmosphere more dark. Only they can shine. Comforting the heart that is lonely.

Adyra stood on the balcony of her room, looking at the beauty of the night and occasionally rubbing her arms swept by the night wind. His eyes closed, momentarily exhaling his breath slowly as if he wanted to release the burden.

"What's wrong, if I start falling for someone, at a time when the heart can't completely erase the memories?"
