(19) The Heart Attack

Andra walked out of her room in hasty steps. While allowing the buttoned up shirt to fall apart, Andra went down the stairs and walked towards the dining room.

“Hurry really, Sister?”

Andra allowed the collar of her shirt and then styled her hair briefly. “Iya, it's late.”

“Neating first?”

Andra paused her activity for a moment, staring at the few people who were in the dining room. Everything is complete, including Reya and Arya. Andra's view stops on Kanya's face, “Later in the canteen.”

Andra gulped down a glass of milk that was on the table just to prop her stomach. Andra ruffled Kanya's hair slowly before she left the house.

“If you do not want to eat, please bring the bread..” Andra stopped her steps, when she heard Reya's voice interrupting her. Andra turned to look at the piece of bread that had been smeared with chocolate jam on the plate.

Reya sighed, as Andra turned her face away without taking the bread she offered. Kanya looked at Reya in sympathy with a smile. While Arya rubbed her shoulders slowly calmed down.

Reya put the loaf of bread on the table because Andra did not take it. But a moment later, before the plate landed right on the table, Andra picked it up and ate it.

Everyone who was there was shocked. Andra chewed the first bite of her bread while thinning her lips towards Reya. “Still the bread, Ma..

He took a glass of water and gulped it down. For a moment, his mind was confused. That's really Andra, right? Kanya swallowed the water with difficulty while shaking her head in disbelief. His eyeballs stared at Reya, until he found a line of smiles there.

For the first time, you can smile to your eyes....

“Huh!”

Andra regulated her irregular breathing roar. Because he was late, the gate was closed. And because the gate is closed, inevitably have to climb the side wall of the school. The guy picked up his backpack, then patted his slightly dirty white shirt.

“Pak! I'm only five minutes late, time punished, anyway?!” Andra frowned as her ears picked up a very familiar voice.

“You're five minutes, cake! Take a minute, cake! Second, cake! If it's too late! Don't wear it!”

Adyra snorted in annoyance, “If I am punished, later miss the lesson, dong! Do you not feel sorry for me?”

“Salah herself left late! Already there run around the field five times round!” sulek Pak Darto firmly.

“Times five times anyway, sir. Twice, yes?” Adyra put on a hard look.

“You guess what market to use is bid on everything!” Mr. Darto glared while confirming the location of his glasses.

“Run right now or I add the punishment to double!”

Adyra swallowed her saliva.

The girl put her backpack on a long bench on the edge of the field, then swiped her hair so as not to feel angry.

Adyra started running half-heartedly while wiping away the sweat that soaked her forehead. You cruel Pak Darto! He didn't know what this field was like? Can be a foot! The fiery Batin Adyra.

Andra watched Adyra who was running alone beside another class who was doing sports learning in the field. Some of the students who were exercising looked at him indifferently, but there were also some who looked at him interested. Yes he is interested! People like that are beautiful. Andra.

For a moment, his mind gnawed at the guilt towards the girl. Maybe if he hadn't driven Adyra home late last night, he wouldn't have ended up tragically on the pitch like this.

Andra folded her arms in front of her chest while looking at Adyra's irritated expression. A moment later, he smiled as an idea flashed through his mind.

••••

“Pak Darto, yes! You don't know how big this field is? Just twice my daughter was bored, how about five?” Adyra slightly bowed while regulating the roar of her breath.

“No tolerance for students who violate school rules. Run or I add, nih!”

“I—iya, deh! Very fierce Father!”

“Ya is already there! Why is it still here?”

Adyra poked her lips, looked at Mr. Darto who was teaching cynically, then continued his sentence.

“Capek really, yes?”

Adyra grunt rough, “Ya according to lo, dry me until the flood kayak gini it falls into the category of tired or tired?”

“Yes, sorry about it.”

“Not to apologize, like aja lebaran!”

“Gue apologise for semalem.”

Adyra frowned confusedly. “Emang lo what is semalem?”

“Take you to the field to watch the stars until you go home late at night.” Adyra steps stopped, “Lo is still inget, right?”

Adyra immediately turned her face and was slightly surprised to see Andra standing beside her. Two buttons over his shirt were open until his inner white shirt was seen, with a little sweat running down the eel, plus his distinctive hair that was disheveled but the fall looked cool.

Adyra's face instantly heated up.

“Lo what is here?!” adyra asked after she regained consciousness from a moment ago thinking no fuss for not focusing.

“Lari.”

Adyra eyeballs spinning, “Ya, why do you run?”

Andra brushed her hair back with her fingers. “Ya.. punished.”.

That's why Andra is so macho, even if it's a dry! Adyra swallowed her hard-earned saliva while opening her eyes takjup.

Adyra's skin felt like she was being stung by an electric eel as Andra patted her cheek. Steadyfar, bego! This is not the time to digress, said the good elf on the side of Adyra's right ear with a murmur.

Andra clapped her hands in front of Adyra's face until the girl gasped. “Cock dumb, anyway?!”

“Hei! The one there!” They turned their heads simultaneously to see Mr. Darto running around to them.

“Not carrying out the punishment even chat!” snapped Pak Darto into Adyra's face. “You too! Not even going to class here! Want to skip your lesson, huh?!” His view was shifted to Andra.

“I'm here precisely to carry out the punishment for being late, not truant,” said Andra.

“Toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! My people didn't see you at the gate! Don't try to lie to me, yes!”

“Who also lied Mr.” Andra blinked seeing Adyra frowning in confusion. “I'm late, sir, because I woke up last night. If you don't see me at the gate, obviously! My guy jumped the side fence of the school so as not to be caught.”

Adyra gawked at Andra's confession. Wait for. Wait for. Andra said you jumped the side fence at the school? Isn't the fence there really high, huh?

“Basic brash student! So you jump the fence so you don't get caught?!” Andra grimaced as her ears warmed from being picked.

“Still mending me jump the fence to enter the school, not out the school.”

“Still able to rub again you!”

Mr. Darto increasingly hardened the jewel in Andra's ear until slightly reddened. “Ouch! Ow hell! That's dong, sir! I also ngaku. Just give me what a hard punishment, anyway!”

“Ya already is! You ran around the field eight times! No tolerance and no protest!”

“Neventful so ten nih, sir? Okay, easy.”

Andra immediately carried out his sentence with pleasure while Adyra was still silent as if she did not know the way home.

“Ngapain you're still here! Run along! You're still three rounds short.” Mr. Darto ruffled his waist in front of Adyra while putting on a fierce look.

Seeing Adyra who was still silent, Andra immediately took the initiative to pull the girl's hand. “Yes already, let's run!”

“Lo seriously abis skip school side fence?”

“Iya.”

“What's it wearing?”

“Legs.”

“Down?”

“Weave feet.”

“Emang didn't fall? Is there a sprain? Your feet are not papa, right? Is anyone sick?”

“No, ordinary aja.”

Adyra glanced at Andra with a confused look. Seeing the guy react that casually, he might not be okay.

“While! Jump pager so high is said to be ordinary. I suspect you have mental-mental maling.”

Andra immediately turned her head towards Adyra, looking at the girl with a squeak on the forehead. Andra laughed after seeing Adyra's strange expression. Adyra frowned dislike because she felt laughed at.

“Where is the maling as good as me?”

“Ada.”

“Who?”

“Lo.”

“Emang I maling what?”

“Mind my heart!”

Andra paused for a moment and laughed afterwards. Adyra laughs while carrying out her sentence.

Unknowingly, they have become the object of conversation among a group of Pancasila students who are also in the field with them. Not a few of them who capture photos of Andra and Adyra on their phones for gossip material on social media or school mading and the like.

Unfortunately, Andra and Adyra did not care about it. They are more interested in dissolving into their own conversation, as if the world were privately owned.

••••

“Have to be so, yes, lo so trending topic in insta story same guy sengak it, huh?!” Amy's starting to freak out.

“Lo by what, anyway? I do not understand,” said Adyra while sipping orange juice from a glass using a milk-white pipette.

“Nih, look!” Siska thrust her phone into Adyra. “Almost all the stories in the instagram of Pancasila High School children, there is a photo lo same Andra again run while laughing. Miss Rumpi is not excited look ginian!”

“Emang very less work, anyway they. Want to know about people's business!” Adyra returns Siska's phone to her owner's hand and continues her meatball feed.

“Yes clear, lah! Andra is always a trending topic anywhere. Want instagram, path, twitter, facebook, and many others deh!”

“Who does not know Andra? A headmaster at one of the most prestigious High Schools in Bandung. Bu Reya also has famous boutiques that branch everywhere. Not to mention his stepfather who owned a famous property company. Where is he handsome again!”

Siska rolled her eyeballs looking at Amy's flirtatious expression which seemed to make her vomit. “Geli really, lo! Fancies the same om-om!”

Amy pouts, “Gue has no crush, just says she's handsome!”

“Wait a minute, deh! You mean, Andra has a stepdad?” ask Adyra in the end after a long time listening without paying attention.

They nodded simultaneously. “Iya, lo new tau?”

“Why did Bu Reya get married again?”

Amy shakes her head, “No idea. Maybe split times, same birth papa Andra.”

Siska nodded in agreement. “Or.... was there one of them cheating?”

“Ih! Why so elo gossip anyway, Ka?!” Amy sneered.

“Free nebak doang, also.”

For a moment, Adyra's mind was fixated on the incident she accidentally saw the other day in the school hallway.

Adyra tidied up her grey shirt and skirt after stepping out the toilet door.

“Jaga your mouth! He's your Papa!” Adyra averted her gaze when she accidentally heard the voice of someone behind the wall she was sitting on.

“He's not my Papa!” That's Andra's voice? Adyra frowning. “Arya was just a stranger, who came to my life at the time of Papa's departure. And the reason Papa left me, it was all because of MAMA! Because of Mama's dark relationship with her!”

Adyra smothered her mouth when she heard the sound of a loud slap back there. After that, he heard the sound of footsteps running towards him.

Adyra close her body to the wall to see Andra walking far to her left with her palm clenched perfectly.

“HOI!” Adyra gasped slightly as Amy nudged hard on her shoulder. “Kok daydreamed, anyway! Think what hayo?”

“You know aja.”

Adyra continued her meatball feed half-heartedly. For some reason, to be honest he became worried after hearing this.

••••

“Adyra! Please take all these books to the library, yes! Inget, don't let anyone miss!”

Adyra nodded obediently and smiled. “Iya, Mum.”

Adyra brought along a stack of taskbooks and some thick papers with the pedestal of both hands. The girl had a little trouble walking, as the pile of books she was carrying almost covered her eyes.

“Need help?”

“Bby. Thanks, yes!” adyra said directly without further ado. “Loh, elo?!”

Andra raised one eyebrow while her hand received a portion of the stack of books from Adyra. “Why? Ordinary times surprised.”

Adyra snorted, “Lo why is it here? The bell came in! Not even going to class. Stupid, yes, lo?!”

Andra looked relaxed. “The curve is not in.”

“Emang not given the task?”

“Nggak.”

“Ya, but you can not be in the class only do not need to crawl outside!”

Andra's eyeballs are spinning, “Bawel really, anyway! The teacher just did not bother, why be a complicated lo?”

Adyra pouted, “Yes aja ordinary time, no need to nyolot!”

Andra smiled faintly looking at Adyra's lips which began to snout like a duck. “Where is the book taken?”

“Perpus.”

“Tumben brief.”

“Whispering!”

Andra chuckled amusedly at the expression on Adyra's face which was very laughable. Andra equalled her steps with Adyra. But at the same time, Adyra also accelerated her footsteps.

“Heh?!”

Andra stopped her steps as she saw all the books she was carrying were already scattered on the floor.

“M—maaf, Andra. I was not on purpose.” The girl lowered her head hiding her face afraid of looking at Andra.

“What's up, anyway?” Adyra joined nimbrung when she heard the screams of Andra that was so deafening her ear drum.

“Too the road pack the eyes, not a snoring pack! You don't know if I'm in front of you, huh?!” Andra murmured further raising the octave of her voice.

Adyra sighed harshly looking at the girl who hit Andra earlier with a worried look. “Lo is not papa, right?”

“No papa, really. Let me get it right!”

“Gue helpin, yes!”

Andra frowned in surprise to see Adyra's renspon that was very unexpected. “Kok you even help him, anyway?”

Adyra received the book that the girl had proffered, then transferred it into Andra's hands. Adyra let the girl go without caring about Andra's sharp gaze which was not curled up.

“Ya already, anyway. He also apologized.”

“Apologies?” Andra smiled cynically, “Lo guess, all problems can be solved by themselves just with an apology?”

Adyra's steps immediately stopped. She accidentally remembers her chat with Amy and Siska in the cafeteria.

Adyra turned her body, then walked towards Andra. “Sorry you can't change anything. But at will, you appreciate people who claim he's wrong, than those who pretentiously admit he's real.”

Adyra raised next to her eyebrows, “Lo knows I mean?”

Andra was silent for quite a while while looking back at Adyra. ‘Gue doesn't know what's on your mind right now. What do you know about my life?’

••••

By perpus.

“Again?”

Andra glances at a glance, “Again search comics.”

Adyra placed the pile of books she had brought earlier on the perpus guard table while frowning in wonder. “It turns out, guys fight like you like to read too, huh? Yes... although the reading is not far from the genre of fantasy and detective style that there are fights also.”

Andra raised a little corner of her lips, “Rather than I read a love-love comic that there are only dramatic scenes equally crying.”

“But it's romantic, tau!”

“Romantis part where?” Andra pulled a book from the shelf in front of her. “Lo means that part.... kiss it yes?” andra whispered right next to Adyra's ear.

Adyra blushing, “Gue sure not only me who often read that part.”

Andra smiled faintly as she looked at the hue on Adyra's face. Plus the tone of Adyra's speech that seemed to misbehave because of nervousness, making Adyra look different in Andra's eyes at this time.

Adyra looks so sweet.

“Andra, may I ask you something?” Andra was a little surprised, but a moment later she managed to cover it with her usual flat expression. “Hm.”

“What makes you cool with others?”

Andra puffed her hand to pull a book off the shelf because of Adyra's question. “Why are you like that?”

Adyra thinning lips, “Ya, curious aja.”

Andra pulled one of her eyebrows and turned her gaze toward the line of books before her. “Ya why also act kindly with people I do not know.”

“Ya, but you can be friendly even though you do not know people, right?”

“Ngot able.” Andra turns her body to face Adyra, “Gue just wants to be nice in front of the people I like.”

Adyra squinting, “So... you just want to be sweet in front of people you like?” Andra nodded.

Suddenly a mischievous idea pops into Adyra's head. He grinned while looking at Andra. “So... do I also include people who like, considering lately you often behave sweetly with me?”

Andra frowning, “When do I behave sweet same lo?”

“No need to pretend to bego, deh!” Adyra's eyeballs spinning, “Often nawarin I canteengan, smiling when chatting with me, watching the stars semalem, the same nemenin I was punished earlier, you have forgotten?”

Adyra put on a sullen face so Andra had to hold back her smile because of her prestige. “Oh, just by chance my mood is good.”

“Ngeles really, anyway! Why ajalah! I was caught too,” said Adyra kepedean while menoel-noel prank shoulder Andra.

Adyra immediately lowered her hand spontaneously with Andra's gripping gaze. Adyra's brain responds backwards as Andra's feet slowly approach. Their sight still collided until Adyra's back could not retreat anymore due to hitting the bookshelf. Adyra gulped her hard-earned saliva as their faces were barely spaced.

“Lo—mau what?”

“Lo want me to do it, right?”

Adyra gnashing, “Tapi—“

“Gue has never felt as comfortable as this time together with other people, let alone the same girl. And just in front of you, I can be myself.”

The wind let their breaths collide with each other. “Gue do not know, whether I have started to like you or even have fallen in love with you, I do not know. But, I want you to know one thing.”

“A—apa?”

Adyra squealed as Andra propped one of her hands on Adyra's right side. “Gue seneng can know lo.”

Andra further diluted the distance, then picked up the book she had pulled on Adyra's right-hand side shelf. Adyra scrunched her forehead while gnashing in disbelief. Andra smiled faintly, then stepped away from Adyra.

Adyra pressed her chest while regulating the roar of her breath. The girl grumbled, “Andra gelo! If my heart is dislodged from its place how is it going?”
