After dinner that night, Alzam did not take Vero directly home, but they instead stopped by somewhere first.

And slowly Alzam took off Vero's embrace and turned to stare at Vero intensely. At once Vero's heart beat because it was quickly looked at so deeply by Alzam. Slowly the distance between them began to erode. Vero suddenly became panicked, when only a few inches away between him and Alzam, Vero quickly shifted his face.

Alzam who realized it suddenly made him shocked and awkward. He felt that Vero was rejecting him at this moment. Vero quickly distracted her.

Somehow he felt unwilling if he was touched by someone else. It's a different feeling when she's with Qian. He enjoyed every second of their time together, but why was he so with Alzam. Wasn't Alzam the man he once loved? Is this a sign that she can't turn away from Qian? Ah, it turns out that heart problems are not something that is easy to overcome.
