At night, Qian returned to the hospital. He walked in indifferently, without a care with the eyes of the nurses staring in admiration at him.
"She's the naughty version of Doctor Alzam. But it looks more handsome and comfortable, doesn't it?" muttered as Qian passed.
"Thankfully his wife,"
"The wife is beautiful too. Compared far to us," added another.
As for Qian, he had gotten further and further away. He passed through the hall long enough to get to the nursery of Vero who was in the back. Separated from the other rooms.
So they use the concept of a pavilion that is far from the other room and separate. This is usually used for special patients who do not want their privacy to be compromised during treatment. Or often used for special hospital guests who come to visit.
This room is already Maya prepared long day for Vero.
As Qian passed by a small bridge as she was about to head to Vero's ward, Qian passed by her mother who had just finished seeing their guest staying at one of the pavilions there.
As he saw Qian pass by him without greeting. And act like he doesn't see his mother at all. It made Maya feel upset.
"Tomorrow your wife, go home. Don't forget to take care of the administration before you go home. Coincidentally the room you occupied was 2 million one night," said Maya who successfully made Qian stop her steps and turned to look at Maya.
"Of course I'll pay. WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO, why should it be free, this is not a social parlor, is not it," circus Qian who successfully silenced Maya instantly. Maya was stunned for a moment until she finally woke up and smiled gracefully.
"It's good that you understand!" sahut Maya tries to keep looking calm.
After she finished talking Maya immediately stepped away gracefully covering her regret with a sardonic smile.
Qian squinted her eyes at her mother's departure.
"God! That's outrageous!" sumpat Qian was upset. And he went back on his way again.
Arriving in the room, Qian noticed Vero was still trying to breastfeed her baby. He did not say hello because Vero was still cold to him.
"Mama can go home if Mama is tired. I'll take a taxi for Mama. Tomorrow I don't work" Qian said.
Vero who was sitting on the bed could not bear to not react.
"Mom lives here. Let him go" said Vero, who began to show opposition.
"Vero!" refute Mama Jill glared her eyes at Vero with a slight snapping. He turned to look at Qian with a smile. "It just so happens that my mom has been tired all day. Mama just go home, tomorrow Mama's back again," middle Mama Jill.
"Stay away from me. Don't ever see me and my son. Don't look yourself in front of us again. Isn't your ego more important than ours!" exclaim Vero.
"Vero!" mama Jill again. "Qian can't divorce you until your puerperium is over" Mama Jill said casually. He was trying to make this tense atmosphere not get worse.
"That's it. If Qian wanted to, 1000 women out there were waiting for him. He is handsome, young, comes from a well-to-do and educated family. Then you? At this age do you think finding a job is still easy? Do you think being a single parent is good? Can your son grow up well without his father and mother?" it was Mama Jill who made Vero think again. "Here you go, don't follow angry feelings. Let's just say yesterday was us again shit. Do not exaggerate anymore," said Mama Jill continues to clean up like not disturbed by the tension of husband and wife. He continued to be relaxed and calm.
While Vero stared at Qian sharply restraining his sense of regret. And Qian nodded in understanding without much words, she tried to ignore Vero's attitude. He tried to cover it up. Because the other day she was also reminded Mama Jill, it is likely that Vero's mood will change after giving birth, especially if she gave birth in a state of trauma because Qian was the wrong act to choose a clinic for her.
As an expression of her guilt, Qian tried to be patient with all of Vero's current mannerisms on her.
When Qian was about to help him. Mama Jill rejected him and asked Qian to stay there no need to drive him.
After feeding the baby, Vero put the red baby in the baby box that is in the room.
But, Vero seemed to have trouble getting off his bed. Qian who saw that immediately moved quickly to help Vero carry the baby and put the baby slowly into his cot box.
They are still without a sound. Although Vero continued to resist, Qian did not care. He continues to help Vero.
"His ASI's out?" ask Qian. Vero stared at Qian sharply until he finally answered her.
"It has. This morning," answered Vero briefly.
"Tomorrow we can go home. I want to check the administration first. Let's see how much we pay. Fear of our money is not enough," said Qian Lirih. A moment Vero choked. He just realized that. He glanced at Qian.
Perhaps the current Qian was much more depressed with their current state. She had to think about the cost of her delivery. And have to commute from work to the hospital every day. Especially now that he was busy preparing his design company.
Feeling Vero staring at him long enough, Qian began to feel strange.
"What's wrong?" tanya Qian looked at Vero who was staring at her earlier.
"Oh, no papa," said Vero who had just realized from his daydream.
"I'm out for a second. I have something to take care of." Qian came out leaving Vero alone with their sleeping baby.
As Qian walked out of the pavilion area. Qian passed by Alzam. Their steps stopped. They looked at each other waiting for the one who was about to start the conversation.
"Household is not the same as the house-house game when you were a child with Una. Let her go so she can find someone better and ready to go to the household. Or turn into an adult man who knows how to be wise" said Alzam sharply.
"What kind of man? Likeyou?" tanya Qian sneered. "Heh... At least I'd rather make up my mind than you're a coward" Qian replied again leaving Alzam still unmoved. He stared at the swift steps Qian left him.
For some reason tonight Qian felt like he was always in a confrontation. With his mother, his wife and now his sister.
"What's wrong with all of them tonight!" murmured Qian alone and continued walking quickly.
When Qian arrived just as they were about to go home.
"Wait a minute!" prevent Qian before they were about to leave. They immediately turned to Qian.
"I want to ask you to please see the cost of treatment on behalf of Veronica Felicia. I beg you," pinta Qian expectantly. Seeing who asked, they would not dare to refuse.
They went back into his room and opened the computer to check the data Qian requested.
"38,800,000 rupiahs. This is because Vero's mother used the most expensive nursery here, sir," they explained. Qian speechlessly swallowed his saliva bitterly. Where would he get so much money in one day.
After finishing, Qian returned to Vero's nursery. He walked and looked full of weight. Before returning to Vero's nursery, Qian was sitting limp in a long chair not far from there. His gaze was blank and for a moment he began to feel a tightness. He leaned back and clutched his tired face.
From a distance Alzam looked at his sister with meaningful eyes. Qian was like a frustrated person with a heavy burden of mind.
