Christopher and Alta's bodies instantly weakened. Feet seemed unable to support weight when seeing who was hugging Aerin. Both of them fell silent as if the soul in their bodies came out and left the body they now live in.
The body feels cold and the face pale. The two fixedly looked at Ratih and Aerin who were still faithful to embrace each other. Tears that were held back instantly shed. But no one realized because the others were moved by the meeting between mother and child.
"Train," murmured Christopher clenched his hand to strengthen the heart and soul that was stirring in there.
30 Years apart from the woman he loved so much. Their separation was not due to the wishes of the two of them. But it was fate that did not allow them to be together. Still ringing in Christopher's head how his wife was kicked out in the rain carrying a 3-month-old baby in her cradle.
Christopher searches for the whereabouts of Ratih and Aerin but unfortunately the power and money he has does not make him meet the two women he so longs for his figure. Destiny seemed to be impartial to them together, even though he tried to resist.
Likewise with Alta who was unable to stem the tears. That stern and cold and cruel face disappeared instantly upon seeing the two women he had so longed for. The woman he had been looking for and was always present in every single one of his dreams, was now right in front of him.
Alta grew up without the affection of her mother. Even though Ema is willing to give her love that she might not get. But there were still different feelings that he was hard to explain.
"Mommy," he said.
If only he hadn't tried to support his body. Maybe Alta had fallen on the floor crying loudly or ran towards Ratih and Aerin and hugged the two great women while crying violently. He loved his mother very much. The woman was always able to ease her cab when her favorite toy was lost and always patiently taught her when a math replay. It's been a long, long time.30 years without seeing each other, it's not a short time. The long and very long time has accumulated a lot of longing that develops in the chest.
"Train."
The hug of Ratih and Aerin suddenly released when he heard the voice of the call.
Again, Ratih was pecking at his place when he saw two men standing not far from them. Even if Aerin didn't catch his mother's body it's possible that Ratih had fallen on the floor.
"Mommy," call Alta.
Ratih looked back at Alta. His heart is beating so fast. My tongue feels too dry to talk. The two men who kept ringing in his head were now in front of him.
"Sister Chris," muttered Ratih.
"Ratih," call Christopher.
Wanting to feel he ran to hug Ratih while saying miss. Very homesick. He wanted to hug the body of the woman he loved and he had been searching for decades. But why did his legs step heavily to walk up to the woman after seeing Robson behind Ratih.
Christopher never knew, if Robson was the husband of his ex-wife not the ex-wife. Still legitimate wives, they're not divorced. They are still legally and religiously legitimate married couples. They are separated not because of divorce but because they are caused by selfish people, by people who do not appreciate how important togetherness is.
"Mommy." Alta walked closer towards Ratih and Aerin. Christopher is still in his place.
"Tool," muttered Ratih looking at his eldest son.
Tears of Rati again shed. Whether destiny has tested her, she is reunited with those in the past whom she once loved but after she finds the true love that had it intact.
"Mommy, it's me" Alta's fretting.
Ratih stretched out his hand reaching for the face of Alta who was taller than him. The little boy he used to teach math lessons. The little boy who used to be so happy welcomed the birth of his sister whom he named Baby A.
"Yes Mommy. It's me your son. I'm your son Mommy. I'm Alta" explained Alta with tears in her eyes.
Ratih immediately hugged his son with a great cry. Real great. How not to shed tears? When he was evicted from the house his son called his name while crying hysterically but his small body was put in a pair by the bodyguards of the in-laws.
While the others remained silent. All mouths were silent to speak including Alan and the twins who were still in shock. Agam, Joa, and Joel were not able to say anything.
Robson was silent as well. His heart was panicked and worried especially when he saw the eyes of Christopher who was so eager on his wife. What if the man took the wife from her and Ratih chose to return with Christopher instead of her. He could not imagine that he would experience a great heartbreak a second time.
Agam glanced at the silent father with a sad and fragile face. He knows how his father feels. No one wants to lose someone they love with all their heart. However, Agam again believes that the mother he loves will not be able to turn away just because of the arrival of his old love.
"Mommy."
Alta's crying broke. How much he loved his mother. How much he wanted to meet his mother. How he endured all the longing that was growing in his chest and wished he always had a chance to meet his mother.
"Alta."
Ratih hugged his son tightly while rubbing the boy's back. It was like dreaming of being reunited with her son.
"Mommy." Alta let go of her mother's embrace.
"You're a big boy, Son? You're so handsome!" puji Ratih chuckled but the tears that were dripping signified that there was a wound embedded in his heart when he saw his son.
"Yes, Mom. I've grown up and I'm handsome" Alta said.
Aerin smiled at her mother and sister. The woman wiped her tears violently. There are so many emotions that he feels today. This unexpected meeting managed to make Aerin feel one more happiness.
Alta glanced at her sister, "Baby A," she called.
"Sister."
The three of them hugged each other. The long time had made each of them hold a tight chest because of the longing that was growing inside.
"Mommy, happy to see you," said Ratih, alternating with Alta and Aerin's forehead.
A mother's happiness is when she can be with her children. Especially at the age of transition that is no longer young.
"Mommy, don't go again" pinta Alta.
"Mommy won't go. Mommy will be with you forever" replied Ratih hugging her two children.
Seriate....
