Man has lost his way, and that is why we are here now.
Bringing an enlightenment.
The great door of the church opened, revealing Aestus who walked in quickly into the altar of the church approaching a nun who was sitting on a throne made of human flesh. The walls of the church were entirely made by attaching the living men, and they all cried out in pain for all eternity. Their cries of misery are like beautiful gospel songs reserved for the almighty. The nun sat with her feet under a small shallow pool, and each time, the hands of the living man from the throne will wash his feet as a plea to be delivered from this eternal torment. After being close to the nun, Aestus lowered his head to pay his respects, then began to speak to her.
“Advent, your beloved little boy is acting up again. I told you he still can't choose the new light.”
A hand coming from the right arm of his throne then tightly grasped the right hand of the Adventist pleading to be released from the endless misery he suffered, and the Adventist immediately answered his wish. Only with pure power did the Advent remove the hand from his original body stored in the inner part of the throne, instantly filling the altar room with a deafening cry of pain. Aestus immediately understood the act of Advent. That, was a warning to him.
“Do not try brashly, Aestus. Or you'll feel the same way.”
“I'm sorry, holy mother.”
The walls and floors wept loudly, feeling empathy for the brash hand. Advent stared intently at Aestus, before finally standing up from his throne and stretching out his hands, blessing Aestus' soul who had strayed into human futility.
“Come home, and return to be a heavenly light to souls lost in the futility of this temporary human world. Return, be a light to the almighty red star, and give psalms of enlightenment to those who have fallen into eternal sin.”
“I received your blessing, holy mother.”

Main page, red star church.
Aestus was silent in the middle of the vast dome with its hollow roof, shining himself with the light of the sun from above. As if blessed by divine light, Aestus looked up at heaven as if he were giving thanks to the almighty. The west door of the main courtyard opened, and there, a man in a black robe decorated with gold accessories and wearing a skull mask walked up to him.
His red radiant sword dragged over the main courtyard ceramic floor, leaving cracks along the way. Aestus turned his head towards the man, still in a state of calm despite actually feeling a little disturbed thanks to the sound produced by the man's sword.
“Do you not know, Nihilism, that destroying the main courtyard floor is tantamount to desecrating the sanctity of the entire church ?”
“Say, Aestus. What are you saying to the point of making the holy mother go berserk ?”
“It was a stupid question, you know. Is it possible that you made him angry ? Because he was still blessing me before I left.” replied Aestus while grinning a little to Nihilism.
Nihilism instantly turned off his red radiant sword, then snorted loudly because it had been cornered by Aestus with just one reply. The atmosphere became silent for a moment, before Nihilism finally spoke back.
“(Sigh) Forget it. You're the one who was told to lead the attack on these perverted creatures in space, right ? Why are you still here, huh ?”
“Not your business. Anyway, I also need at least one friend, stupid.”
“Rarely do I hear you humble yourself like that. Need my help ?”
“Giant like yourself is still not enough. At least, there should still be one more.”
“Well, just say that you are rejecting the divine call, not !?”
Aestus drew his sword from the scabbard, smoothing the blood-red katana towards Nihilism.
“Don't be brash first, big boy. Just because you're one level higher than me, doesn't mean I can't chop up your mortal flesh, stupid.”
Suddenly, Flambeau was already on the second floor of the main courtyard. With his speech that was so beautiful and melodious as the song of a sparrow, he managed to make the two people down there surprised and immediately turned to him at that moment.
“Amigo, what are you guys doing down there ? Attention, our new light will soon be born, you know..”.
Hearing that, Aestus immediately lowered his sword, as did Nihilism who became calm instantly. The birth of the new light from Flambeau was like a revelation sent down from heaven, calming every hostile person and reconciling all heated and burning hearts. Without a word, Aestus and Nihilism entered the southern main courtyard, followed by Flambeau opening the southern door on the second floor.
They are ready to welcome the new light.
...****************...
The girl knew nothing before. What happened to him ? Where is he at the moment ? And who took him ? All he knew after opening his eyes was that he was being drowned in a red pond that was slowly destroying his body, consuming it alive. The pain no longer stimulated the sensors in his body. He can feel it, but not at the same time. The girl tried to get herself out of the pool, but she was just interested more deeply like being trapped in suction mud. Until in the end, all that can be seen from the whole is just his head, which is not expression at all.
“Don't try to run from thanks to the red star, my sister.” said a little girl who seemed to be her age.
“You can call me Vastaya, my sister.” the little girl told him.
“Please...... Vastaya.”
Vastaya shook her head, refusing to help the little girl who was drowning inside the red pond. The girl's eyes could suddenly see a bright white colored light emerging from the top of the roof. Could it be that it was the divine light that brought revelation to him ? Or perhaps, is the light from the gate of death ?
“Cannot. That red pool is a blessing and a proof of His omnipotence. I can't take out someone who is in the blessing of the red star.” said Vastaya.
“What's this....... Thanks ?”
“Don't ask something obvious. This, is the blessing of the red star. A revelation. A light that will lead a lost soul.”
And so, how did the little girl start asking who the red star was. Why should he feel this kind of torment only for the red star ? No one knows the answer, nor will they answer it. Vastaya left herself alone in the red pond that was slowly devouring her body, in a dark room with no light at all.
The second day, or whether this day had passed before. The little girl began to see something disgusting with her own two eyes. As his body slowly disintegrated, strange creatures began to emerge from within the red pond. He did not know at all why, but he always thought the same thing, that the flesh that builds the bodies of these creatures is his own flesh.
“Am I going to disappear after this ?” said the girl with a soft word.
There is no power at all. He had no ability to free himself from the pool. He could do nothing but accept his destiny to be enlightened by the divine light that would soon plunge his eyes from the sins he had committed. Has he ever committed a sin ? Of course not. She was just a cheerful and innocent little girl, knowing nothing but to live with her parents.
“Kapan....... It's gonna....... Ends ?”
Next day. The red pool began to recede, leaving his body that had only left small, porous bones. Even so, his head was still intact, becoming the only flesh left of his long-lost body. The girl simply sprawled on the floor, staring up at the dark ceiling of the room she was currently living in.
“Manana, nina.” said a man who had just stepped into the room along with several others.
The little girl did not look at him one bit. His joints were already porous, or perhaps even, had disappeared completely. The man, along with the others, then observed the girl whose face was no longer able to express itself. They all looked at him with deep sadness. Not because of sympathy or empathy, but because the girl was rejected outright by the red star, the divine light.
“Puella, why do I only see bones here ?”
“Do I have to kill him then ?”
“Aun no, before answered this escaso.”
“Cih, lelama.”
The man, Flambeau, then turned to look at the poor little girl. His mouth slowly opened and closed back, trying to say what he felt at this moment in silence.
“Kill...... Kill me....”.
“Well, that's how you heard, puella.”
Vastaya then walked up to the girl while taking out a sword-bladed wing on her left back. The single wing then glowed bright red, preparing to launch a coup de grace attack on the poor little girl.
“I'm sorry, sister.”
Kill...... Killed me......
Blood splashed everywhere. The girl's head had a large hole in her forehead, and Vastaya's wings were thrust into the innermost part of the girl's brain. However, an unexpected thing happened. Like the word of an almighty, which can never be guessed. Like a revelation, it comes down to enlightening someone who has never guessed who his identity is.
“K-why ?”
“Flambeau, I've done all my best. Okay ?”
Everything in the room became dumbfounded instantly.
“Should, it was a killing attack, not ?” asked Aestus in disbelief.
“Ara ara, what are we looking at here actually ? What's even more interesting...... About what Advent will do after knowing this, huh ??” muttered Flambeau while smiling obliquely and rubbing his chin with two fingers.
Meanwhile, Nihilism, the great prophet among them, spread out his hands and looked up. He was bathed in the impulse of faith, enlightened and sanctified by the wonder and impossibility of the divine light.
“Look, a revelation...... Has come to enlighten our way of thinking.”
