Stargate: Universe's

Stargate: Universe's
Mankind's Desire

Life is in vain, I said, it is a total futility.

What is the use of man to live, to tire under the sun, if at the end of his life the face of the earth does not change because of all his efforts ?

What is the point of being born every day, only to be replaced with a new one in just a few years ?

Truly, I have never seen anything new to be found on this earth.

All that is new, is just a replica of a fragment of the past.

I don't find what's different under this sun, always.

I never found that the water flowing in the river changed direction from its downstream and then rushed to the other sea, or went inland to get fresh air.

I never found that the wind blowing did not rotate back from North to South, nor from west to east.

Nothing has ever changed under this sun, in the earth.

One's wisdom never exceeds anything, it never helps him to fly freely up into the sky or even beyond it.

What comes will soon disappear and die to dust. That's next.

I have seen many stray sheep trying to free themselves to be in the middle of the evergreen and lush pastures, where the grass is tall and green.

I have seen that the sheep are getting fatter and better in stature.

They were free in the green pastures, and they rejoiced every day.

The shepherd also let them, as if not wanting to hold and bear their fate on his back again.

I have seen that the shepherd let his sheep die to be eaten by wolves and wild dogs.

Truly, all that man does is futility, which in the end will only lead them back to eternal death.

Man knows it, and I know it the same.

But my wishes and theirs are the same. Like a big mouth gaping, hoping to be able to scoop up all that is in the earth without end, and also without end.

Truly, I live in vain under this sun.

Man, in the end, will never be content to fulfill his desires and desires like a stray dog locked in a prison, looking at the empty plate outside his prison.

Their tongues dangled out, and every day only saliva came out of their mouths.

Expecting something great, even though it will never be on this earth.

Expecting something, which is futile.

“(Sigh) Somehow only this part can I remember. It seemed, what the wise man Pendragon said was indeed true, huh ?”

The long-bearded old man sat on the floor, and he slowly placed his black-inked brush on the right side of the paper. On his left, there was a view of Long Zhen city that had been destroyed by the 'invader'. Puffs of fire and smoke soared up into the sky, making it dark up there. The cries of the citizens of Long Zhen who were trying to escape the threat of death sounded very loud, even when the old man's castle was located quite far from the settlement of its citizens. Despite all that, the man still sat quietly, and politely, as if he was waiting for an honored arrival guest.

Only a short time after sighing, the long-awaited guest actually came, complete with a loud kick that shattered the sliding door far in front of him. Some of the soldiers in armor he did not know were his guests, and now they were all pointing their rifles at the old man, except for one in the middle, who seems to be the leader of them all.

“I heard that your name is Emperor Gu, isn't it, old man !? Tell me, do you want to stay alive as a slave, or die into a display of history !!?” said the soldier in the middle.

The old man, Emperor Gu, was still speechless. He sighed, then stood up while closing his eyes.

“What do you want, a human from another world ? Bringing destruction to this whole world, plundering all the possessions we have in this world ? I need to tell you, O people of another world, all that you do in this world will only end in vain when the time has been decided. This world is not what you think it is, full of dark forces and a mysterious side untouched for years, even by the wisest of kings. You, will never be able to set your feet on all the thrones possessed by this world, humans from another world.”

“Cih, enough for his talk, old man. I take that as the answer to 'death as a display of history'. Everyone, raise your rifles to this old man now !! We'll shoot him in my third count.”

The entire army answered him 'yes' in unison, and their rifles were aimed at Emperor Gu. Gu was still calm motionless, as if he was already very prepared to face the coldness of death. His eyes were getting tightly shut, and a single drop of sweat did not wash over his facial skin.

Gu Shao, my beloved daughter. I'm handing everything over to you. Believe that you are a great woman, and you are unmatched by these invaders. What they do is in vain. The world is not in their hands, but us.

Fight, my dear daughter. One day, the world will recover as it was before.

...****************...

“What is this book ? Heresy teachings??”

The man closed the book he had just rediscovered. He stood in the midst of the ruins of a holy church, full of blood and human corpses scattered everywhere. The man looked around him, as if confused and not knowing what to do at the moment. In the end, his eyes only returned to the book again, as if the book had its own charm.

“Abitrox Book, huh ? Can I loot it ?”

“Of course, young man.”

“Aarrrgh, who's there !!?”

The man was startled instantly, and he immediately turned back because of that gentle yet also somewhat rude voice. At the ends, the man could only silently grimace while enduring his embarrassment as what had just shocked him turned out to be an old commander with a short white beard filling the bottom of his chin. The commander chuckled, and it seemed like he would never stop to chuckle in front of the man.

“(Sigh) Of course. Shocked is a normal reaction for everyone, isn't it?”

“Uhhhh...... Well, it seems like it is.”

The atmosphere suddenly became very awkward between them, and was also very quiet. The man finally could do nothing but turn his face away from Sean the commander, before he finally got a deheman from him. Very hard, but not rough.

“Simon, how do you feel, having committed the greatest sin of man together with others at this time, with me ?”

“Huh ? Shouldn't we be proud....... As it fights for the survival of mankind, perhaps ?”

Sean sighed, and then turned back, turning his back to Simon with just his back. All Simon saw was Sean's upright back and never tired even in his old age, always standing firmly leading his army wisely and valiantly. But what Simon saw was different from what Sean felt, who was currently shedding tears because of all the sins he had committed to the citizens of Pendragon at this time.

“Fight for the sake of mankind, that's what they've always said. No matter when they lose, or when someone inculcates a new history on the sheet of human life, that is what always comes out of their mouth. Though in reality, this mission is tantamount to killing another innocent human, isn't it, Simon ?”

In his last sentence, Sean turned to Simon, without hesitation showing his face that looked very guilty and filled with regret for his enormous sin. Just by looking at Sean's face alone, Simon was finally able to realize something he had been doing together with Bulwark's army. That, is committing a great sin. Man strives to do everything, to be the supreme ruler of this world. They were even willing to kill their own fellow, just to satisfy something that lasted only temporarily.

“Commander Sean, where did you realize about this ?”

“(Sigh deeply) Of course, from the cold mechanoid that troublemaker was.”

“Ah, Silvia...... He's not as bad as we thought, is he, commander Sean ?”

“Well, it seems like it is, young boy.”

Meanwhile in Bulwark. Silvia is in disguise at the moment, only to drink her favorite coffee in the Bulwark cafeteria while remembering a routine she had always done in the past. It was spending time with Tamashi, his private tutor. The cafeteria was still bustling and full of human frenzy just like it used to be, still not changing at all. He sighed in boredom, then turned on his tablet just to see the other Bulwark's bad news. Seen on the screen of the tablet is bright blue, that the clock still shows the number 07.30 in the morning. That is the reason, why the cafeteria still feels lonely even though there are actually many people there.

Silvia shifted her tablet screen while snorting loudly in annoyance. Suddenly, his eyes saw a red dot on his email app logo. He knows what the red dot is. A new message from Stargazer's academy to him, of course. Silvia was very lazy to press the icon, but she was also very curious about what it contained. After struggling with her mind full of chaos, Silvia finally decided to see what the content of the email was. Just a very short message, but it can make him curse everything he has ever done in a lifetime.

6 More days before the academy will begin fully, prepare new lights for the future !!

“Fucking academy....” Silvia murmur.

Just one second after reading the short email, Silvia immediately let the tablet fall on the glass table to make a very loud noise, it was as if the table was about to break apart just because of the weight of the tablet alone. Silvia leaned lethargic on the back of her cafeteria chair while sighing deeply in annoyance. During this one month, all he did was wake up, sleep, eat and drink, play children's games, then rest and finally go back to sleep. Just that, as if he was trapped in a time loop that locked him away for good.

“Fuck, I want to do that damn Stargate mission again, stupid.....” Silvia murmured to herself.

“Oh, so you want to do that creepy mission again, huh, undercover agent ??”

His head that was originally staring at the ceiling of the Bulwark cafeteria was instantly straight forward again. A man or woman, not clearly gender, had just taken a seat in front of him. Now his eyes are staring at each other and locked into the eyes of the mysterious person. Just wondering in her heart, Silvia decided to ask the mysterious freak directly, who looked like a filthy femboy in her eyes.

“What do you mean by that last word ? By the way, I've never seen any femboy in this place, haven't I?”

“You call me a 'femboy' ? It really hurt my heart, you know.”

“Indeed the reality looks like that.”

The man in the purple fedora hat and the red feather on the right front of his hat then sighed while putting his right hand on his chest, introducing himself with high manners.

“My name is Maria, purely a woman like you, the undercover agent.”

“Oh...... I see, yes ?”

The atmosphere became silent for a moment between the two, feeling very awkward for Silvia. It only took one hard deheman from Maria to put an end to the strange situation.

“Ehem, humans always have a desire, huh ? All right, get to the point, mechanic Silvia. You know about the church of the red star, don't you?”

Maria's calm appearance instantly turned into a jerk for a moment as Silvia brought her face closer just like that while nodding in agreement. Not the answer he really wanted, but whatever, he thought to himself.

“Of course, stupid, I know very clearly about that perverted flow !! What do you want me to do to them !? Ending his entire cult !!?”

“Wah, really determined once you. Relax first, we still haven't got there, okay ?”

Hearing Maria's reply, Silvia felt a little disappointed and sighed immediately, making all the excitement stop instantly. Silvia sat on her chair back, and it was seen that it seemed, her desire to listen to Maria further had diminished. It really sucks, for Maria.

“You know the large organization that has been starting to develop in the Bulwark environment ? A WGARR ? Believe it or not, I was his secretary there, and my real main job was arguably some kind of spy, including watching over that goddamn heretical church.

“World Government of Art and Religion Residence, right ? What does this have to do with the perverted church?”

Mary began to become more serious than usual, and she then stared intently at Silvia. Knowing that, Silvia immediately put her ears sharp, not wanting a single word thrown by Mary's mouth tucked from her sense of hearing.

“You don't have to care what our business with that fucking heretic church is, Silvia. The most important thing here is the secret fact that the church is in preparation for an attack on this place, no matter when it will happen. Mechanoid Silvia, are you willing to cooperate with us for a while until the attack carried out by them is successfully stopped ??”

Silvia did not reply, and instead lowered her head while massaging her forehead for a while. He looked like he was thinking quite seriously, before finally, he had decided on the answer. Silvia then looked back at Maria, filled with a burning determination.

“Actually I want to let this human-infested outer space colony be destroyed, but since I am so very very bored....... (Sigh) All right, I accept your cooperation offer.”

“Finally after so long, I acted back too....”.
