“So, how is the situation out there ?”

The situation in the conservation room was very tense. The air feels very heavy, it is also tight to be inhaled by the human nose. Maybe it all happened because of the many people who gathered in that one small room. Not only the citizens and students of the academy, but also the higher-ups of Militus like the commander and others, even the leader of the Bulwark itself. Moreover, most of them were lying weakly on the hard Bulwark floor, making the small room feel even narrower than it seemed. All of them, were wounded by the attack from Limbo M.I.N.D.

At the end of the room, Victor and the other higher-ups gathered in small groups to discuss something. Not like their meetings in general, but whatever they will do, no matter how wild and chaotic the situation. As soon as Victor asked the question, they all immediately lowered their heads down. The hands of those higher-ups rubbed their chins, and the longer time passed, the deeper they fell into their own minds. The situation became silent for a while, before a deheman finally sounded from the west between them, breaking the silence instantly.

“Can we skip this 'deep thinking' moment ? There's still a lot I have to do right now.”

“And as you said yourself, why are you here-!!?”

Unable to finish his sentence, the white-haired general was instantly made silent when Incurso's index finger suddenly was near his mouth. Incurso brought his face closer to the general's face, then uttered 'ssstt' to silence him.

“You disturb those who rest in peace, old man.” whispered Incurso to him.

All the eyes of the Bulwark officials, including Victor, stared at Incurso at that very moment. Incurso then confirmed the pose of his body and shifted his gaze away from the old general, returning to his serious face which looked like a lack of expression.

“We shorten this only. Out there, not only the Limbo people are rampaging, but also a mysterious infection that knows what it really is. Still unknown until now.”

“A virus !? Why do we know about this now ??” ask a female commander in her 40s.

“Because we didn't know before. That's all.”

In that instant, all the people in the room rose from their lying position. Their whispering voices were heard, and most of them sounded like panicked voices. With just that one word alone, Incurso had managed to awaken an invisible monster amongst all of them. A Bulwark security chief then slightly walked forward towards Incurso, and his eyes floated watching the chaotic situation.

“You made them panic, Incurso. It could be that they will be like zombies running around everywhere after this.” said the person.

“Indeed that's how it is. We are just running away from the fact that the invisible monster is actually among us.”

Knowing that they were starting to deviate from the main discussion at the moment, Victor sighed, placed his hand on the shoulder of the head of security and pushed it back from before him. This time, the leader himself took over the conversation.

“Enough with it all, Incurso. How dangerous is the unknown virus?”

Incurso was seen smiling a little, before finally he sent a woman who had been behind him since participating in the small meeting.

“Helena, show the recording.”

Without answering anything, the black-clad woman then displayed a holographic screen from her wrist. After a while of making shrill noises and being in a blurry state, the hologram screen finally displayed the footage stored with it. On the screen, a Militus suddenly rises from what appears to be death, turns to the camera and shouts a loud roar at the people recording him.

Damn, what the fuck is that !!? Shoot him now !!

A gunshot is heard clearly from the recording, and it is not long before it is seen, that Militus who rose from the dead finally returned to his death after a bullet finally lodged in his head. The recording was finished, and Helena took a few steps back to Incurso once again, disappearing behind Incurso's body which was like a wall of protection for her. Everyone and the higher-ups looked terrified after seeing the footage, but not Victor. He only sighed while scratching his back head with his left hand for a moment, after which he stared at Incurso again.

“So, it's some kind of zombie virus........ Which makes a person live for the second time ??”

“That's how. based on calculations that he had done before, this virus has spread almost in 90% Bulwark, Bulwark, and don't forget that they also start to destroy our systems slowly from the inside at the same time.”

“That's fast !!?” ask another old general.

“The center of attack is from our Limbo. Whether by stopping all of its work or destroying it, both have relatively effective infection reduction rates, and are also terrible for ourselves.”

“Destroying Limbo you said !!?”

Everyone involved in the meeting did not refuse to look sharply at Incurso, not even Victor. What Incurso had just said sounded like an unbelievable folly to them. As if not knowing that he was in the limelight at the moment, Incurso instead took a seat on a table that had been nearby all along, and still with his face unexpressed, he looked back at everyone in front of him at this moment.

“I did not tell you to take a hammer and then beat up a machine as big as the tower of Babel. I'm just saying that we just need to concentrate our efforts on that machine tower if we want to get rid of this infection from Bulwark. Someone, or whoever it is, should have someone go to Limbo and do something with it.”

“Someone said 'must go to Limbo' ? I heard that clearly because.”

Their attention all instantly turned towards a woman in her striking purple clothes near the crowd of citizens lying on the floor, just standing up and about to approach them. The woman then took off her fedora hat, and the face with her small smile was finally clearly visible to all of them. The woman, like a light among the darkness. A smile among the distresses, it did not look like anything bad indeed, but it was an oddity for Incurso.

“I'm Maria, from WGARR. You guys should know about this organization, right?”

“Seaneh is like your outfit, so is your presence here. Want a presentation about your new art ??” asked Incurso in a cynical tone.

Incurso instantly turned his face away from Maria lazily. Just by hearing the name 'troublemaker' from his mouth alone, he already knows who the person who infiltrated into the Limbo. He stared at Victor and the others, handing over all the rest to them.

“Someone does sometimes have to get out of his stigma. Tell me, what should we do to help her now ??” victor asked with a face that looked loosened, as if he had finally found a way out of the current state of chaos.

He immediately got a look of disbelief from Incurso and the others, but he paid them no heed. Whichever way out it is, it will use it, even when the way out is based on someone being called a 'troublemaker' among people. After all, what he was defending right now was the survival of the human race.

Maria looks very happy with Victor's decision. He gave a brief salute to her by bowing his body, then began to speak.

“Actually, all he did there was just to save one of his friends you forgot in Limbo a long time ago. But, as long as he's still wrestling in there, we can get him to do whatever you want. You guys, just need to set up the amplifier frame you just released lately, that's all he wants.”

Damn it, I am really wise !!

Finished with her words, Mary began to observe the movements of everyone before her at this moment. They all looked like they had fallen into their own minds, just like the previous ones. Whatever it was, what he had just told seemed to have succeeded in making them think deeply about it. The whole conservation room finally became quiet again, and it began to feel like it would last forever for Maria. He began to be unable to resist his desire to look around, making his gaze end up finding a red-haired person from among the scientists who was looking at him sharply. He knows who he is, and he knows what he has to do. Maria covered her mouth with her right palm, trying to hold back her laughter that was about to explode soon. From a distance, the red-haired scientist screeched in annoyance, then turned his gaze toward the other. It seemed, he had to do the same to them the next time after all this was done.

“What does she want with that new frame, Maria from WGARR ?”

The question from Victor made him look back at him. He was still not finished with 'holding his laughter'.

“Uh, yes........ Uhmmmm, briefly........ (Sigh) Well, actually it's just for his friend. But anyway, that frame can also absorb these viruses when done with Limbo alone still not solve this big fucking problem, right ? Based on the words of the big-brained redhead.” said Maria while pointing to the red-haired scientist in the right corner of the room there.

“You guys have spies all this time ??” ask Incurso for a moment.

“Uh, actually, everyone who is on WGARR is a spy. And most of us, forget to say 'excuse' before doing it.”

Some of the people behind him started to laugh. They were arguably quite amused by Mary's current whereabouts, while the higher-ups began to ask each other if Mary could really be trusted.

“Sir Victor, can we finish this even faster ? While we are still talking here, some of your loved ones are busy with these problems, including the one called Exceels.”

“You also know about Exceels, WGARR boy !!?” ask Incurso again, this time in a louder voice.

Helena quickly calmed down Incurso, who seemed to have run out of faith in Maria. The female commander between them then told the two to step back for a moment from the meeting. After all, a person who cannot trust others is not necessary in a meeting for the survival of mankind.

“And also an extra. Your attempt to kill all of the Limbo M.I.N.D that is all over Bulwark right now is the same as cutting through the air, in short. The virus will only make other new zombies, because they have all been spread almost throughout this spaceship, right ?”

The words from Maria seemed to be enough to make Victor round his decision in the midst of this wild situation. He sighed, hoping that what Mary said was the right way out. All the people in Bulwark, right now, are putting their hopes on the one person they call a troublemaker. But still, all he would do, if it was for the survival of the human race.

“So, what are your plans now, Maria from WGARR ??”

“We'll leave everything to that failed mechanoid ? Who attacked General Nero and also passed all the exams of Stargazer??”

“Victor, the mechanoid........ We can't trust him !!”

All the officers and the Militus also said the same thing. Again, the room became noisy again as before. But all the commotion seemed unable to disturb Victor in the slightest. In the commotion, he was silent. In the chaos, he calmed down. In desperation, he attacked back.

“Everyone has a second chance, everyone deserves to be born again. So does the person you refer to as the 'troublemaker'.”

All the higher-ups in the room were silent for a moment. After all, there was nothing they could do anymore, other than to hang their only hope on the 'troublemaker. They gave up, but did not give up completely. What Victor says is true, it seems, that everyone deserves a second chance.

“It was a good decision, Mr. Bulwark. So, we can start the plan now.”

Mary advanced to where they stood, of course with a small smile on her face. It was a plus point for him, that he managed to get the Bulwark higher-ups to finally agree with his plan. Maria stared at Victor and the other higher-ups casually, as if there were no class differences between them. Meanwhile in the back, Incurso turned on his comms, telling all the Militus and the mechanoid in the room to listen to Maria's plan. At once, Vierra, Bastion, Amelia, Echo, Mox Luna, Gamma, and the other mechanoids immediately poked their ears sharply to listen to the voice of Mary. There was no need to think about who they would help in this mission, the important thing was that the result would be to maintain the survival of mankind. The name of the 'troublemaker' is no longer in their memory catalog. They have forgotten it, and they are reborn into newness, united to save the last remaining hope of mankind.

“First, we will clear the road to Limbo, all while preparing a new amplifier frame for Vita as well. Second, send some of your best men to drive those damn Prophets out, we'll catch and beat them all out because of this severe attack. Third, we have Silvia and Vita, if the mechanoid is successful, get out of Limbo while it starts shutting down all its systems. Once they get out, we'll force the two Prophets to clear everything, and if it's too late, Vita is our only hope. As simple as that is, but do not forget that we have to keep the people in this room as well.”

Mary then saluted Victor, after which went away from among the higher-ups. Incurso waited for a while, and after he finally got a nod from Victor, he changed his comms channel to global, connecting instantly to all mechanoids that were in an online state.

“Mechanoid, ALL OUT !!”

They were finally deployed to Limbo, to rescue someone who had infiltrated into it which they described as a 'troublemaker'.

To the human race !!
