The Church of the Red Star

See how humanity has deviated from what it should be.

See how they fell to the deepest depths of the abyss of Hell.

Lost, they need help.

An enlightenment.

A spiritual flush.

It needs someone who preaches holy words, who regrows their faith.

Truly, the wisdom of Solomon had disappeared from the depths of their hearts.

...****************...

A man was walking in the midst of a burning earth. Fire and smoke billowed up into the high sky, changing its color to dark red. Cries and cries for help can be heard everywhere. The ruins of the buildings fell upon the ground that had originally sustained them, and the people, like diamonds hidden deep underground, and their last relics.

“Poor man. Is this the punishment of the red star for those who have strayed from his words ?”

The man then turned to his right, and behold, an ancient book was lying on the ground with shattered logs lying everywhere, like it was his bed. As if the book had its own gravity, the man then walked towards the ancient book, then bowed and picked it up.

“Muy bien damas y caballeros, listen to my voice that will read this ragged ancient book.”

The man then sat down leisurely on a nearly collapsed piece of wood, not caring for the surrounding scenery. After a long sigh while briefly reading the cover title of the book, the man began his exploration among the pages of the book that had been mostly burned by the burning fire.

“Voila ! Look at this hermoso-styled poem !!”

The man's eyes widened, as if he had just discovered a treasure in the middle of an uninhabited island. With great enthusiasm, very high, the man began to read each line of the poem's words and tried to process its profound meaning in just a few seconds each time he moved to another line of poetry.

The snow rains like a waterfall

The fire burns high from the chimneys, and the smoke steaming high as a dragon soaring high to the unknown

The freeze, and the cold

Were like the hidden old demons untold

Hid behind the shadow, and creep from underneath of the shallow

Enveloped by the darkness, and devour the all radiances

Even for the fiercest flame, were only put to a shame

Here comes the tattletale, whispering the lost children a little fairy tale

Giving her a little hope, so her will to survive not come to avail

Hear the song of the hopeless one, a cry of the gospel

Soon the snow will be sway, and thou can be lay in the warmest day

Just pray and stay

For the one with stillest Faith, wouldn't be slain

Fret not for the fear of the unknown

For thine longing of freedom soon be reborn

The joyous and mellifluous song will be heard forever along

See from the Manchigan horizon, a new dawn comes to Sion

The rubicund Apollo shall glow bright as the lustrous diamond and gold

The forgotten old book of fable becomes unfold

The hermetically closed pages of new hope soon will be toold

When the marches of the valiant knight go whenceforth, so the demons have no hold of this world

'Twas in the morn, a children's miracle heard from the unknown

Alas, who knows where the desperate shadow has gone long ago ?

“Hmm, this looks good to keep as a wonderful memory.” murmured.

The man then ripped the page of the poem from the book that had it, then put the rest of the book underground. The man got up from his seat, and read it again while lifting his paper high up in the air, praising its incomparable beauty.

“Wouldn't this be very pintoresco and Imponente when read out, damas y caballeros ?”

The man smiled in amazement for a while as he read the poem, which was held aloft by him. He was captivated by the singing of the Sirens of Sirenuse and Capreae. But only a moment later also, his face that was being amazed it became flat again. The man took down the poem paper, then sighed at it out of deep sadness.

“Unfortunately, the dead escritor was swallowed round by the earth, and pressed hard by his own creacion. Que Ironico, Vastaya ?”

The man then turned to his right. It was seen that a little girl was standing quietly while looking at her blankly from when. His name was Vastaya, and he was a close friend of the man who was an admirer of the literary work, or rather, a maniac of poetry. Vastaya sighed in annoyance, then walked a few steps closer to the poetic man.

“It's done with your own monologue, Flambeau ?” asked Vastaya with a slightly irritated face.

“The two of you always just appear as unknown as the dew in the morning, huh, damas ?”

“Quickly complete this stupid and useless dialogue, estupido.” said a woman who had suddenly been sitting in the same place as the one Flambeau was sitting in before.

Flambeau was not surprised at all by the sudden appearance of the two of them. In fact, Flambeau was never surprised at all by their habits.

“That's very rude, Aestus.” said Flambeau while slightly teasing Aestus at the same time. Aestus did not react at all.

“Use that brain of yours, stupid.”

“My corazon feels really sick because of you, you know.”

Aestus grieved in annoyance, then moved from his seat while taking his katana which he had placed on the ground all along.

“Do not forget the word Advent again. Search for new light.”

...****************...

In the beginning, there was only emptiness and also chaos. Dark energies pounded against each other everywhere. There was only an explosion, and sparks of small star clusters scattered in various directions.

But all that changes, when two very different entities are born into the darkness of outer space. They are Sakarette, the god of everything, and Mekhane, the goddess of everything. The two were originally destined to produce offspring by having sex, but the gradual dissent over hundreds of years made the two decide to create their own offspring, with no special connection occurring. Sakarette gave birth to humans, while Mekhane gave birth to the Archons.

Their descendants were scattered so much in various other worlds, and both of them were still constantly competing to produce offspring that could kill their opponents. But the blood of the Sakarette that flows in the body of all humans makes them thirsty for power and unlimited power. The purpose of human creation is like it has disappeared swallowed by time and history.

Mankind has strayed from their original purpose of serving the red star as warriors in their bright glowing armor. They had fallen into the abyss of darkness and found the power of futility. The mechanics must be destroyed, but they instead use them to oppress other humans who are the precious soldiers of red stars.

And for this reason, we the new light came into the world. To throw the eyes of the sheep who have lost their way and are always stubborn.

“Mama !? Mom !?”

The cry of the little girl echoed among the evidence of the earth that had been burned. The burning sound of fire was what was accompanying him at this moment. Everything was quiet, and no one answered. The 4-year-old girl has experienced what is called solitude, abandoned by everyone who loves her and takes care of her wholeheartedly.

From behind a burning building, Vastaya listens to everything the girl is crying out for. At least that was enough to make him think again about the same thing that also happened to his mother.

“New light ? Looks like he is suitable to get it.” muttered Vastaya while peeking at the little girl.

The girl was still searching for scavenging amongst the pile of building debris, like a legendary pirate looking for a treasure hidden under the sand of a beach covered in blood. It was at that moment that a pebble darted before his eyes from the right, making the girl turn in fear for an instant.

“Who is it !?”

The blue eyes of the sea girl met with Vastaya who was a glowing yellow like a golden trunk inside a treasure chest.

“Follow me, your mother is dead.”

Vastaya's voice was slow, but it could be heard deep into the little girl's brain. For a moment his body seemed to be manipulated by someone, but the control disappeared not long after. Unknowingly, the girl was already standing near Vastaya.

“T-impossible !! My mother is alive !! I can still feel it is here !!!”

“It was in vain to find your dead mother. Come with me, because I can give you a new 'mother'.”

The little girl was still willing to rebel, but instantly her brain seemed to be washed by something in that second. Vastaya finally made his way to the center of the city, followed by the little girl from behind like a dog obedient and loyal to his master.

The city of Pendragon.

“What did you bring here, Vastaya ? Little boy ?” ask Flambeau.

The look on Flambeau's face seemed so questioning what the little girl Vastaya could do to him. Aestus too, immediately turned to look at Vastaya with his interrogating gaze. It didn't take long for the two of them to succeed in making Vastaya become upset. In both of his hands, red-colored particles flew through the air, and his bright yellow eyes turned blood red.

“Ah, look. Puella we're angry right now it looks like..”.

Fortunately, Vastaya was still able to hold back her emotions by taking a deep breath. Such luck might not have happened a second time to them.

“Did you forget where I came from ? Little boy, like him. That's why I'm sure he can be just like me.”

“Do not lie. You brought it just because you want to have a brother, not ?” suddenly asked Aestus.

After all, what Aestus said was not wrong anyway. At the very least, Vastaya just wanted to defend that first argument.

“It's not wrong too.”

The silence rang out for a moment. Flambeau and Aestus looked at each other, as if they were asking in silence. After a while there was no sound at all, Aestus broke the atmosphere with a long sigh, which also answered the question in Flambeau's silence. The flat face of Flambeau shone again.

“Esta bien !! Then, why don't we just test it ??”

“Tes what, stupid ?”

Flambeau looked back, followed by Aestus and Vastaya. In the distance were some of the original military from Pendragon, who seemed to be looking for survivors from the Bulwark attack. Needless to say, Vastaya understood what Flambeau wanted the little girl to see. The same red particles shot out back from within his body, and this time, Vastaya was completely enraged.

“Don't joke !! He is still an ordinary man, a fool !!”

Hearing that he had just been cursed, Flambeau turned to Vastaya, and then equalized his height with Vastaya. His gaze was sharp towards Vastaya's reddish eyes, making the net owner goosebumps instantly.

“This puella-taught lunch. Tell me, do you not want to give your best to the red star??”

Vastaya's mouth was locked right then and there. Reluctantly and forcefully, Vastaya moves the little girl's body with her mind manipulation while looking down at her guilt, who indirectly also told both of them what he had done to the little girl to bring her here. Aestus and Flambeau knew instantly, that the little girl was following Vastaya not out of her own free will, but out of the coercion of Vastaya's forces.

“Always bad at hiding something.” murmured Aestus while turning his head and following where the little girl was walking away.

With her blank gaze, the little girl continued to walk among the ruins and under the dark red sky. His presence quickly caught the attention of the Pendragon soldiers, who ran straight towards him and asked him something.

“Hey, little girl, you okay ?”

The little girl did not answer. The same question was repeated, and the little girl still did not answer either. The soldiers began to be confused by it, and they immediately looked at each other, trying to explore the possible answers from their friends several times.

“Oi, this child...... Looks like something's weird.”

“Huh !?”

The little girl's body was instantly enveloped by the bright glowing blood red gas. Just as the soldiers reacted in surprise, large scythes then appeared out of nowhere and instantly slashed the soldiers to shreds with nothing left. Flambeau and Aestus knew that what their eyes saw was not the original strength of the little girl, but Vastaya's. But at least, Vastaya has managed to show something 'special' that only the little girl has, namely the ability to adapt her body to the IMP virus (Insidious Malevolent Protocol).

“It looks like your puella is a suitable medium for your strength huh, Vastaya ?” asked Flambeau, who was immediately replied with a sharp gaze from Vastaya.

“No, he's not my medium of strength. He .... Is my brother.”
