Sharing Love "The First Wife's Wait"
Chapter 44
Reymond returned to Fatma's room, not once did he get away from his legal wife. He has also recognized Fatma as his first wife in front of the parents of Nadira earlier. Unexpectedly, it turns out they are very supportive of Reymond and Fatma's marriage.
The flashback
"Come, come with us to go to Nadira's room together" said his father Nadira.
Reymond did not immediately follow the steps of the two middle-aged men, thus making the two old men turn their heads with questioning gazes at Reymond.
"What's up, son?" ask Nadira's mother.
"Sorry, sir, ma'am, can we talk to you for a second? There's something I want to tell you" Raymond asked Nadira's parents.
The two old men looked at each other, perhaps they were astonished by his son-in-law for asking them to talk about something. After father Nadira nodded, they were surprised, nadira's mother agrees to join Reymond.
Before Reymond took them to the hospital cafeteria, he took the time to meet Fatma who was still in the ER room first, after getting approval from Fatma, so Reymond began to approach the middle-aged pair.
"What's up, Rey?" asked Nadira with a little worry. He was worried that Reymond would find out about his son's relationship with his ex-daughter-in-law.
"Before, I apologize in advance for not telling you the truth. I have a wife other than Nadira"
Both of Nadira's parents had to show a surprised face, but it did not last long, they both smiled happily to hear the confession of his daughter-in-law.
"really? Who's the lucky lady who got Rey's son?" ask Nadira's mother
Raymond was quite surprised by the reaction of both of Nadira's parents, because not the upset or angry face they showed. But it was the happy and relieved face they showed her
"Aren't you angry or upset that I've been wishing for your daughter?" reymond asked in surprise.
"Why are we angry? If Rey can do justice to our daughter and your other wives, it doesn't matter to us" replied Mr Nadira.
A very surprising answer for Reymond.
"We just want to apologize, if in the future there is something very detrimental to you, please do not punish us severely" he said again.
Nadira's words were not understood by Reymond.
"What does Father mean?" ask Reymond.
"If one day you know all the truth about what has happened to you, please do not want Rey to punish us too severely" asked Mr. Nadira.
"Do you know anything?" ask again.
Mr. Nadira looks confused when he will answer Raymond's question, he looked a long time at his wife. Nadira's father looked like he was going to say something, but when he saw his wife began to rub the corner of his eye he did not say that.
"I'm sorry, you can't say this now" replied Mr. Nadira feeling guilty.
Reymond who understood the situation of the two parents Nadira could not pressure them to talk about it, finally he relented and did not ask anything more.
"Well if you and Mom can't say that right now, it's okay I'll understand. But I hope that my father and mother can prevent that bad thing from happening, let alone you from saying if it can harm me" Reymond said.
"Yes, Rey. We will try to prevent that from happening" Nadira's mother replied.
"Nadira is fine, the content is quite strong and nothing bad happened to her fetus" replied Nadira's mother.
"Thank God then, I'm quite satisfied to hear the news. Sorry I haven't seen him yet. For some reason, whenever I got close to him, I always felt nauseous and dizzy. Sorry if it offended you, I didn't mean anything" Reymond said.
"Could Rey's other wife be pregnant?" asked Nadira's mother who immediately got a nod of the head from Reymond.
"Yes, Mom. My first wife was pregnant, and she was only eight weeks pregnant" she replied.
"Thank God, we're glad to hear it. Hopefully your wife and children will always be given health until the moment of birth" said Nadira's mother.
"Amin, Ma. Thank you for your prayers" replied Reymond.
After talking for a long time, Nadira's parents finally resigned themselves to Reymond.so Reymond who will return to the room where Fatma is located.
Flashback off
"Sir, did something happen to Madame Nadira and her parents?" fatma asked as soon as she saw Reymond re-enter her ward.
"You don't have to worry, Nadira is fine, the content is quite strong. I told them the truth about our relationship, and you know what happened?" reymond asked, hanging up his words.
Actually Fatma was a little afraid, if both Nadira's parents did not approve of her and Reymond's marriage.
"A–what did they say?" tanya Fatma was a little scared.
Reymond stepped up to approach Fatma, who was still lying on the bed in pain, with her hand fitted with the infusion. Reymond also stretched out his hand to rub Fatma's head.
"You take it easy, they accept our marriage. They even pray for you and our future children to be healthy always" Reymond replied.
Fatma breathed a sigh of relief, after hearing the answer from her husband about the parents of Nadira.
"Thank God, I was worried that they would not accept our marriage" Fatma said.
Reymond smiled, upon hearing Fatma's words.
"Did she indirectly start accepting this marriage?" reymond asked in his heart.
"Yes. You don't have to worry about that anymore. Now focus on health, do not let your pain affect the health of our prospective children" said Reymond.
Fatma fell silent after hearing her husband's words,
"Our son-in-law? Didn't he doubt this kid yesterday? Why did he admit it now? What's wrong with her?" inner Fatma wondered, she still doubted all of Reymond's changing attitude towards her.
"Why are you quiet?" reymond asked when he saw Fatma speechless with her thoughts.
"Nothing, I'm fine" Fatma replied.
After Fatma answered Reymond's question, they fell silent with each other's thoughts.
