Chapters 30. I'll Divorce It

"Miss, please miss eat first. How can I eat medicine if I haven't eaten yet?" Nancy kept trying to persuade Khansa to obey and eat.

"I told you I didn't want to. Why does aunt Nancy keep pushing me?!" The impatient Khansa pushed the spoon down. Some of the food fell on the bed and littered the blanket. Nancy immediately placed the bowl on the table and picked up a tissue to clean the bed before going to the closet to pick up a new blanket to replace the old one.

"Miss, let me change the blanket for miss. Don't let the lady catch a cold blanket." Nancy carefully pulled the blanket over Khansa and replaced it with a new one. After the new blanket was successfully installed, Nancy still did not stop to persuade Khansa to eat but as she persuaded, it would not work on the girl she cared for.

"Miss, young master said he would visit the lady today. If the young master sees this kind of miss, the young master will be sad. So miss eat first." Nancy again scoops the food and puts it in front of Khansa's lips only to be knocked back by the girl. Make her blanket dirty again because of the porridge.

"You've said it over and over again. But where? Kevin still didn't even return messages from me. You want me to believe when I'm lied to?" Khansa shouted furiously.

Seeing Khansa getting angry, Kevin finally opened the door and entered.

Seeing the person she had been waiting for every day, Khansa immediately smiled happily. If he could, he would have already jumped and although the man was not willing for him to hug him, yet he could still pinch his sturdy arm. He was so grateful.

"Kevin, you've finally come." Excited speech. His eyes that had been gloomy with hatred since then had now disappeared and been replaced with shining stars. As if, the eyes that had been like that could obliterate something had never existed.

"Md. How are you?" Kevin nodded lightly as he walked in and approached the hospital bed with Danil still faithfully trailing behind him. Nancy learns she is no longer needed by Khansa to retreat and make way for Kevin to get closer.

"I'm not good. I'm mad you know." Khansa behaves like a child who has just been lied to and is currently sulking. She pursed her lips with her mouth swollen.

"I'm sorry. I've been very busy lately at the company." His reply was brief before turning to Nancy who was waiting at the side and asking. "Did Khansa take medicine well? How's the progress?" He said not to continue the discussion with Khansa.

"Miss it's time to take medicine, but miss won't eat." Answer Nancy respectfully.

"Bring here. Let me feed him."

"Good young master." Nancy immediately picked up the bowl of porridge she had placed on the table and gave it to Kevin before he retreated back and stood behind her. Like Danil, he was also just silently waiting for orders.

After some time, half the porridge in the bowl had moved into the stomach of Khansa until Khansa was no longer willing to feel full. Then Nancy cleverly gave the medicine to be taken by Khansa and gave a little explanation how to drink.

Under Kevin's supervision, Khansa ends up taking her medication properly. He smiled sweetly from beginning to end. What if Kevin already has a wife. He is Kevin's savior who will remain defensible. He is convinced that Kevin will do whatever he wants, including his wife who does not know where to come from.

"Kevin, I'd like to talk to you alone. It's okay, right?" Khansa said as she remembered her intentions.

"okay." Kevin agreed without thinking. Danil and Nancy, who were aware of the situation, were not asked to leave the room and closed the door behind them separating them from the two people they were living in.

"They're out. Tell me what you want." Kevin said as soon as they were left behind.

"I want you to divorce her right now." Khansa replied without a stale word. She had already found out Tania's background once she heard the news of her marriage. Then when he finds out if both Tania's background and Tania's personal despite her hate to admit it, he understands that Tania is better than him, he realized that he would not be able to compete with him directly. But still holding the US card, he was Kevin's life-saving. And he will hold fast to these words to get what he wants.

"My grandparents didn't allow it." Answer Kevin slowly.

"No. I know this is not the real reason. I've known you for more than five years and I know you're a person that no one else can control if you don't want to. Did you love him?" Khansa clenched her hands tightly as she asked. Waiting for Kevin's reply anxiously.

"...." - ".Kevin neither accepted nor denied it. He does not hate being close to Tania, but that does not mean that he loves her. Yet for some reason even though he had solidified his intention to divorce Tania, there was a hint of reluctance in his heart. But what surprised him the most was that the real reason he would divorce Tania was not solely because of Khansa, the reason was more because of Tania.

Since the day that she and Tania did that and in the end she asked Tania to take the contraceptive pill, she had noticed a change in Tania's attitude that was very much different than usual. Compared to Tania's clinging to him like before, he deeply felt the loss of Tania who turned into Tania who was estranged for him.

However, could this feeling like hers be said to be love?

"Cannot be. You can't love her Kevin. I was with you five years ago. But you still haven't accepted me. How could you possibly love the woman we just met?" Khansa sees Kevin's silent reaction and speaks at length to reassure Kevin that he is unlikely to fall in love with the new Tania.

"I'll divorce her. Give me some time." Said Kevin in the end before he stood up and walked out of the room without even looking at him.
