Chapter 29. Khansa Ambition

But Ambar's grandmother knew nothing and could not help but worry. He immediately went upstairs to see. Tania, inevitably follows Grandma Ambar from behind. He also wanted to know exactly what had happened before.

So there must have been something very important that kept Kevin from even being affected by his grandmother's miserable cries.

Haaah.... Tania let out a long breath. After the divorce is over, he'll have nothing to do with Kevin. So whatever reason Kevin had, he wouldn't care. All he had to think about was how he could slightly reduce Ambar's grandmother's grief as an expression of his apology to her grandmother-in-law.

Danil follows Kevin who walks inside the hospital corridor with a load on his shoulders that feels heavy. "Sir, should we send Miss Khansa to country D for more intensive treatment?" Danil hesitantly tried to provide a solution.

"You heard what the doctor said, didn't you? No matter how good the doctors and hospitals that treated Khansa were, if she was still fighting, the treatment would never work." Kevin replied with weight.

Danil took a long breath. He really could not help his master at this moment.

Danil's heart grew heavier as they reached the front of Khansa's ward. From inside the room, the voice of a girl who sounded sweet-sounding faintly rang out. Talking to him, another woman's voice filled with anxiety was also heard. Kevin didn't come in right away and wanted to see what happened. Through the glass window on the door, he saw everything in the room.

"Miss, please miss eat first. How can I eat medicine if I haven't eaten yet?" Nancy kept trying to persuade Khansa to obey and eat.

"I told you I didn't want to. Why does aunt Nancy keep pushing me?!" The impatient Khansa pushed the spoon down. Some of the food fell on the bed and littered the blanket. Nancy immediately placed the bowl on the table and picked up a tissue to clean the bed before going to the closet to pick up a new blanket to replace the old one.

"Miss, let me change the blanket for miss. Don't let the lady catch a cold blanket." Nancy carefully pulled the blanket over Khansa and replaced it with a new one. After the new blanket was successfully installed, Nancy still did not stop to persuade Khansa to eat but as she persuaded, it would not work on the girl she cared for.

"Miss, young master said he would visit the lady today. If the young master sees this kind of miss, the young master will be sad. So miss eat first." Nancy again scoops the food and puts it in front of Khansa's lips only to be knocked back by the girl. Make her blanket dirty again because of the porridge.

"You've said it over and over again. But where? Kevin still didn't even return messages from me. You want me to believe when I'm lied to?" Khansa shouted furiously.

Seeing Khansa getting angry, Kevin finally opened the door and entered.
