Chapters 168. Taking Care of a Sick Child

"It's not me. But my son." Kevin replied briefly.

"What! The kid?! Why is there a child suddenly? Which woman managed to conceive your child?"

The rest of the night, Kevin slept with Kaylee and the Emperor. Kevin would wake up whenever he felt movement beside him and check on Keylee.

The next day, Kevin woke up as usual. He got out of bed carefully so as not to wake the two children who slept in one bed with him. Last night, he asked Grandma Ambar to send some servants to come to his apartment earlier than usual to market breakfast for them. Usually the servants from Abraham's residence would come a little later after Kevin left for the office, and leave after their work was done.

"Good morning, young master." All the servants who were working greeted as they saw Kevin who they had just seen wearing casual clothes. Today he plans not to work. He wanted to accompany these two children. Kaylee is still sick.

After the Emperor went inside the bathroom, Kevin sat down next to Kaylee to check the child's body temperature. When he woke up, he checked and went down. He wanted to make sure of it again before waking her up.

"Thank God the fever has gone down. If you hadn't come down, Tania would have been mad at me." Kevin muttered in relief.

"Darling, dear Kaylee, wake up. It's noon. You should have breakfast before taking the medicine." Kevin stroked Kaylee's cheek gently to wake her up.

"Emmm" Kaylee squirms.

"Darling..." Kevin's words stopped when suddenly Kaylee's eyes that were originally closed opened wide and looked at her expectantly.
