Chapter 25. Tania's despair

"Ehem. Breakfast is ready downstairs. After you have finished changing clothes. Come down and eat." Said Kevin before he stood up from the bed and walked out. Close the door carefully.

Tania also felt that the atmosphere was not good. He just nodded lightly and saw Kevin who disappeared behind the door of his room. Tania did not continue to buy time and immediately came down after she finished wearing clothes. He did not even apply himself and just applied a series of facial treatments that should not be missed before he went down and found Kevin.

Below, Kevin was already waiting for him to sit at the dining table. Tania immediately got down and sat down next to him as usual. Kevin was silent. But he gave the food to Tania and asked her to eat right away.

"Sit down first. We have something to talk about." Said Kevin while he finished his meal. He wiped his lips with a tissue and also left half the contents of his plate.

"That's... For overnight... I'm..." Before Tania finished saying her apology, Kevin had already interrupted her words.

"Eat this." Kevin thrust a blue-colored pill at Tania while looking at Tania firmly.

Tania looked at her and could not help but ask. "What's this?"

"Pill contraception." Answer Kevin indifferently.

"What?!" Pekik Tania was shocked. He did not expect Kevin would give him the Pill.

"We can't have children. So, follow and drink." Kevin said coldly.

"Kevins... Can't we?"

"No. Our marriage is just a contract. There is no love between us. If there's a child born from last night's mistakes, we'll all suffer."

"But grandma..."

"Huh! I should've expected all of this to be because of grandma. Didn't I tell you not to obey Grandma?" Kevin said cynically.

Tania did not reply and lowered her head with tears that she could no longer hold back. He sacrificed everything. Ignoring his embarrassment and even losing his crown for the sake of Ambar's grandmother's happiness, but Kevin turns out to think everything is a mistake....

"Tania, for your own good, ate this contraceptive pill. Let's just say last night never happened. Forget everything. Let's just say last night was just a dream and everything will go back to how it was after we woke up in the morning." Kevin pushed the contraceptive pill back in front of Tania.

Tania glanced at the little blue-colored pill with a swish before taking it. "alright. I'll eat it then. It's all my fault and I'm sorry to have involved you in my stupidity. I shouldn't be too stupid to obey Grandma Ambar's wishes." After she finished speaking, Tania immediately put the pill into her mouth and pushed it with water before she stood up and ran back into her room with a sick heart.

Kevin saw Tania who was so fragile. He actually could not bear to do it and saw Tania crying like that. But he could only strengthen his heart because after all, all of this was for Tania's good.

After that day, both Kevin and Tania kept their distance. They barely even met for a few days. They were only seen together at the beginning of the month when they visited Abraham's residence to visit Seno's grandfather and Ambar's grandmother. Also at the time they went to Tania's parents' house. Moreover, they were nothing more than strangers who did not even know each other.

Grandma Ambar realized if even the two were even further away now. He had already found out from Danil but his grandson's assistant did not tell him even after he threatened him with various things. That was because even though Danil wanted to tell her, Danil himself did not know her either.

No one knew what was happening more clearly than Tania herself. Even Kevin would not understand if what he did would hurt Tania so much and make his wife feel like nothing else but disappointment and severe heartache. After all, Tania did all this and betrayed herself was for the sake of Ambar's grandmother's happiness and perhaps also the happiness of her parents. He knew that it was like Ambar's grandmother who craved a great-grandchild from him, both parents must want the same thing because Tania who often heard her mother who often said her when she was with her brother-in-law.

But the current Tania, not only was she no longer thinking about the happiness of Ambar's grandmother nor her parents, she was also unable to feel happiness for herself. Even when he was named as a talented young designer, he only responded with mediocrity.

And the most influential impact after this incident was that, after Tania took the contraceptive pill, she already did not want to have any more children in the future....
