Chapters 166. Kaylee Fever

By the time they reached the apartment, it was already night and the two children were already sleepy. So Kevin immediately took them to Tania's room. There are only two rooms in this apartment, his room and also Tania's room.

"Tonight, you're sleeping here." Kevin said as he brought the two children in.

Kaylee and the Emperor were shocked to see the room. Tania's room has a style that of course shows the owner. So the room was also about the same as Tania's room arrangement in their apartment. With a single look, these two children were convinced that this room was most likely indeed their mother's room.

Kevin went into their room before he was about to go to bed to see the two of them at midnight. He saw that the two children were already sleeping soundly under the covers. Their faces looked so peaceful. Kevin was unable to hold the corner of his lips raised to form such a big happy smile. Slowly, he approached the two children. Then looking at their faces that were very similar to her, a great sense of pride appeared in her heart. They are indeed his children. Without feeling it, he stretched out his hand to stroke their faces. But he danced back his hands after only a few inches from them.

"Well.... They were eager to kiss their forehead and say good night to them, but if they suddenly woke up, wouldn't they be surprised? Huh! Give it a little more time until they accept me." Kevin smiled bitterly. He looked again at the faces of these two children and only then did he realize that Kaylee's face looked wrong.

"Why does Kaylee's face look red?" Muttered Kevin. "Is he sick?" He continued while extending his hand to touch his forehead to check his body temperature.

But not until he touched Kaylee's skin, the little lips of the little girl muttered a sentence that was not so clear. But Kevin like her can hear it clearly. It made his hands freeze in the air.

"Daddy.... Daddy.... Does Daddy just want mommy? Hiks hyks." Keylee was delirious in his sleep because he had a fever. Kevin immediately regained consciousness and touched Kaylee's forehead which turned out to be a fever. Hot forehead. He also panicked. He immediately went out to contact Tania and asked her what she should do.

The Emperor also heard Kaylee's delusions and Kevin's gestures. He immediately woke up and touched Kaylee's forehead to confirm it. Kaylee's body temperature is high. Then he heard Kevin talking to someone outside the room. Kevin Tidsk closed the door tightly so that the Emperor could hear Kevin talking to someone across the phone.

"Darling, Kaylee has a fever. What am I supposed to do? Do I have to take her to the hospital?" Kevin's words are clear.

"OKAY. I'll check it out first." Answer Kevin. He went to his room to find a thermometer.

Shortly after, Kevin returned. The emperor who was awake pretended to be asleep. He wanted to see how Kevin handled this.

Kevin doesn't realize that the Emperor woke up because the focus is on Kaylee. He panicked. He had never cared for a sick person before, let alone a small child. He placed the thermometer in Kaylee's armpit carefully. He also did not want to wake the Emperor.

After getting the results of Kaylee's body temperature, Kevin went back outside and spoke to Tania.

"Her body temperature is three nine. Hows it? Baby, what am I supposed to do? I'm worried." Kevin panicked.

"Don't panic. Children usually have fever. Now wake up Kaylee. Give me some heat-lowering drugs."

"Honey, there is no medicine for children. Did I just call the doctor?"

"Yes. To wait for the doctor to come, you compress first so that his body temperature does not rise again." Tania gave a calm explanation. He can't panic or Kevin's there getting panicked.

"OKAY. I'll call the doctor soon." Kevin nodded.

"Do you know how to make a compress?" Tanya Tania stopped Kevin's steps who was already going down to the kitchen to prepare water.

In accordance with Tania's instructions, Kevin returned to the room after he finished preparing the compress. Then put a bowl of warm water on the table. Then carefully, put the towel that had been given cold water on Kaylee's forehead. Kevin did it a few times. Every time Kevin put a compress on his forehead, Kaylee would move uncomfortably.

"Don't hurt, baby. Daddy's so worried about you." Kevin muttered while stroking Kaylee's head. The emperor who heard it almost glared in shock.
