"Why don't you like this gift?" arman asked in astonishment. The look on his son's face was so stiff, it could not be read by him, while he saw Lidya immediately lowered his head.

All eyes were on Alex when he heard her words, except for Lidya. All waiting for the reason that Alex will say, after hearing a question from Arman.

Realizing the father's sharp gaze and the expectant gaze on his mother, Alex swallowed the saliva with great difficulty. He then laughed softly while scratching his head that did not itch. "Alex was just kidding, why are you guys looking at me like that?" chirps while glancing towards Pramana and Maria who at that time looked panted.

Lidya smiled cynically while Arman and Rosa exhaled a sigh of relief.

"Your spark is not funny, you almost dropped your heart" Arman said, hiding his regret. He knew that Alex did not like this matchmaking or wedding gift, but he felt he had to do it, because he wanted his son to change. Because lately he often gets negative reports about his son out there.

"Are we done, Pa, Ma?" ask Alex. He was starting to feel uncomfortable.

"It has. And after this you can pack up and then leave the hotel to stay in your new home," said Arman a bit commanding.

Almost Alex yells to refute Arman, but he realizes he is in a restaurant with a large number of visitors, and he still wants to keep his good name, so he was very forced to just nod his head and leave in front of everyone.

Maria looked up, looking at Alex. To be honest, she was offended that she was not thought to exist by her son-in-law, but it was very different from the reaction shown by Pramana, her husband. The man walked over to Arman and shook his hand tightly. "Thank you for everything, man. You have given us our honor back" he said.

Arman chuckles. "Not a big thing, I just want to please my son-in-law" he replied, who got a nod from his wife Rosa.

Lidya looked at her father with embarrassment. How could such a proud Pramana be willing to bow down and say thank you so easily. And his father has made it as capital, to continue his big business that is on the edge. Pramana has forced her to become Alex's wife who never really wanted her, even though the man has taken her chastity on the first day of their marriage.

Lidya nodded and smiled at Rosa then left, following the steps of Maria who had just left the place. Lidya knew her mother's heart was in turmoil at this moment.

"Ma, wait for Lidya."

Maria rubbed the corner of her wet eyes and stopped and turned her body to face Lidya. "You're going too?" tanyakanya.

"What else do you want there? While Lidya's husband has gone first," replied Lidya.

Maria stepped quietly beside Lidya. Sometimes he glanced at his daughter who looked ordinary.

"Can Lidya stop by Mama's room?" ask Lidya suddenly.

"You didn't catch up with Alex? Don't you guys have to pack up?"

"No, Lidya wants to be with Mama. Just a minute, Ma, after that Lidya will pack up. There's not much Lidya has left anyway."

Maria smiled and nodded.

Soon they arrived in front of Maria and Pramana's room. However, just as they stepped in, Alex's voice rang out in front of the room.

"We pack up and get out of here" said Alex coldly. Not a second he looked at Maria, even to smile say hello he did not do. His eyes were on Lidya.

"But I ...."

"Or do you want to stay here? All right, I'll pack up and go alone" said Alex who then stepped wide, leaving Lidya and Maria who were now staring at each other sadly.

"Go away, don't let Alex scold you" said Maria.

"I'm sorry Lidya, Ma."

Maria shook her head then hugged Lidya tightly. "Mama who should have apologized to you, representing Papa," she replied regretfully. "Patience, never give up, I'm sure one day Alex will love you" she continued.

"Yes, Ma" replied Lidya. "Let's just relax, it's because we still don't know each other."

Lidya kissed the reverence of the back of her mother's hand and then bailed away following Alex, accompanied by Maria's sad gaze. "One day Alex will bow down and not want to lose you, my daughter, keep it!" hisses.

"Bring everything in the closet, because I won't give you anything in that house" Alex said.

Lidya just kept quiet while removing some clothes from the closet. All the clothes are new and still in a neat and clean wrap. Lidya just moved it into the suitcase.

Alex just sat down and played his phone. Lidya did not protest, as she realized her current position, after her father had acted like a beggar to Alex's family.

"For a long time, hurry up!" alex shouted, as he saw Lidya arranging the clothes one by one into the suitcase.

Lidya remained silent. But now he just put the clothes in the suitcase and immediately closed it. "It's over."

"What the fuck are you? All those expensive clothes will be damaged if you enter them carelessly!" alex protest.

"I'll iron it after I get home. If I clean up now it will be too long," replied Lidya held back in annoyance.

"Review if you don't do it" Alex threatened.

Lidya just nodded obediently.

Suddenly the sound of knocking shocked them. Alex codes Lidya to open the door immediately.

"Papa?" exclamation Lidya.

Alex snorted and stood behind his wife, looking at Pramana questioningly. "What's up, Om?"

"Your gift is left at the dinner table" answered Pramana with a big smile.

Alex silently glanced at Lidya who immediately received two keys from her father's hand.

"Okay, papa to the room first," said Pramana. "And one more, call me papa, don't om" he said as he looked at Alex with a big smile.

Instead of answering, Alex turned her back and sat on the couch. "Lidya, we have to hurry!"

Pramana was stunned to see Lidya nod obediently to her husband and went back into the room. He still had time to see, his daughter was now dragging a large suitcase alone, while Alex just saw it. "I'm sorry, son. Papa was forced to make you like this" he sighed sadly.

Pramana closed the door of the room slowly and then walked away with a shunt.

"Happy?"

Pramana was surprised to hear a cynical voice nearby. "M-maria, are you here?"

"Have you satisfied making our daughter a lackey in front of her husband?" mary asked with a hurt look at her husband. Apparently he followed Pramana who had been canceled into their room and he had seen everything that happened before.

"Mary, don't be. Everything will change in the next few days" Pramana said.

Maria smiled cynically. "I'm not sure. Your chosen daughter-in-law seems to hate Lidya a lot."

"Because Alex doesn't know him yet" Pramana said quickly.

"We'll see later. And remember, you are responsible if anything happens to Lidya" said Maria, who then passed away, leaving Pramana alone.
