Chapter 47 The Idle Man

Alex had to go to a meeting with Josie. He has no other choice.

Alex, I beg you not to get close to Josie or our relationship at stake. Sandra's threat is back in Alex's mind.

In between the phone meetings Alex reads, there is a phone call from Sandra.

"Dear, dinner? okay, I'm meeting later when I'm done I'll pick you up"

Alex doesn't care about a few pairs of eyes staring at her who's making out with Sandra on the phone. Including Josie who was also looking at him with a little annoyance.

"Can we continue the meeting?" said Josie held back her jealousy. He wouldn't listen to Alex semesra on Sandra. He dreamed that he was the one who filled Alex's heart and the man would call him with a call of love.

For Josie who is rarely in love and always confused when asked about the dream man now she knows what the definition of the dream man is like Alex.

"Lex wait...." Josie chases after Alex's steps, who seems to be in a hurry to leave the meeting room.

"Josh I have an appointment with Sandra, next time we talk" Alex patted Josie's shoulder gently.

Josie smiled sadly her dream man was the husband of people.

"Ehm! you need a dinner buddy?" Bram stood behind Josie. He knew Josie was heartbroken right now.

"No!" Josie stepped away. But Bram doesn't give up and follows Josie to the parking lot.

"I said no! why are you still following me?"

"Josie come on, look at Alex he doesn't mind you"

"I don't need your judgment Bram!"

"Alex guy married Josie darling"

"Are you not? don't forget you're still a married man" Josie said with a mocking smile.

"You're right, then why don't you have dinner with me? are you afraid of falling for me?"

"All right, it's up to you" Bram steps off to his car. Josie looked at Bram's back which was getting away and disappeared into the car.

Why do men have all wives? is there not one left for me who is not the husband of people?! unfortunately, I was close to those who had paired up. It was sad for me.....

Josie went to a restaurant not far from her apartment. He ordered spaghetti and orange juice.

Enjoying dinner alone is common for Josie. He looked around and his eyes stopped at a table. There Bram was seen having dinner with a woman.

Look at that loser he was seducing me and now he ends up at the table with another young woman.

Josie drinks her orange juice and walks to Bram's desk.

"Oh, you didn't manage to seduce me and now you're with your other prey?" sindir Josie with sadists.

Bram and the young lady before him looked at each other. They looked confused and held back laughter.

"Josie what are you talking about?" Bram stood up from his seat and looked at Josie's pretty face.

"Miss I warned you if he was a married man!"

Josie looked at the young woman with a warning and threatening look.

"What's this?"

So this woman called him sister? so familiar to them! yam....

"And you Bram, your trial with your wife isn't over yet have you dated a younger woman?"

Bram's laughter almost broke but he held it back to protect Josie's self-esteem.

"Josh looks like you're misunderstanding, Maura is my sister, my younger brother" Bram said, smiling sweetly as he showed off his two dimples.
