Chapter 26 The Feast

Alex and Sandra arrive at Alex's parents' luxurious residence. There is a crowd because the party has started since.

Sandra's mother-in-law deliberately celebrated her birthday during the day because she preferred the atmosphere of daylight near the beach while waiting for a beautiful moment that is watching the sunset.

The beautiful-looking Sandra with her casual stellan walks gracefully by Alex's side.

"Dear Alex" Madam Vita is seen hugging her recently arrived son. Some of the guests were stunned by Alex's good looks.

"What is this party?"

"Birthday party"

"Whose year? mama's been over and over again and my wife gave my mom a gift of branded bags"

"It's Alex's mom's birthday party, if it's your mom's and dad's wedding anniversary party"

Alex scratched his chin as he circulated his gaze among the crowd of guests. He was looking for his father.

"Hi Sandra .." Madame Vita greets Sandra after a little argument with Alex.

"You're so pretty Sandra"

"Thank you mom, she's so beautiful"

Both of them smiled at each other, Vita mistress did not like Sandra.

"Oh yes this is a gift for my mom"

"Oh thank you dear"

"Sandra come here" Alex calls Sandra to join her father-in-law as well.

"Happy wedding anniversary" said Sandra.

"Thank you Sandra, papa hope your marriage is also durable"

Sandra smiled bitterly, she did not know if her marriage to Alex would be long considering Alex is a handsome man, young and in the gillai of many women. Maybe later when Sandra has started to wrinkle Alex will turn away from her.

"Of course our marriage will be long".Alex replied confidently.

Hearing Alex's reply Sandra didn't know she had to be relieved or it was just a fleeting entertainment.

"Alex...?"

Just now Sandra tried to think positively and accept Alex's answer, now there was a beautiful woman standing before them with a sparkling face.

"Maura?" Alex recognizes the young woman as Maura.

"Yes you remember me?" Maura hugs Alex without permission.

"Well of course I remember you Maura, my best friend"

"Hi..." Maura greets Sandra and is only greeted by a sweet smile.

"Maura she's my wife Sandra"

"Oh yeah I remember, you're Sandra Campbell, right? the rich widow? you're a famous socialite, aren't you?"

"You know Ra is my wife now" Alex felt a little bad. He grabbed Maura's hand and asked her to step aside for a moment to talk.

Sandra did not care what the two people were talking about. He took a drink and started drinking it.

Half an hour passed, an hour passed and now Sandra was still standing alone holding a drink glass.

Alex was still talking to his good friend Maura.

Damnit damnit! i'm bored! sandra's upset.

He grabbed another glass of drink and gulped it down.

It seemed like he was almost drunk, all hanging around and he was eager to laugh at his loser-like self.

Come to the family party with the husband, then in cueki and left alone.

"See Maura she's so pretty huh Sandra? but you take it easy they're just friends" said Madame Vita who seemed to deliberately heat Sandra's heart.

"That maura is also from a rich family, you know Sandra, maybe you know their company"

Telak, Vita's mistress is upset by her daughter-in-law. He wanted to take Sandra down and make her jealous but it seemed useless.

Sandra was drunk. He began to stagger. While Alex is still talking to Maura, they move into the house so Alex does not see Sandra's condition.

"Why is he?" an invited guest saw Sandra fall on the floor. Sandra sat down and took off her shoes.

"Is he drunk?" whispers began to be heard among the guests.

Alex who was told by his father immediately approached Sandra.

"Sandra?! what's the matter? you drunk?!"

Alex greets Sandra with anxiety. She was embarrassed by Sandra's behavior.

"Why can't you control yourself Sandra!"

Alex gets angry and takes Sandra to her room at her parents' house.

"You're mad at me now?! you brought me here and you're engrossed in that woman yourself!"

"Sandra why are you?! you misunderstood Maura?"

"Misunderstand? okay, I'm going to go home!"

"Sandra!"

Alex chases after Sandra's rapid steps towards the car. He immediately drove Alex's car half drunk.

Sandra stops the car by the roadside and cries in the car without Alex knowing Sandra's heart aches and she feels her pride is trampled by the behavior of Alex and his mother.
