Chapter 16 The Role of Dad Connect 1
Emely was seen coming to Alex's office with a shaky appearance as usual. He broke into Alex's study.
Alex looked up and looked coldly at Emely, who was standing in the perfect pose as a top model.
"What's wrong?" alex asked who turned his attention back to the laptop screen in front of him.
"Alex baby you didn't forget your promise to me, did you? when did you leave that old man?"
Alex grinned slightly and did not answer Emely's question.
"Alexes...." Emely was already next to Alex and wrapped both her hands around the man's neck. The smell of the perfume greets Alex's smell. There was little that made Alex stunned that morning was the large chest of Emely felt swiping on Alex's shoulder. Feels perfect chewy.
"Emm! Emy....." Alex tries to remove Emely's grip on her neck.
"Why baby? you don't like me hugging?"
Alex stood up from his seat and Emely's grip slipped off. The woman was surprised and slightly retreated her steps. He looked at Alex.
"Emely I don't know when I'm leaving Sandra so you don't mess with my plans, or I'm gonna kick you out of my life forever!"
"I'll complain to Sandra of all your rotten plans if you dare to throw me out of your life!"
Emely smiled sinisterly and stepped away leaving Alex the sculpting. Alex is thinking how dangerous Emely would be if he dismantled all his plans on Sandra.
Amidst Alex's musings about Emely being cunning her phone reads. An unknown name was on his phone screen.
"Good day sir, is it true that you are lord Androdelas father of Jeremy Camppel?"
A foreign, firm and straightforward voice sounded on the phone. Alex frowned. He doesn't know when Jeremy recognized him as his father.
"Who am I talking to?" alex asked while stroking his chin with fingers.
"Your son Jeremy is being held at the police station because of reports from Keenan's family of abuse of their daughter"
"Harassment?"
"Certainly, can you be here soon to be questioned about Jeremy?"
Alex turns off the phone and calls Sandra. The phone is not picked up, Alex decides to go to the police station himself. He left in his car.
Upon arrival at the police station Sandra approached Alex with a puffy face.
"Sandra....." Alex looked at Sandra and Jeremy in turn. Jeremy who was accused of being a patient just bowed pitifully.
"Alex please ....." Sandra looked hard at Alex. In that instant, all the plans Alex had put together to get Sandra's treasure had faded. Alex looked at the woman before him who was helpless and pitying. Somehow seeing Sandra like that her heart was broken.
"Relax baby" Alex calms Sandra down and sits back at the police desk.
"I'm gonna have time to talk to Jeremy"
"Please"
Alex approached Jeremy and patted Jeremy on the shoulder gently, giving strength and encouragement to the boy.
"Courtesy, tell me if this isn't true?" Alex looks into Jeremy's eyes, making sure Jeremy doesn't lie to him.
"I didn't do anything to the girl, she slandered me" said Jeremy desperately.
"Alright I'm glad to hear you didn't make that mistake. Don't worry, I'll take care of everything"
"Can I be free now?"
"I don't think yet, me and your mom are gonna find you the best lawyer. If you're innocent, we'll get you out soon"
Jeremy nodded, while Sandra cried and hugged her eldest son.
"Alex how's this?" sandra asked when the two were in Alex's car.
"We're looking for Jeremy as a good lawyer, I believe he didn't do the deed"
Sandra nodded and dropped her head on Alex's shoulder.
