Dili was in front of the mirror, looking at herself proudly. That night she felt so beautiful. Her hair was neatly bun, her makeup was thin but it looked perfect, and a beautiful red dress encircled her body. She felt very different from usual, and it made her feel more confident.
Dili wore a long red dress that looked elegant and simple on the night. He was driven by a driver to Edgar's residence. He felt tense and a little nervous as he stood in front of the door of Edgar's apartment. He could feel his rapid heartbeat and irregular breathing.
But all that tension was gone when he saw Edgar's face. Her sweet smile and loving gaze made Dili's heart warm. “You look beautiful once tonight,” said Edgar, looking at Dili with admiration.
Dili smiled shyly. He was happy to be out with Edgar. This is the second date after the deal they made.
“Where do we go tonight?” dili asked, clasping Edgar's arm.
Presumably Edgar looks surprised because Dili like he is doing his role well. She was very much trying to be a real lover.
“We will have dinner at my favorite restaurant,” Edgar said as he pointed to a large building in front of them.
The restaurant was so elegant and elegant. Dili felt a little shocked as she entered it. He had never visited such a place before. But Edgar looks very relaxed and confident, so it makes Dili feel calm.
After they sat down, Edgar introduced Dili to his mother. Indira looks amazed by the beauty of Dili. “This Dili, Mama. My girlfriend,” said Edgar while introducing Dili. He without hesitation mentioned the word 'boyfriend' in front of his mother.
Indira smiled warmly and looked at Dili with great admiration. “You are very beautiful, Dili,” said Indira gently.
"Thank you, Mom. I'm so happy to see you tonight" Dili replied with a smile.
"Are you serious this time with Dili, Edgar?" tanya Indira made sure.
Edgar grabbed Dili's waist and tightened his body. Tampa said he kissed Dili's cheek in front of his mother directly. Dili widened her eyes with Edgar's behavior.
"Of course, Mama. I've been in love since I first met him" Edgar said, looking into Dili's eyes.
Indira was relieved to hear that answer. She was always worried about her son's sexual orientation. But, seeing her son so happy with this beautiful woman made her feel calm.
They sat down and ordered food. During dinner, they talked about Dili's daily life. Indira was amazed by Dili's stories and she was very happy to get to know this woman more closely.
"So, how did you get to know Edgar?" ask Indira with interest.
Dili smiled, "We met at a restaurant on a blind date. We initially misunderstood each other about who our partners were, but we ended up feeling a good match for each other."
Indira was surprised, "Oh, is that right? How do you know Edgar is the right man for you?"
Dili became clumsy. He turned to Edgar because he had difficulty answering the question. "Em, I don't know ... I don't understand the reason myself. In my eyes Edgar was a delight even during the first meeting. Maybe because he was older, I became comfortable because Edgar always matured when we were together. His words were always wise, too" he said.
Dili was confused as to what to say. The words that had just come out of his mouth did not even know where it came from. However, his words turned out to be able to make Edgar and his mother stunned.
Dili was embarrassed again.
"Oh, yes. You said your college was XXX, huh? It was also Edgar had studied there," said Indira.
"Edgar is a proud alumni of our campus. I also did not expect to be able to be met with exemplary students in his era," said Dili.
"I initially doubted my son's words. I strongly disagree that he is in a relationship with a woman whose age is far adrift because there will definitely be many differences in mindset. But, I think you are quite mature at your age now," said Indira.
Dili just smiled. To be honest, she has an adult soul trapped in her younger body two years ago. All the events of the past made him wiser in making decisions. Much different from his old self who can only give up.
That night was a lot of fun. Indira is very happy to get to know Dili more closely and see her son happy together with a very special woman.
"Thank you for taking me out tonight" Dili told Edgar.
After dinner, the two took a short walk outside enjoying the night air in the city park area.
"I'm the one who should be thanking you for meeting my mother" Edgar said.
"You know, I was really happy to meet your mother earlier. He looks very happy when he sees us together" said Dili, looking up at the sky.
"Of course he was happy after meeting his future son-in-law" Edgar said.
Dili immediately turned her head towards Edgar with bulging eyes and manyun lips.
"Why? The truth is like that, right?" Edgar held back his laughter when he saw the funny expression Dili showed him.
"We're just pretending, it's temporary" Dili said.
Edgar frowned. "I told you I don't want to pretend. This one month long poke you are my boyfriend," he said in a pushy tone.
Dili felt that the debate. "Ah, stop! It's up to you!" said it.
Edgar smiled. He patted Dili's head who was annoyed by his jokes. "I'm so happy to see you meet my mom. I know my mother was very worried about my personal life. So, your appearance can provide a little relief for him," said Edgar.
Dili was touched by Edgar's words. "That means your mother cares about you and cares about you" she said.
Edgar nodded. "I know that. But, sometimes I find her caring very disturbing. I still want to take my business seriously. Marriage is not my priority."
