Revenge Wife Persecuted
Chapter 19

Dili ran in a hurry, carrying a cardboard box containing old files from her study. In a hurry, he paid less attention to the surrounding environment. When he saw a bucket of water and tried to avoid it, his feet tripped and nudged the bucket of water. Unintentionally, the bucket flipped over and the water spilled onto the floor.

"Ouch!" pekik Dili who almost fell along with the cardboard he carried.

A man who was mopping nearby instantly went berserk. "Look at what you're doing, you're ruining my work! If you use your eyes!" he shouted while cursing Dili.

"Sorry, Mas. I was completely unintentional," said Dili feeling guilty. He then took the files scattered into the cardboard again.

"Huh! It's good sorry sorry! You ugly new employee!" maki Jono's.

Dili tried to explain that it was just an accident, but the man wouldn't listen. The longer, the atmosphere warmed up.

Suddenly, a well-dressed and dignified man appeared. "What's this?" asked the man while looking at Dili and the angry man.

The man pulled out an identity card and introduced himself. "I'm Adli, the financial manager at this company. And you, who?"

Yono's eyes widened as he read the biodata of the card proffered to him. He knew the man had a high position in the company.

"Sir, I'm Yono. I was just trying to mop the floor, but this woman instead nudged my bucket of water!" yono replied while pointing at Dili.

Adli looked at Dili attentively and then said, "Sorry, Yono. But I see this girl is a new staff in the production division. Maybe he's still used to this office environment."

"That's it, Mr. Adli. He was indeed a shameless new employee!" sahut Yono with a cynical tone.

"You really can't be polite, Yono. It's a workplace, not a place of emotional indulgence" Adli told Yono.

Yono flinched and looked at Adli with eyes still full of anger. But he felt defeated. A financial manager certainly has power in the company.

Adli looked at Yono sharply. "You should apologize to Dili too. He accidentally nudged your bucket."

Yono turned his head towards Dili, and their eyes met. Dili nodded, indicating that she accepted the apology.

"Have it done, don't carry it around this matter. We are all here to work, not to get angry at each other" Dili said, trying to calm the situation.

Adli nodded in agreement. "That's exactly right, Dili. Now, you two get back to work. Yono, don't let your emotions interfere with your work."

Yono nodded, and then left the room while carrying his bucket and mop.

Dili breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Mr. Adli. I don't know what to do."

Adli smile. "No need to thank you, Dili. We're here to help each other. Besides, you're just starting out, there's definitely a lot you don't know yet."

"Yes, I still have a lot to learn. I hope to be a good intern here" said Dili.

"It can be, as long as you want to learn and try," said Adli.

Dili nodded. "I'll try my best."

Adli smiled again. "All right, now get back to your job. If there's a problem, don't hesitate to contact me or Mr. Mizan."

Dili nodded, and then walked out of the room. He felt relieved that the situation was calm, but on the other hand he also felt depressed because he was still not used to the new work environment.

He then headed to the warehouse to continue his work. He thought about Adli's words, that he should learn and try his best. He promised himself not to disappoint his father and co-workers.
