CHAPTER 77. SUSPICIOUSLY

Deanna was watching the city streets during a jammed day and she came back to thinking. “Actually what is it that Titus wants to say? Even though he was hit, he still insisted on meeting and talking.” Deanna sighed while massaging the base of her nose as she felt a little dizzy thinking about everything.

“Times his wife who came and arbitrarily got angry and spied on my future son-in-law. Now her husband is coming. Why can't they just sit back and let my son's marriage run smoothly without any interruptions? Basic!”

He was still grumbling along the way to the point that he didn't realize anything.

“Oh Lord! Hopefully Jaysen doesn't know that Gian brought my son-in-law home! Shouldn't matter, should it? Toh Gian himself said that he did have a plan to go to Wisesa's residence today.” Deanna sighed while shrugging her shoulders. He now felt calmer and more relaxed.

”Definitely Gian came there to check and treat the bodyguards who were hit by the punishment.” Deanna smiled feeling funny at the fact she knew about her son.

“Oh, Jaysen! The boy's policy, in front of my son-in-law, pretentiously said that he would not punish the guards but in fact he punished them through Argya.”

Deanna shook her head feeling amused herself, “Oh my goodness Jaysen! Since when did he start acting like that huh? Must pretend everything in front of his future wife. Is he wearing a mask pretending to be a good person? There's just that kid now.” Deanna enjoyed the rest of the trip with pleasant thoughts about her son.

But then there was a thought that flashed that troubled the middle-aged woman. “By the way, why did Gian come to see Sabrina Saab? It feels kind of weird huh he suddenly appeared there?” Deanna thought for a while but she never got the answer. ‘What Gian also plans to get married in the near future?’ thought.

Because earlier he had seen the young doctor looking at the model of the wedding dress so he thought maybe Gian would be married too. “But who will be Gian's running mate? I know he doesn't have a partner yet?” Deanna urged and shrugged her shoulders not to think more about the man.

“Any as well actually? Suddenly appeared like that while Eleanor and I were there? But---yes already. It's none of my business.” Deanna leaned her shoulders and forgot about Gian from her mind. Now there is another much more important thing to think about and deal with.

“Titus Malachi? What does he really want to come for? Fuck up! Husband and wife are equally troublesome. Ck! Can't they just let us calm down?” Deanna clucked a little annoyed especially she remembered how Naura treated her future daughter-in-law at that time.

“Here was his wife who came to make trouble, now her husband also followed.”

Meanwhile, at Wisesa's residence, the car driven by Gian just arrived and passed through the gate of the luxury house and stopped right in front of the main entrance.

“Happy day doctor Gian.”

“Good day Argya. How are you?” greet Gian with a smile. He looks very calm and behaves as usual whenever he meets Jaysen's confidant.

Argya slightly lowered his head then put on his formal smile. “Taber I'm fine doctor. Thanks for asking.”

“Are we able to directly or---” Gian raised both his eyebrows staring in wonder at Argya who was looking closely at his car. Suddenly Gian's mind became confused and worried if there was something in his car that made Argya suspicious.

“Argya? What's up?”

“Sorry doctor Gian. Can I check your car for a moment?” ask Argya.

“Eh?”

Argya took a little distance, then observed the luxury car that could only fit two passengers. Argya did not touch Gian's Porsche Boxster silver but the bodyguard's head even walked around the car twice. He was about to duck down to check the bottom of the car when Gian's voice interjected.

“What exactly is Argya? Why do you suddenly want to check my car?” jian asked to walk closer to his car. “What happened to my car? Until you have to check it like this? You've never done this before.”

Argya checked the bottom of the car. He turned to face Gian. Argya again put on his formal smile, and replied in a very calm manner.

“I'm sorry doctor but if you don't mind, there's something I want to ask.”

“Yes. Please! What do you want to ask me?” Gian raised his shoulders casually. He looked very calm and there was no anxious or fearful expression on his face.

Argya was silent for a moment and looked like he was thinking. Then Argya looked down and said,

“I'm sorry. I just seem to have misjudged it. Please, I'll drop off the treatment room.”

“Ah wait.” sela Gian directly ran towards his car. The young doctor opened the car door and inserted half of his body.

He ducked for a moment circulating his gaze as if looking for something. He put his hands through the chair and grabbed a small open bottle and closed the bottle. Then he put the bottle in his pants pocket.

“There are left.” he said while smilingly brandishing a penlight that he had previously accidentally dropped.

Argya nodded, he felt nothing strange. He immediately guided Gian and the two men immediately left leaving the main entrance. Completely unaware there was a honey brown unraveling figure crawling out from under the car. Not long after the two men left. Yeah, Emily's the one hiding under Gian's car.

‘Yes God! Almost there!’ Emily let out a long breath of gasping for air. Her hair was messy and her clothes were dirty but the girl's face looked relieved.

‘Thank God I was hiding. It could be a long matter of business if Argya to know that I had gone home with Gian.’

Then Emily stood up in Gian's car and stood up.

He then wagged his dirty clothes to reduce the little dust. He looked around a few times and tried to observe his surroundings. Then the girl darted running to the side of the house, in this condition it would be safer if she entered from the direction of the garden beside the house.

‘Hopefully I don't meet anyone.’ he murmured.

He prayed to no one to see him. Then what he really hoped for was, ‘Hopefully Jaysen didn't know about this. I could be in big trouble later if he finds out. Yes, hopefully!’ he whispered in his heart and continued running until he reached the park next to the luxury house.

Meanwhile, Gian who was already in the house was precisely in one of the rooms was shocked. “Why did they get hurt like this?” ask her with a frown.

After the three patients he examined, all of them had almost the same injuries. The young doctor concluded that most likely the rest of the patients also had similar injuries.
