Sabrina let out a slow sigh, “Yes it seems I have misjudged it then. It turns out that the goddess Artemis is not that important to you. Too bad yes.” Sabrina smiled. Had there not been any bandages covering and encircling Jaysen's eyes, surely the pair of eyes would have hit him with a sharp look by now.
But the beautiful designer was already feeling quite satisfied when he saw the blind man putting on a serious attitude towards him now. It turned out that the blind man ended up getting hooked as well by Sabrina's speech.
“Is there a relationship with my future wife?” ask the curious Jaysen. His tone sounded cold with a dark aura coming out, as if he wanted to intimidate his interlocutor.
But Sabrina still responded casually as if unaware of anything.
“It looks like so,” he replied engrossed in observing the pretty ornaments on his fingernails.
Jaysen felt like groaning in despair, but the man was still trying to increase the limit of his patience against Sabrina this time around.
“If you do not want to explain it well --”
“If anyone wants to ask someone else for something, shouldn't there be one word he should say? Yes, just think of it as a piece of what is politely named santu.”
There was silence for a while as Jaysen and Sabrina both fell silent.
Both are in their own minds. Especially Jaysen, the blind man gnashed his jaw and clenched both hands. He felt that his taste for the famous designer increased dractically hundreds of times. He knew what the woman wanted to say.
“Oh alright!” Sabrina clapped her hand once, though,
“It seems obvious that the Artemis problem is not too important for a Jaysen Avshallom!” then he got off the couch after he finished talking.
Sabrina's melodious voice sounded as sharp as a knife to Jaysen.
“Then I excuse you first.”
“Wait! At least explain first, what you want to say about my future wife.” Jaysen cleared his throat once as he finished his sentence.
Both of Sabrina's eyebrows rose, she was still waiting for the continuation of Jaysen's speech which looked like she was having trouble talking.
“To-” Jaysen cleared his throat once again. “Please?”
Sabrina let out a long sigh and shook her head with a desperate expression. “What's that hard for you to say please?” kelhnya while walking closer and back to the sofa. “Yes God, I can imagine how heavy my Artemis is when I'm on the side of this kind of person.”
“What do you mean say that?” sergeant Jaysen with a tinge of emotion. Sabrina's pair of sparkling blue eyes stared at him sharply.
“Sit!”
There was no reaction from Jaysen who seemed stubborn. He stood unmoved as if he had not heard Sabrina's words earlier.
“If you really want me to tell you what I know, then please sit quietly and cool your head! Don't let the emotions keep you in control! It will be bad for your future wife.” Sabrina explained with great emphasis.
Sabrina let out a long sigh, she felt disconnected and said, “Oh Lord! Why did you find my Artemis with this kind of demon?” he complains with dramatic tone.
Jaysen gnashed his jaw, he was so dislikeful whenever he heard Sabrina mention the word - I was behind the name Artemis. He knew very well who the beautiful designer meant by the name Artemis.
Who else if not his beautiful wife? No one can claim that possession, that woman belongs to him!
“Don't call him that!” jaysen Protest. “No need to add words - me! She's mine not yours!” jaysen's grunts made Sabrina complain even more.
“Yes God! Facing this demon does require god-level patience.”
Sabrina's head was made to pulsate dizziness by Jaysen's overly exaggerated behavior according to her. Sabrina took a deep breath several times trying to calm herself down.
“Alright Young Master. Now listen to me yes. It is better if you remember it well. Note if it is necessary but obviously, I will not want to repeat it. Understand?”
Jaysen nodded while putting on a serious expression ready to listen to what Sabrina was about to say. The man doesn't realize at all that he's starting to pay attention to anything that concerns his future wife. Even the trivial things did not want him to miss a bit.
“Explain to me. I'll listen.”
Sabrina complained inwardly as she faced the rigid and pushy attitude of the man in front of her.
“Oh Artemis! Your struggle is still very long and heavy my dear!” his weakness.
...*****...
There is something strange and different about Jaysen. In the morning, he woke up first.
“Honey, let's get up. Already in the morning do not sleep again...sadly let's wake up!” call Jaysen in a soft voice. Her hand stroked Emily's hair and cheeks gently as if she didn't want to surprise the girl.
Though usually Jaysen will immediately pull Emily's blanket if she is still sleeping so that the girl will wave and immediately wake up. Jaysen's patience to wake Emily didn't bother him or make him emotional. Really quite a drastic change.
At breakfast.
“Honey, would you like breakfast in the room or in the dining room?” he asked while sitting sweetly and patiently waiting until Emily finished dressing up. Though usually, ready or unprepared Jaysen will drag or even call for Emily to accompany him to breakfast in the dining room.
Then at lunch and dinner, which they usually eat separately but now they always eat together. And Jaysen always asked Emily what she wanted first and had the cook make it.
Not enough to get there, Jaysen even accompanied Emily as often as possible starting from the girl to wake up until going to sleep again at night. He even offered Emily something, for example, if the girl wanted pedicure manicure, facial and body care, and even asked if she wanted to buy something, Jaysen would fulfill all her interests.
Now every day whether it was noon to evening, the blind man would bring a pile of paper full of writings to the library. Jaysen then checked one by one the documents there under the pretext that Emily did not feel bored reading the book alone.
It has been a week since the schedule of fitting clothes that time and since then Jaysen's behavior began to change. It was indeed not too much of a change from the black-cloaked man. He is still often stiff and irritable when talking but certainly Jaysen is not as rough as before.
At least Emily felt a little relieved now never again to be subjected to the harsh treatment and angry cries of Jaysen. He can live his days in peace and quiet.
