"That's it!!" romi muttered when he saw Devan's car parked on the edge of a deserted road.

He immediately stopped his vehicle and immediately went out to check on Devan's condition.

"Where is he?" romi asked when he did not see Devan in the car.

"Handphone is here. Where's the guy?" Romi looked around but there was no one at all.

"Devan left the car on and left the phone behind" Romi muttered as he looked at the situation inside Devan's car.

"Is the kidnapper the same one who kidnapped Nayra?" ask Romi

"It can be." Faiz replied.

"I'll be there now to see the situation."

"Why not just Ilyas?" ask Romi

"Ilyas went to Kemang to see the situation where Nayra was last seen, also going to Menteng to trace the number that Maya used earlier when contacting Devan."

Maya comes out of her room and meets Carol who seems to be chatting with some of their big boss's men. Maya takes a seat next to Carol after asking someone to move places.

"Who were they carrying?" maya asked and gulped down the whisky she had taken forcibly from Carol's hand.

Carol snorts resentfully at Maya's behavior of picking up her whisky glass without permission.

"I don't know." Carol answered honestly, because she had not seen anyone being brought into their boss' house.

"Something you brought back here?" ask Carol to their big boss' men

"Yes, he's the main bait that big bosses want." replied one of the men who has a tall thin body.

"Who?" asked Maya who was curious who it was, because she had vaguely seen the face of the person like the person she knew. Although not yet certain, but he is sure that it is the true person.

"The son-in-law of the Arasyid family." replied one of the big boss' men.

"Who?" ask Carol who was also curious,

"The girl we kidnapped yesterday" said one of the boss' men.

"What?" shouted Carol who just found out that the kidnap of his men the big boss is Devan, the husband of Nayra which means his friend, Maya's ex-husband.

"That's right, I didn't see it wrong." Maya's mind when she found out that their boss's men were Devan.

"Isn't the problem the same with the Arasyids? Why bring Devan too?" ask Maya in the heart. Really, Maya wants to know who the big boss has asked Carol to vouch for it. He has been free for almost two weeks but he does not know who is behind his freedom.

"Carol, I want to talk to you alone." take Maya and go to her room. He didn't want to talk important things in front of the big boss' men. He could be back in jail.

Carol, who does not have any activities or work, follows Maya from behind.

"I want to ask you again." Maya stared intently at Carol who was lying on her bed. They were in Maya's room.

"Who's the big boss asking you to guarantee me freedom?" asked Maya for the time she was released from prison two weeks ago.

"I've told you many times that I don't know either, who came to see me at that time the gungkring earlier." replied Carol who was embarrassed by Maya's question that's it.

"Why?" ask Carol who saw Maya just shut up like she thought.

"Does this big boss in question have anything to do with Devan and Nayra?" ask Maya who walked near the window.

"Did Nayra or Devan have been close to other people or maybe have a special relationship like that?" maya looked back at Carol.

"Nothing. Only Nayra used to have a fiancee and was going to get married but Nayra canceled it and chose to return with Devan." Carol replied as it was appropriate as she knew.

"Nayra has a fiancee and is getting married?" asked Maya once again, because as far as she knew during her honeymoon, Nayra was seen secretly harboring feelings for Devan, as well as Devan vice versa. He also overheard Nayra and Devan's last conversation inside Nayra's room in the back pavilion after Devan's return from Ankara before they finally went their separate ways.

"Yes, her fiance is Ilyas and she is the one who accompanied Nayra during her time away from Devan's life and helped Nayra's business until now" Carol replied as if she knew Nayra.

"Ilyas?? Is our big boss named Ilyas?" ask Maya guessing what she has in mind.

"It may not be May. Ilyas is Aska's man, Aska's right hand. There's no way he's the mastermind behind this kidnapping." Carol refutes the presumption of Maya.

"Who knows. I'm just arguing." Maya said as Carol refuted her preconceived notions.

"You're right too. Even if she was the one, it would mean that it was really sadistic" said Carol, who suddenly confirmed Maya's preconceived notions after publicly denying them.

Maya smiles cynically upon hearing Carol who justifies her presumption.
